We stopped for lunch, welcoming and friendly staff, excellent food, excellent value for money

The waiter, either Francesco or Federico—sorry, I don't remember his name—was amazing. He served us very well, made us laugh, and fed us deliciously, despite it being a tourist spot. We'd be happy to come back!!!

Welcoming place, all the staff are very friendly, they make you feel right at home. You can taste that everything is homemade: authentic products and flavors that remind us of family. If we ever pass through Bolgheri again, it will be a stop for us.

Great food and service; decent prices

Easter lunch at La Bottega di Elena, with a daily menu based on Tuscan specialties, without unnecessary extras but with great attention to the ingredients. Traditional appetizers were well executed: pappa al pomodoro, prosciutto al taglio, and a platter of Tuscan cured meats. The pappardelle with hare was excellent, with a balanced sauce and just the right amount of boldness, never overpowering, resulting in a full and satisfying dish. The tripe alla livornese was also very convincing, a true test of balance with a flavorful ingredient. The meal ended with Tuscan cantucci biscuits. All accompanied by a Varvàra Bolgheri DOC 2023 from Castello di Bolgheri, an elegant and territorial red that complements the dishes well without overpowering them. The only complaint: the space is a bit cramped, but understandable given the high turnout on Easter Sunday. Service was attentive and punctual. An authentic, solid, and well-executed experience. Well done.

A place worth a stop, with simple yet decidedly authentic dishes. You can also purchase excellent wines and many other local products. Attentive and friendly service.

Great food in a warm environment

Very welcoming place, fast and friendly service. We ate crostini with livers and a bruschetta with olive oil as an appetizer, then we shared delicious braised ravioli and a corn fillet with porcini mushrooms cooked very well, for cake we had an apple pie among the best we have eaten. Highly recommended.
