15/08/2024: I was looking for a restaurant that served gluten-free dishes. This place is a bit dated in terms of structure, however clean, family atmosphere, they are the pioneers of gluten free, they started twenty years ago, they cook homemade egg pasta, the portions are generous, among the first courses: tagliatelle, tagliolini, ricotta and spinach ravioli with various condiments, then second courses and even desserts. I ate grilled vegetables, ricotta and spinach ravioli, for dessert I chose tozzetti with Vin Santo. Everything very good, even the price

Seguiti e accompagnati in sala da Nicola che grazie alla spettacolare chef Assunta, ci ha fatto fare un viaggio enogastronomico da ripetere. Piatti prelibati, a partire dall’entré con un rocher di fegatini su una deliziosa marmellata e a seguire una degustazione “Terra” veramente eccezionale. Vi auguriamo i migliori successi. 27/07/2024: Arriving by chance from the nearby hotel I discovered a fantastic place. Small and elegant place. Short menu with 5 land and 5 sea proposals that can be combined in 3 or 5 course tastings. I mixed it up a bit starting from hand-beaten tartare with asparagus and burrata, egg cooked at low temperature with pecorino cheese with truffle, linguine with pesto/lemon/raw prawn, octopus + cod with aubergine and passion fruit mochi with mango ice cream/ apricot and fruit tartare. What really amazed me is the attention to detail in the cuisine: the marinade of the tartare, the cooking of the egg, the cooking of the pasta in the prawn broth, the aubergine with its juice, the freshly made fruit tartare . I remember every dish in detail, which doesn't happen often to me. Wise and valid wine pairing that I recommend. The amuse bouche was also excellent, which was a rocher of livers paired with a Sangiovese with macerated fruit. Courteous and attentive service without unnecessary formalism. I have been lucky enough in my life to be able to eat in around 50 starred/multi-starred restaurants. I wouldn't be surprised if sooner or later I found the star plaque on the entrance wall of this delightful restaurant

The quality of the dishes is unsurpassed, the Fiorentina is absolutely worth trying, where I greatly appreciated the gesture of showing it to me for selection before cooking, a touch of attention to the customer that really makes the difference. I highly recommend avoiding the tourist restaurants near the tower and opting for this place, which offers authentic flavors and impeccable service. I can't wait to go back! 07/08/2024: Let's draw a veil of compassion...the rib that should have been 5/600 grams rare arrived 3 mm thick. overcooked and no more than 300 grams. From chef to chef...change jobs! that a cut of meat like that is uncookable because as soon as you turn it even once during cooking it's already overcooked with that thickness... too bad... OK I'LL ANSWER YOU: The problem isn't getting the dish wrong, the problem is not not even being able to understand how much the scale shows and see the thickness.....but I doubt this..I think it was cooked and served even knowing everything...that's why the review is so severe!

01/08/2024: X the owner who replied to me regarding the first courses with cream: first of all I know Italian perfectly and everything that concerns it, secondly if he also puts cream in brackets it means that the ingredient is still there regardless of whether it is used to mix... it is written only to cover the pain... in case of intolerances. So next time speak more politely and accept criticism if you have decided to do this job. I therefore believe that without cream the dishes are not as top as he says. Greetings

18/08/2024: Very common crostini but... velvety, tortelli expertly enriched with sage with a particular and light filling. Excellent choice of wines, outdoor venue too, fast service and duck breast... I won't tell you because I'm jealous.

10/08/2024: Squisito ristorante appena fuori dal centro di Pisa. Customer service davvero accogliente, piatti deliziosi ed ambiente che ti fa sentire a casa. Locale trovato quasi per caso che meriterebbe molta ma molta più visibilità. Una particolare nota di merito alla pazienza del personale che ha aspettato che finissimo di mangiare senza metterci pressione nonostante la tarda ora. Grazie!
