04/06/2026: We had a super delicious meal; you can really taste that the pasta is homemade! The truffle tortelli was my favorite, and the wild boar pasta was also very good. The side dishes were tasty too. There is plenty of room inside, even for a larger group. I will be back next time!

31/05/2026: I'm particularly critical when judging restaurants, but if I had to find something wrong with this place, I wouldn't know where to turn. Delicious food, trying more or less the entire menu, including truffles (I liked the first courses the most), the second courses were very good (I'll never forget the suckling pig), and the red wine from the space house. Quiet place, a little cramped inside, and the tables outside are sloped but in the shade. Excellent value for money! (3 adults and a child spent about €100) That said, I congratulate you!

05/05/2026: Stop by! The traditional menu and top-quality ingredients are worth more than a taste! The meat, of course, never disappoints, but the other dishes are equally impressive, especially the black truffle. Excellent value! We'll be back!

04/05/2026: I naively trusted what was presented to me as a Florentine steak. I said okay. Luckily, someone took a photo, and my friends noticed the lack of fillet and T-bone in general. We pointed this out before the meat was served (it arrived a good 15 minutes later). They candidly admitted it and tried several times to turn the conversation around: "Since we said okay, we'll get the rib-eye steak at the price of a Florentine steak," or "If I tell you the T-shirt is a down jacket and you buy it as a down jacket, it's your fault," and so on. In the end, they granted a whopping €24 discount on 3.8 kg of meat sold for €50 and €60 (we had mixed steak with the Prussian steak, which costs more). Meanwhile, I noticed some amusing quotes from B.M.: the picture was complete and finally clear. I wouldn't go back just because of their mean behavior towards a group of amused Milanese people.

The service was genuinely friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, and the prices were lower than I expected for the area — easy on the wallet for a family meal. The food, unfortunately, was the weak link. The pasta dish was meh, and the chicken arrived as a plate of fried everything with no real flavor to speak of. Nothing was inedible, but nothing stood out either. If you’re looking for a cheap, low-key meal with friendly service, it’s an option. For a memorable dinner, keep looking.

06/11/2025: In the heart of Florence's historic center, in the heart of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, we celebrated a special birthday at Trattoria Da Garibardi. An icon of Florentine cuisine... but also a paradise for us celiacs! A dedicated gluten-free menu, many traditional dishes, and captivating quality. All accompanied by kind, friendly, and super attentive staff: they even brought us a gluten-free dessert with a candle. We'll be back soon... perhaps to try the real Fiorentina!

02/05/2026: Returning home with a smile and a full heart (and belly)! A place I stumbled upon by chance, while in Ambra for work, and found a welcoming, friendly atmosphere with excellent Tuscan food. I felt at home. Leonardo is a kind person who loves his demanding but satisfying work. The first evening was a pleasure getting to know him and everyone who works with him. The second evening (because where you feel good, you return) was like being at home, with family, among friends. And I, thank you all, return to Genoa with fond memories of wonderful people and excellent food! Leonardo clearly loves making the people who stop by his osteria feel at home, but beyond him, there's his wife Valeria in the kitchen, preparing authentic dishes with love, and the girls who work with them are knowledgeable and welcoming, always smiling. 03/04/2026: This is our third time here, and like every time, the experience is wonderful. The food was divine. The Florentine steak was exceptional, as always. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality. We can't wait to return.

06/06/2026: We discovered Ristorante da Padellina by chance because we spent a night in the Strada area during our tour of the Chianti region. The place is very spartan, but that's precisely its beauty. The walls are adorned with various objects of very different genres and styles. I particularly enjoyed reading the "reviews" left by other customers who had dined here before us. The Florentine steak is cooked to perfection, and to accompany it, their roast potatoes in a ghiotta pan are a must. The potatoes are cooked in the oven underneath the roasts, then seasoned with all the sauce released by the meat.

12/06/2026: While vacationing in the area, we visited twice, trying different dishes, and we loved them all. It was also special to eat at the only restaurant in Montepescali: they have outdoor seating in a small piazza, and we loved it even more: an indoor dining room downstairs and a beautiful adjoining loggia (with seating). The staff is friendly and attentive, and a small mistake in our order doesn't ruin this impression. The food is carefully prepared, high-quality, and in just the right quantity. The prices are absolutely fair, especially considering the location. For example: pici cacio e pepe €12, chicken tagliata €14, fries €5, sautéed vegetables €5, medium beer €6, microfiltered water €1.50, service charge €2 each (I forgot to ask if they charge more when booking through TheFork; many do, so be careful, and if they do, I wouldn't find it fair without some sort of advance notice). The menu also includes pizzas (though only in the evenings, if I'm not mistaken) and fish dishes. They also have a small food corner (sandwiches, etc.) and a bar for coffee, liqueurs, and breakfast (but with "convenient" hours). Payment is by POS, but since there may be some line pressure, it's best to ask in advance. Closed on Mondays. Parking isn't in front of the restaurant, but it's a few minutes' walk away. Reservations are recommended. We loved it, and highly recommended.

Amazing fresh local ingredients, great service, cool outdoor vibe & the best restrooms in all of Italy! If you know, you know. Tried the pigeon & lamb, both phenomenal! Also they gave us an appetizer & dessert on the house. It’s a well run business & a must if you can. Thank you, looking forward to coming back!!!!
