14/03/2026: Yesterday, while looking for a pizzeria in Mantua, I went to "Croce Bianca". A welcoming place with a cheerful atmosphere and wonderful, high-quality pizza. I especially ordered the Saporita Extra. The staff was kind and very attentive to service, making me feel very comfortable. I recommend this place to everyone. ☺️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

09/03/2026: A wonderful experience! The lady makes ravioli in the window😊 We had crostini with Colonnata lard, which were fabulous!! Followed by a mix of crostini with truffle, tomato, liver, beans, and cavolo nero, and tomato puree. Meat tordelli with ragù and homemade ricotta and spinach ravioli with tomato sauce... truly delicious! We'll definitely be back 😍

Highlights included the rich mozzarella, a curated wine list🍷, and excellent service on the upper floor.🤵🏻 The decor is also lovely. Rating the Florentine steak 4 out of 5🥩

The price per dish was outrageous, precisely for the reasons mentioned above. The service was friendly but imprecise about the dishes displayed when ordering. I wouldn't return.

The service was attentive and professional, despite the crowds. The menu is well-curated, with excellent options for those seeking gluten-free or lactose-free dishes—a highly appreciated rarity. The dishes were elegantly presented, with attention to detail. A perfect choice for a special evening in Varese. We'll definitely be back!

02/01/2026: Delicious huge pizza just for 7,5 EUR. The prices are very good for Tuscany area, maybe because the town is not that touristic. We definitely recommend. We payed 25 EUR for two pizza's, water and 2 glasses of wine. Very filling, fastly done and the waiterress was very friendly and nice.

01/02/2026: Quick and friendly service, very good cured meats and cheeses, excellent roast potatoes, very good fried artichokes (not very greasy), excellent tagliolini with wild boar. Excellent crema catalana, tiramisu, and a jar of mascarpone and berries. Recommended!

The restaurant also offers cured meats, cheeses, and traditional Tuscan dishes, including Florentine steak. We love coming back often.

The service was a perfect dance: smiling, fast, and disarmingly kind, the staff made you feel immediately at home. But the real applause goes to the food. I ordered the Pici alla Dado, and when the dish landed on the table, the intense aroma of the sauce literally silenced our conversation. The texture of the pasta was masterful: that tough, rustic bite that contrasted beautifully with the enveloping softness of the sauce. "Finally, we're thinking," I commented to my companion after the first bite, as he happily cleared away his plate of gnocchi. The atmosphere, lined with historic family photos, is warm and lived-in, even if the space feels a bit cramped. So, everything perfect? ​​Almost. The only sour note holding me back from giving it my all was the house wine: in a region like Siena, I expected a red with more soul, but instead I found it flat and forgettable. A real shame, because with a glass worthy of it, it would have been an absolute triumph.
