09/11/2025: We went to Trattoria La Gargotta for dinner and lunch. The place was beautiful, the staff very welcoming, kind, attentive, and professional. Excellent cuisine, and the chef was brilliant. He delighted us with delicious local dishes, such as pici with duck ragù, ricotta and spinach gnudi with butter and sage, pumpkin cream soup, and beef stew sautéed with onion. Kudos to the owner, who, despite the place being packed both days, managed to find us a table without hesitation. The laurino was delicious! See you next time!

28/10/2025: Lovely restaurant which serves typical Tuscan dishes at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and the owner was very welcoming. There were 6 of us and we shared a mixture of starters, which were really tasty. The pasta and meat dishes were excellent and portions were generous. There is a good range of wine available. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back!

22/10/2025: I must say we had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant the other evening; the food was excellent and plentiful, and the ingredients were genuine. The service was very friendly, and the atmosphere was quiet...we'll definitely be back.

01/11/2025: This is our second time here, and it didn't disappoint. We came on vacation and were satisfied. They even have dog bowls, and we, who were with our furry friends, appreciated it. You guys are fantastic.

06/11/2025: In the heart of Florence's historic center, in the heart of the San Lorenzo neighborhood, we celebrated a special birthday at Trattoria Da Garibardi. An icon of Florentine cuisine... but also a paradise for us celiacs! A dedicated gluten-free menu, many traditional dishes, and captivating quality. All accompanied by kind, friendly, and super attentive staff: they even brought us a gluten-free dessert with a candle. We'll be back soon... perhaps to try the real Fiorentina!

04/11/2025: My daughter and I had dinner at Carabaccia on Friday, October 31st. We booked this restaurant through The Fork and chose it because it was close to our hotel. The restaurant is in a beautiful location, we had a wonderful dinner, and we got the price right. We were so impressed that we returned the following evening and had a wonderful dinner. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. Highly recommended.

24/10/2025: Worse experience than expected. There were three of us, dinner time was 8:30 p.m. It was a simple order (three pizzas); for whatever reason, the order got "lost," and we weren't served until 9:45 p.m. Despite eye contact, they didn't care, seeing that we were out of pizzas on the table. The food. It was delicious, but judging by the reviews, I expected more. The dough was tasty, but something was missing. I recommend the 3-tomato pizza, which did have a "different" flavor. I can't say I would return because I was in the city for several days and avoided this establishment. I was quite displeased with the service, seeing how other customers who had arrived later and were in similar groups were still getting their orders. Above all, I was displeased that despite trying to notify us, there was no way to expedite the order.

17/11/2025: Very pleasant, we were welcomed with appetizers and tastings. The pasta was delicious and excellent value for money. The dishes were beautifully presented and right in the main square.

19/11/2025: We've been frequenting this trattoria for thirty years... and that alone tells you what we think of it, doesn't it? Their custom of welcoming diners with excellent Tuscan crostini (toasted bread) shows how much the customer is the center of attention here. The cuisine is typically Tuscan, with homemade pasta, like pici or tagliatelle, and meat cooked in a variety of ways, from tripe to Florentine steak. There's a wide selection of wines, but I highly recommend the house wine. In short, if you're looking for a place to eat traditional Tuscan food surrounded by beautiful countryside, this place is sure to please.

15/11/2025: A typical Tuscan countryside restaurant. It warms your heart in every season. The dishes have authentic flavors, taking you back in time. The owners' hospitality and friendliness are fantastic. Highly recommended!

04/11/2025: Pizzeria Boccanegra Next to the Ristorante!!! This pizzeria is unassuming. But: The pizza is PERFECT! The wine list offers EVERYTHING! EVERYTHING! The staff also speak good English. We'll be back because the food is fantastic and the locals eat here too.
