I'm not sure it's standard to pour the first glass of welcome wine, but I had no choice but to order a bottle of sparkling white wine there served. It was so fine, and all the food was incomparable. and the dishes expressed so deliciously in the essence of the taste were astounding. When we got the first menu for the pasta it is so fresh all the ocean covered my mouth. After i just missed thst taste. Steak. Steak! Perfect. Not sort so. Tenderloin meat. Very low area for ethe gray zone. Unbelievable. American steak all way flowing like this type of steak. They never made cost from this. Little like tataki style. But u need to try with redwine. Before have some nice withe sparking. I really hope this restaurant, which offers us an unforgettable taste at these prices, doesn't change. Compared to the previous £200 for a light meal in Florence, Rome, this restrant. not just price. I’m not a really rich person. Of course. But i when to sevral time two more stars michelin. But the price. And change the menu. All good. All perfect. It's incredible. The taste and atmosphere. If you have the strength to pour wine, you must come here and eat. Compared to the previous time I paid 200 euros for a light meal at a Michelin restaurant in Rome...unbelievable. Taste and atmosphere. 18/01/2025: We returned after months from Gastone, a truly special place. The environment has always been well cared for, elegant in its simplicity. Mattia and Lorenzo in the dining room are a concentration of competence and enthusiasm, a winning formula. What about food? The fish is very fresh, the lobster pasta was simply perfect. We also appreciated the accompaniment with quality wines. Place of the heart in Florence!

28/12/2024: We were recommended this place by a waiter from a nearby restaurant. Due to the Christmas rush, it wasn't easy to find a spot, but we finally managed to get a table on December 27. After too many Florentine dishes 😅, the fish was a refreshing change! We started with the Tartare di Gamberi Rosa, which was simply amazing, and followed with the Sea Bass in Salt, which was also excellent. It came with three sides: eggplant with olives, capers, and tomatoes - absolutely delicious - sautéed spinach (well, it’s spinach 😅), and super crunchy French fries. Overall, a great experience, but be aware - it won’t be cheap!

22/01/2025: Marco che dirti, innanzitutto grazie mille. Ospitalità, cordialità, consigli e raccomandazioni, tutto PERFETTO! Partiamo dai vini, anzi no, atmosfera e welcome caldi e avvolgenti. Vino: poesia in bottiglia, 2 consigli su 2 apprezzatissimi! Antipasto misto in condivisione, materie prime di livello e tipiche della zona, esaltate sapientemente e senza corromperne il gusto, anzi! Primo piatto in condivisione: Scrigni cacio, pepe e tartufo con un po’ di pera che dava una nota dolce al piatto..un altro 10+! E poi il trionfo su tavola: La Bistecca Fritta! Un must di questo locale che lavora la carne da maestro! La recensione la stiamo facendo prima del dolce e del conto ma ormai è chiaro: Qui non si mangia, si volaaaaaa! Continuate così e grazie ancora per l’esperienza memorabile! Ps anche tantissime scelte di dolci e piatti senza glutine

08/02/2025: Not just typical dishes: we ate a very good oxtail. The mushroom and chestnut soup, their specialty, is excellent. Fast service, very kind managers. Everything perfect.

11/11/2024: Sunday afternoon lunch on the terrace in the November sun. Drank Tuscan rose and had a delicious meal. Nice little town to walk through after dinner.

17/02/2025: What a gem! We were so tired from walking and saw Osteria de Proconsolo that looked inviting and cute. We were welcomed by Fiona who was so friendly and suggested just the right meal for us. We split a pappardelle with boar sauce; the chef made a bigger portion for us to split. The glass of wine was just right. If you are in the neighborhood you cannot go wrong eating here. It’s close to the Duomo. I highly recommend.

22/01/2025: Even though I was last at this place almost two years ago, I can’t stop thinking about the Bistecca alla Fiorentina I had there. The most delicious one among the many I’ve tried in Tuscan restaurants. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. The atmosphere of this place reflects the most wonderful family feasts, with food of the highest quality. In my mind, the taste of the beef and the scent of truffles from this place have stayed with me permanently. I love it, I recommend it, and I’ll be back soon ❤️ Thank you! 🇮🇹

17/01/2025: Cena fra amici, locale abbastanza pieno: Il servizio è stato piuttosto veloce, e tutto era molto buono. Piatti molto curati, anche se forse è stato guastato da un po’ troppa confusione e lo spazio parecchio ristretto. Cmq come cibo, direi che è stato ottimo, le foto parlano da sole

14/01/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante con due cari amici una domenica a pranzo. Il ristorante è situato al centro del paese in un contesto bellissimo con un panorama meraviglioso, il locale, probabilmente una vecchia cantina, arredato con sapienza, gusto ed eleganza ha mantenuto un fascino antico; il personale è gentile, premuroso, attento e professionale; il cibo è di alta qualità ed è molto ben impiantato il vine molto buono. Personalmente ho mangiato i picci con sugo bianco e tartufo, purtroppo il tartufo poco gustoso e poco profumato, comunque buoni e poi il coniglio disossato e ripieno, eccezionale. Il prezzo un po alto anche se la qualità dei prodotti serviti era eccellente. Un locale da consigliare e da tornarci, magari in primavera/estate dove puoi mangiare all'aperto e godere del meraviglioso panorama

13/12/2024: Frequento questo ristorante da tantissimi anni ed è una garanzia in Maremma. A pochi km. dal centro di Castiglione della Pescaia, la location è immersa negli ulivi, il locale è molto curato con tanti tavoli all’aperto. Se volete mangiare un’ottima bistecca alla fiorentina, filetto di chianina o un tomahawk questo è il posto giusto! Ci sono però anche svariati piatti per i vegetariani. Lo chef Alessio propone una cucina mediterranea con piatti tradizionali e creativi sempre alla ricerca di nuovi gusti. Le materie prime sono di eccellente qualità. Si vede che la cura per il dettaglio è fondamentale nella realizzazione di ogni portata dall’antipasto al dolce. L’accoglienza è sempre impeccabile, il proprietario Gianni è molto simpatico, sempre disponibile e attento al cliente. La sommelier Giulia è super professionale e competente e vi consiglierà in base ai vostri gusti. Il servizio inizia sempre offrendo un piccolo entréee e a fine cena/pranzo portano un assaggio di pasticceria. I piatti storici che consiglio sono sicuramente tutti quelli della carne alla griglia, la selezione di prosciutti crudi, i tortelli di Elda e il filetto alla Rossini alla maniera di Nello. Date sempre uno sguardo a quello che propone la cucina perché troverete degli antipasti, primi e secondi sfiziosi e molto interessanti. Finisco con un grandissimo applauso a tutti per la passione, cortesia e entusiasmo e per le serate speciali che abbiamo trascorso in questo locale e che non dimenticheremo mai! Peccato che non si possono dare 10 stelle!

09/01/2025: My husband and i found this restaurant by coincidence. It is one of the best restaurants we tried in Florence, i really loved the food, it was delicious and fresh. You can feel that the food was made with love, i just can’t get over it.The staff was friendly and nice. Our visit was on January 2023. I wish i could travel back to Florence just to dine there again.
