24/09/2025: I'm giving it five stars because it's perhaps the best pizzeria in Milan. Coming home and knowing that this pizza was ordered brings a smile to your face. I ate there in the evening, and the only complaint I have is that the exterior isn't as well-maintained and is a bit basic. I still wouldn't be able to give it four stars because out of 100 positive things, one is negative!

28/09/2025: A lovely restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​the Campidoglio neighborhood. Welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent value. Prices are below Turin's average, but the quality and cuisine are excellent. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were almost perfect, both in terms of the quality and the cooking. All the dishes were top-notch. Darione's panna cotta was perfect in texture and flavor; accompanied by berry jam and caramel on the side. Dario, the owner and chef, is hot-tempered and egocentric, but always attentive to his guests. He provided us with some fun, sometimes over-the-top moments (which made us feel good). He's a direct and frank person, perhaps not for everyone, but his dishes somehow fit in with his restaurant and his way of doing things, setting the evening just right: convivial and rustic. The wine list was perfect in terms of both quality and quantity. My only small complaint is the size of the place in relation to the number of tables: despite the sound-absorbing panels, the noise level remains so high that it sometimes makes conversation difficult, but then again, you come here to eat and make a racket, not to discuss the big picture. I'll definitely be back. A great find. Recommended.

21/09/2025: We visited Maga Magò on a Wednesday afternoon. It was not busy and they had an availablily. The food was good, but the portion sizes are not so big, so I'd recommend getting some starters to share.

04/10/2025: Tldr: very presumptuous place with mediocre food. Food was fair. I ordered their 18€ special hamburger of the house but was served a meatball over a little peace of stale bread with no to top. When I said that it wasn't what I was expecting the stuck-up waitress replied that maybe I should go to McDonald's.... When I cynically answered that maybe I am provincial idiot and she understood my dissatisfaction she offered to replace the dish.

10/10/2025: Great food great atmosphere, had the shrimp risotto it was so delicious and satisfying, we also had the tuscany steak, was really good, highly recommended 👌🏻

08/10/2025: Spent about $40 each. Wife got pasta which was very good. I got the braised beef, it was a little tough, but not bad. The cheese cake is literally the best in the world. We concur. The cheesecake brought this 4 star review up to a 5 star.

09/07/2025: It's been a while since we've been back to Gargotta, and I think it's changed management. In any case, we ate very well. Excellent steak, excellent tartare, even fried flowers, and amazing desserts. The appetizer platter was perhaps a bit ordinary, and they could use a makeover. Excellent selection of wines and Prosecco. The terrace is perfect for summer evenings, with the background music of frogs that reminds us of the countryside. Discreet and informal service.

08/07/2025: Trattoria La Gargotta is a superb restaurant. I went there for dinner with four friends. We ate everything, a classic Tuscan/Florentine menu: classic Tuscan appetizer, first course (tagliolini with truffle), second course (grilled rosticciana), with side dishes (sautéed spinach and baked potatoes), and coffee. Everything was VERY GOOD. From start to finish. The service was a bit awkward; they confused the bottle we ordered with a more expensive one. The owner, having already opened it for us, apologized and offered it to us at the same price as the one we ordered. Truly very kind. (Not everyone would do that these days.) The restaurant is located in the Florentine hills, just outside the city, with a splendid terrace overlooking the city, and a very beautiful and characteristic interior. I highly recommend coming for dinner.
