07/02/2026: If you want to book, make sure you do so well in advance as there are only a few tables, but trust me... you won't regret it! It was my first time there, so I ordered a main course and a dessert... the tagliata with lard was DEVASTATING... The dessert is no exception. I'll definitely be back several times until I've tried the entire menu!

08/11/2025: I had dinner with family and friends. The appetizers and first courses were excellent. For my taste, I preferred the Florentine rib eye steak. A decent selection of wines, with excellent recommendations from the owner, who always knows how to give the best advice. It's become a regular stop when I want to eat well and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere.

08/03/2026: We're lucky to have found this place, the lunch was amazing, from the service and presentation to the dessert! The entrees were perfectly prepared, and my ravioli with tartufo was delicious. I highly recommend it. I'm thrilled!

04/01/2026: A typical trattoria in the center of Siena, good food, and a very authentic restaurant. The only flaw is that they close at 2:30 PM, meaning that if you get to the limit, the staff will try to make you feel welcome, but you can tell they can't wait for you to finish and leave to close up. Understandable, but I think if you want to run a restaurant in the center of a city like Siena, you can't even consider closing so early. But all in all, a great experience. Oh, I forgot, when you name dishes, especially traditional ones, you have to respect them. Spaghetti all'assassina: not even the spaghetti was worthy of a review.

09/03/2026: Booked a table for 2 at 19:00 on Monday 9th March as they had no other time's available. We drove from Pisa to eat here and it was completely closed and all the lights off.

04/12/2025: I would like to express my sincere thanks to Signora Lisa for her exceptional hospitality. The property's location is simply magnificent, just half an hour from Siena and the same distance from Arezzo. The place is enchanting, elegantly furnished with care and attention to detail. The rooms are splendid, with very comfortable beds, mattresses, and pillows, and the bathrooms are impeccable. Breakfast is served in a fairytale setting and offers a wide selection of flavors, including fresh juices, coffee, tea, sweet and savory pastries, croissants, and much more. Signora Lisa's kindness and helpfulness make every guest feel like part of the family. Thank you so much: our experience was truly wonderful. We can't wait to return!

12/03/2026: Last night we had a get-together with friends. Davide's menu was absolutely delicious. The mixed antipasto was recommended. Excellent red wine. The "carnazza" steak was rare and medium rare, and finished with a homemade tiramisu and amaro. Highly recommended for a lovely evening in a casual, family-friendly atmosphere!

12/03/2026: The food was plentiful and delicious. I was surprised by the spaghetti marinara, which was served in a large pan and I found very amusing. The waiter was very friendly. The only thing I didn't like was that there was only one waiter for all the tables, and he was quite slow. But if you're in the area, try it! The tiramisu was delicious.

06/03/2026: Excellent, tasty, and authentic food! A truly worthy osteria. We ordered the house mixed antipasto for two, with various selections of chicken livers, lampredotto, and cured meats; for the main course, 1.2kg of Florentine steak with roast potatoes. Spectacular! Fair price for what it offers! I'd say we'll be back, but we've already been back 😅

10/03/2026: Experience on Saturday, March 7, 2026: Looking for a good Florentine steak, I booked two days in advance. I checked the website and the reviews, and it was excellent. The website lists the available cuts of meat, and we can't wait. We show up 15 minutes early. There are people ahead of us waiting to be seated, so I go over and tell the girl I have a reservation. She tells me to wait a moment. Another couple comes in and says they also have reservations. Well, the girl seats the two people who arrived after us, and we're no longer considered. Oh well, I wait another 5 minutes and then remind the girl that we're the ones from before who are waiting. She tells me they're freeing up the table. We're off to a bad start, but never mind, these things happen. We're given the menu to scan with a QR code. While looking at it, I notice two strange things: the menu is different from the one on the website, with one big difference: there's no sign of Florentine steak! We consult and think they might be taking it for granted. After another 10 minutes, a very kind young woman arrives to take my order. I immediately ask her for the Florentine steak, but she tells me it's not on the menu because it's only available in the summer, and that the official menu is the one you can access internally via QR code. Well, I tell her I booked because I saw their menu on their official website, but the one I'm looking at doesn't match that. She's visibly upset, but she tells me there's nothing she can do. So we decide to get up and leave the restaurant, definitely never going back. Since I'm a restaurateur and my partner is a chef, I never expected such treatment, or at least for the owner to show up and apologize. I'm sorry to be among the few who give it a star, and the 4.5 rating is certainly deserved, but not in this case.
