25/04/2026: When we're in the mood for steak, this is our go-to restaurant. It's an hour and a half from home, but it's definitely worth it! The ingredients are excellent, and the atmosphere is homey. Highly recommended!

11/03/2026: I ate an excellent rib steak with friends. I particularly appreciated the tenderness of the meat, the use of three different salts to season to my taste, and the choice of knife. The wine cellar was excellent.

04/06/2026: We're a family of three with an almost 8-year-old child. I booked a table for dinner around 7:00 PM. As soon as we arrived, we saw the staff at the door, so, embarrassed, I joked about us being "the ones who dine early." The response was, "Don't worry, there are people who got there before you." We ordered a fried brain, a large fried dish, a burger with potatoes, a mixed salad, sautéed spinach, and a bottle of Sauvignon. The wine was warm. I told the waitress it was good but served at a temperature unsuitable for a white wine. She replied that the wine wasn't cold enough because the refrigerators were full of water and couldn't keep it cold properly. The food arrives... My son's burger wasn't bad, as were the fries. The brain was heavily breaded and full of oil, which I strictly rejected. My husband had the large fried dish, with the same problems. The best part is the side dishes. The salad (most likely the bagged one) was rotten and the spinach was dry. The fact is, we sent the dishes back without even touching them. Disappointed, we stood up to pay, and at the cashier they presented us with a preliminary bill of 92 euros... My husband said to the owner, "Yes, you can do better." The owner replied, "Why?" So we listed: the mulled wine, the used frying oil, the rotten salad, and the dry spinach... In response, the owner said, "You should have complained before." I replied that, if a professional sees dishes returned untouched, he should report it to the appropriate authorities and try to remedy the situation. We left with a bitter taste in our mouths and still hungry... now I understand why the dining room was full of foreigners, what a shame. Florentines can definitely do better.

15/05/2026: The trattoria has a trattoria vibe, lots of people, lots of good energy. Tables covered with cloth tablecloths and parchment paper. I recommend making a reservation, even though there are so many rooms and so many seats. People (tourists and locals) have a full meal, which means more time at the tables, enhanced by a great atmosphere. Even the bartender is attentive and helps you when you're looking for the bathroom. Very friendly. I ordered the daily special, excellent pot roast, also very good tiramisu, and an espresso. Special mention for the photo of the "cuoca" (cook) that I heard is there. May 14, 2026

19/05/2026: First time at this restaurant for lunch, for a birthday. To get there, you pass through Badia a Passignano and have to take a stretch of dirt road, but it all puts you in the countryside mood. The food and the friendliness of the staff are excellent, always courteous and helpful. As for my experience, I also had the pleasure of enjoying it on a Sunday in May, with sunshine and perfect temperatures, which made it even more enjoyable.

12/05/2026: A beautiful, welcoming place with an arched brick ceiling, rustic wooden tables, and good service. We tried "Totani di bosco" (fried tripe strips served with a sweet and sour sauce) and pici with white ragù. Good value.

09/05/2026: Chef Marco and his team made one of the best meals my girlfriend and I have had in recent memory. Sometimes Michelin stars are disappointment and overhyped, but I have to say this place was warm, inviting, and felt approachable and cozy right away. The service was excellent, the portions were generous, and the wine went with everything. Definitely go here when you visit Florence.

26/04/2026: My wife and I dined here during an anniversary trip to Florence. We both selected the chef’s recommended 5-course mostly fish menu and enjoyed one of the best meals of our lives. Each dish was artfully presented and tasted amazing. Everything about the meal was carefully curated from the intimate and comfortable space, the custom made bowl that mirrored the ceiling design, the Billie Holiday vocals whispering softly in the background, the automatic glass door separating the kitchen from the dining area, and, of course, the.delicious food. Our waiter Giuseppe was a delight and recommended a wonderful wine that nicely complemented the meal. It was a perfect evening.

10/05/2026: Enchanting, super relaxing location. Great lighting, music too. Let's move on to the menu: everything delicious. What can I say? 10 out of 10. Toscano in Lombardia: a pass. The Moggio amaro was also excellent (the very young lady at Sala couldn't tell us the name, but it was really good, with an intense thyme aroma! Well, the young lady, perhaps at her first experience, will need to work a little on her welcome, smiles, and courtesy 😅). The chef, on the other hand, is superb! Highly recommended.
