12/06/2026: The place isn't typically crowded with tourists, so it feels quiet. The Florentine steak is delicious. The highlight is the staff, extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Esmeralda: it was truly a pleasure to meet her.

01/06/2026: I made a reservation and visited around lunchtime on May 17th. I ordered Ossobuco + Risotto, Ravioli, and Roasted Vegetables. The Roasted Vegetables were really delicious, and as for the Ravioli, it tastes best when eaten hot as soon as it comes out. The outer layer became hard as it cooled down. The Risotto had a flavor I was trying for the first time, but it was decent. The Ossobuco is similar to Korean Galbi-jjim (braised short ribs) and Jangjorim (beef jerky), but without the sweetness. It slices well along the grain, but you have to chew it for a long time once it enters your mouth. Since you are in Milan, it is worth trying at least once!! The staff are gruff but friendly.

09/04/2026: I dined at this restaurant with friends on April 4, 2026. We had a great time. The highlight was the 4.8 kg Florentine steak. The duck pici, mixed crostini, tagliolini, and various side dishes were also good (only the coccoli was raw inside). The price was fair.

15/04/2026: I went to this restaurant for lunch on Sunday. We had the dip, which I absolutely adore, followed by rice with artichokes, and finally the fried vegetables with artichokes and flowers, followed by apple tart with vanilla ice cream. Everything was truly superb. The only flaw, and I'm sorry to say this considering we ate on the enclosed veranda, was that our clothes picked up the smell of the food. A bit unpleasant, because if we'd had a late afternoon meeting, we'd definitely have had to go home and change. It's a shame about this problem. The food, however, was a 10!

22/03/2026: Even though it's located in a large square with plenty of parking, parking can be a bit difficult (luckily, I found it). There are a few steps to access the restaurant, but otherwise, it's a welcoming place with excellent staff who make you feel at ease. Lunch was enjoyable, highlighting the excellent cured meats on offer, especially Cinta Senese. The cacio e pepe pici were a bit subdued, in my opinion being too oily and not creamy enough. Overall, not bad, considering the price and quality-to-price ratio. I'll definitely be back.

08/06/2026: A nice restaurant on the square of the Cathedral of Prato. It is wonderful especially in the evening. You enjoy good wine and traditional Tuscan cuisine. Excellently prepared dishes, served kindly by young and energetic people. Prices are moderate. They welcome you warmly and with a smile and respond to your every wish. It is difficult to find seats, it is good to make a reservation. I recommend

21/05/2026: Dishes that straddle tradition and a touch of innovation, but above all tradition. (Almost) a business lunch with former colleagues, excellent value for money. Perhaps not the place for a romantic or Michelin-starred dinner, but it's the kind I prefer: focused on the food, good, and in non-homeopathic quantities. My choice was the truffle pici, excellent. The ice cream and red fruit tegolina was also excellent.

29/05/2026: Food was excellent, seasoned so perfectly. Most of the options were not typical North American food, but the taste was fantastic. The atmosphere was also terrific. Definitely something to experience when in Florence.

02/06/2026: You can tell the place is well-kept and loved by the owners. Modern and welcoming without being overbearing. I'd saved it for a visit, perhaps because someone recommended it or because I'd just noticed it. The polenta was definitely above average, as were all the fried foods we ordered (fresh potatoes and a mix of brains, chicken, and flowers). Delicious crostini neri (a little too anchovy for me, but that's just my personal preference), tagliatelle with wild boar was top-notch—nothing to complain about—the fegatelli in the net were super flavorful (but a bit on the border between overcooked and burnt), and the fritto dell'aia (agricultural farmyard fish) was excellent, as mentioned above, but the portion was a bit small for €20 (the photo only lacks one flower; the other pieces were the same). Overall, it wasn't perfect, but the atmosphere, the ingredients, and the attention to detail made it an excellent dinner and a place I'd return to. P.S. I'd add a small selection of alcohol-free beers, including non-commercial brands, to please us pregnant women who can't drink and can't tolerate sugary drinks 🤣. See you next time!

01/06/2026: Tonight we went to this quiet little place surrounded by greenery and tranquility. Aside from the food, which was truly excellent (the vegetables chosen among the main courses—I don't remember the name, but they were divine), there were two young men serving us who should set a precedent for courtesy and professionalism. My compliments to everyone.

08/06/2026: Had dinner here with my mother and teenage children. Food was absolutely phenomenal. Pleasant, family run restaurant, reasonably priced, with a great view. This is the traditional family restaurant you are looking for. 10/10 would come again!

05/06/2026: This started restaurant offers authentic, traditional tuscan cuisine, with good wine and a stunning location in the middle of a cute tuscan town on the top of a hill, in the middle of nowhere. If you’re looking classy, but authentic Tuscany, you can’t find anything more of this. The terrace doesn’t have many tables but the background of the tuscan hills and the gentle, warm wind are truly a bliss. I would have easily rated five stars for the food, the location and the atmosphere, but the service hasn’t been at its best: one of the waiters clearly would have rather been somewhere else that day.

Our first bites of seafood pasta and seafood risotto left us speechless. It’s a great place to have lunch on a sunny spring day. You must try it!
