31/07/2025: Good food, friendly staff. I'm not giving it 5 stars because I didn't find it fair that we ordered a Florentine steak and they didn't show us the weight or present the steak before cooking, as is usually done in other trattorias, restaurants, etc. So we paid on faith for 1.60kg of Florentine steak, which also seemed less... But who knows for sure?!

29/07/2025: Trattoria Angiolino, a sure thing. If you want to eat mutton, this is the place for you. The penne with ragù is phenomenal. If you want to stay slim and avoid carbs, you can also eat it stewed, as it's the same one used for the pasta dishes. Unfortunately, I don't have a photo, but we also had the fried brains, a melt-in-your-mouth delicacy with a light batter that didn't ruin the dish. Last but not least, the homemade tiramisu was very, very good. Trattoria-style service, which never hurts, especially in a rustic place like this. I will definitely be back!

11/08/2025: My fiancée and I had the most incredible time at Il Profeta. Claudio, his wife, and the entire staff made our experience unforgettable, and the food was phenomenal. We cannot wait to return again ASAP! Also, they were also extremely accommodating with regard to my severe shellfish allergy.

22/07/2025: First of all, I advise anyone who chooses this restaurant not to come via the Cinque Vie and up the extremely narrow and steep Monteripaldi alley, especially if you're driving an SUV, as you risk scraping the walls. And if you take the wrong turn, it's extremely difficult to reverse. It's much better to reach it from Viale dei Colli, taking an easy detour along a much less winding and wider road. The historic restaurant offers a good view of Florence, nothing more, but it's more of a small trattoria than a restaurant. You enter through a small shop-like door, and indeed, right away, you're greeted by a delicatessen and grocery counter. However, the decor isn't the best, the table setting leaves much to be desired and could use a refresh, and the service is, to put it mildly, extremely slow (few, in fact, only two waiters). This exasperating slowness is the restaurant's real flaw. For such a historic restaurant, there were very few people and many tables were empty, and the dining room is anything but large. In short, there's a feeling of tiredness, and there's no sense of a special occasion; in short, Omero has become a bit anonymous. The food? Good but not unforgettable: generous Tuscan appetizers, flavorful first courses rich in sauce (penne, pici, etc.), tender sliced beef, fried chicken and rabbit, and pleasant side dishes; the desserts are a bit subdued. Overall, the price isn't expensive, but average.

03/08/2025: Ci sono stato un sacco di volte per occasioni diverse, da compleanni, a cene fra amici e cena in coppia ieri sera. Cesare ha le mani d’oro. Quel che fa è sempre squisito. Ieri sera funghi fritti clamorosi, bistecca da 1,3 kg che si tagliava con un grissino tanto era tenera. Quando voglio andare sul sicuro vado lì. Continuate così

01/08/2025: Abbiamo passato una bellissima serata in un posto accogliente con personale molto cordiale. Abbiamo mangiato una fiorentina alla brace succosa e saporita. La qualità prezzo molto buona, porzioni abbondanti, ingredienti di qualità e prezzi onesti. Non è la prima volta che si è mangiato qua; ottima la pizza, primi piatti di pasta fatta da loro, tutto ottimo e buonissimo. Un esperienza che sicuramente si ripeterà ancora.

05/08/2025: A very nice restaurant where we had a great meal. We tried the Tuscan charcuterie platter and the eggplant carpaccio for starters, then we tried the wild boar and polenta and really enjoyed it. We had the cheesecake for dessert. The cuisine is entirely homemade, and it shows. The service is excellent. We were warmly welcomed with a smile. The restaurant offers a wide selection of wines. This is a place we highly recommend.

02/08/2025: This is a typical trattoria. We made a reservation, but there was no one there when we went. The first courses and bruschetta were good. The cantucci they made were excellent. I recommend them.

29/07/2025: Going to this restaurant was such an amazing experience. The interior design is lovely. The staff served us in a very nice and professional way. But still, the highlight was the food. The bistecca and truffle beans were heavenly good. Also, my girlfriend arranged this night for my birthday and requested to have a prosecco upon arrival. They fulfilled our request and even gave the prosecco for free as a birthday gift. Absolute 10/10 experience.

28/07/2025: Nice restaurant, friendly staff considering the busy holiday season. We waited a bit before being seated despite having reservations, but I can understand why, as there weren't enough waiters for the number of customers. The Peposo al Sangiovese was excellent.

24/07/2025: Vi havde fået restauranten anbefalet af værten fra vores lejede hus i Castiglion Fiorentina og tog chancen og kørte derhen på feriens sidste aften uden bordbestilling. Allerede på p-pladsen summede det af liv og hygge og dejlig duft af grill - og vi kunne godt se, der allerede var fyldt med mennesker udenfor trods vores ankomst kort efter åbningstid kl. 19.30. Var usandsynlig heldige og personalet fiksede et 10-mandsbord til os i den hyggelige have, hvor vi spiste lækker lækker mad - steak, pastaretter og pizza. Den bedste pizza jeg har fået hernede på denne ferie.

20/07/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant and the staff was very welcoming and kind. The starters and desserts were very good. I had a meat main course and it was decent. I recommend eating outside because it's very pretty and the view is beautiful.

13/07/2025: Excellent food (the wild boar pappardelle was superb), attentive service in a well-maintained setting. Highly recommended.

13/07/2025: Nothing to complain about. Remarkable view and truly interesting ingredients in a very beautiful setting, like Capalbio. Average prices, fast and attentive service. Recommended! A must try.

22/07/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance for lunch. The menu offers a good selection of Tuscan dishes. The Coccoli (a type of pasta) with stracchino cheese served in a small bowl and spoon, and generous amounts of prosciutto crudo, beautifully presented on a wooden platter. The sausages were good, and the roast potatoes were well-cooked. The Prosecco was good and kept nice and cold. The terrace overlooks Pratolino Park, but there are also several seats inside. The bathrooms and spaces are clean. The background music is kept low, so it doesn't disturb conversation at the table. The owners and staff are friendly and polite, but not intrusive.

20/07/2025: A historic restaurant serving delicious, plentiful local dishes. The prices are also very reasonable. The only small flaw is that the walls reflect a lot of sound, making the noise level quite high. Particularly suitable for groups, even of 30 people, for whom it's easy to secure a private room and set a menu.
