17/05/2026: Excellent restaurant with perfect organization. We were invited by friends who had dined here before, and we were pleasantly surprised not only by the quality of the dishes but also by the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Despite the varied menu, the courses were all served in sync (first round and second round, as they called it). Our table, however, wasn't the easiest to serve because it included 11 children and 8 adults with different needs (two with celiac disease). We had a great time and absolutely recommend it. We hope to return soon, and we apologize if the presence of so many children created service difficulties at times. (It should be noted that the staff remained smiling even during the inevitable moments of greatest "confusion.") See you soon.

07/05/2026: We can't say enough about Ambrosia. This was our second visit to Cortona and our second visit to Ambrosia. Each time the food and service were fantastic. The owner/chef greeted us and spoke with us about the dishes he prepared. We tried the six course chef's dinner and it was fantastic (and we love good food). Highly recommend.

04/05/2026: Coming off a victorious away match in Arezzo, we couldn't miss out on a Fiorentina steak, so—thanks to a clever idea from one of us—we booked here. Fiorentina steak was expertly prepared, tender, and melted in the mouth. Freshly prepared and served on sizzling hot plates to retain its heat. Roast potatoes and beans all'uccelletta served as a side dish. An excellent house Chianti was served with the side dish. A great victory and a dinner like this don't happen every day, so I was almost moved. A wonderful experience, definitely worth returning for. Greetings from Vicenza. 🇵🇪

14/04/2026: We stopped by chance and...we truly felt at home. A typical atmosphere, traditional Tuscan cuisine, and the two ladies in charge are wonderful. What can I say about the pappardelle with white sauce and mushrooms, and my pici with sausage and pumpkin. An excellent Chianti, and this place has gained two new customers. Bravo ❤️ from the bottom of my heart.

02/05/2026: Every time my parents go to Florence, they stop at this restaurant for lunch because of their delicious meat. After trying it, I can confirm the quality of the food and the hospitality. I highly recommend this place. They have an interesting dessert menu and a wine list that matches the type of cuisine they offer. The location is central and the place is large.

31/05/2026: We dined at this restaurant to try the food and then book a dinner for an event. We were pleased because everything was delicious, from the appetizers to the pizza and the tagliata. The manager is also kind and helpful.

22/05/2026: Il Cassero Ristorante Pizzeria was a delightful discovery. We went with friends and had a truly wonderful meal. The quality of the ingredients is immediately apparent: excellent cheeses, excellent meats, and very good wines, carefully recommended. A special mention goes to the host, who was truly knowledgeable, kind, and passionate. He guided us through the selection of dishes and wines, making the experience even more enjoyable. Everything was carefully prepared, authentic, and of the highest quality. For us, it's undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the area, if not the best. Highly recommended.

23/05/2026: Excellent dinner! The lasagna is incredible. Try any of their steak dishes... the are delicious. House wine was much better than expected.. ordered half litter to try.. ended up drinking the entire 1.5L. (Family of 4). 😃

22/05/2026: Came here for dinner after a fren’s recommendation. This place is packed! Even for early non-Italian dining hours eg 630-730pm entrance. The reason is crowded is becos it serve wholesome Italian food and very reasonable price. So can’t complain… good food + great prices = large crowds. Pls note that they have 2 outlets within a street apart.

26/04/2026: A tiny, meticulously maintained osteria in the alley. A few dishes, but authentic and explained with passion. The pici with aglione and pici with Chianina ragù are top-notch.
