02/06/2025: Wonderful place, very kind staff and really tasty dishes. I tried the pigeon and it was really fantastic. The one who was with me had the duck and it was the same. A guarantee to spend a lunch or dinner in full well-being..!!

06/06/2025: Dopo aver prenotato in questo ristorante ho dato una rapida occhiata alle recensioni piu' recenti dove ho potuto apprezzare sempre il plauso della clientela per la cucina pero' notando la rimostranza di una cliente per l'addebito eccessivo relativo ad una bottiglia di vino pregiato con una cifra non paragonabile al costo del cibo senza che cio' fosse indicato in precedenza al momento della proposta da parte del personale. Come mio solito non ho dato peso eccessivo alle recensioni negative isolate soprattutto per motivazioni cosi' particolari ma non ho potuto fare a meno di ricordarmi di questa singolare lamentela. Una volta recatomi sul posto ho apprezzato il locale e la cordialita'del personale ma ,al momento dell'ordinazione ho notato che a fronte della mia richiesta dalla carta di un vermentino locale mi e' stato servito un vino toscano di altra zona e di ben altro pregio spacciandolo per lo stesso vitigno anche se,come ho potuto controllare successivamente,trattasi di uvaggio piu' complesso. Ho pasteggiato con questo vino ,curioso di conoscere quanto mi sarebbe costata questa "divagazione",ricordandomi di quanto letto in precedenza, e alla fine di un peraltro ottimo pasto al momento del conto,come avevo supposto,mi sono trovato un costo quasi triplicato rispetto alla mia scelta iniziale. Non e' mio uso fare recensioni negative ma se errare e'umano......

05/06/2025: I booked Buca online ,doing everything without seeing to hold my wedding Dinner. Then 3 days before my wedding I flew out to see what a wonderful charming restaurant, in the heart of Lucca inside the walls. the staff went that extra mile to making my day complete by a last minute request for a wedding cake , they took the stress away and delivered an amazing cake to end the evening. The food was 5 star, we wre served with a perfection service .thank you for making my day perfect.

16/06/2025: Amazing! A chic family restaurant with magnificent decor. A calm and relaxed atmosphere. Unrivaled house wine. We had a wonderful evening. The service was impeccable. We chatted with the server, who gave us excellent recommendations in Florence, such as the gelato. I recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Italian food, quality service, and exquisite food.

15/06/2025: Really nice, well-kept, welcoming place. Helpful, professional, courteous staff. Excellent quality/price ratio. We ate well, drank well, conversed well, because the environment allowed for a very pleasant conviviality. Really recommended, to try and try again, as for me now after thirty years, always an excellent choice!

03/05/2025: Ci siamo tornati dopo tanti anni. La location ha preservato la sua atmosfera e la sua intimità, il menù è cambiato proponendo sempre piatti originali. Il servizio è come sempre attento e gentile. Il Prezzo un po’ eccessivo in assenza di sconti the fork. In ogni caso consigliato!

27/04/2025: Some dishes were excellent, others were a complete miss that bordered on inedible. The portions are small as they are trying to go for high cuisine, but the waitress did not let us know about it or advise us to get side dishes so it was a bit disappointing when the dishes arrived. The service was okay in terms of time but the waitress seemed annoyed with us, to the point we did not feel comfortable asking questions or letting her know about the dishes that were overcooked. In fact, at no point were we asked if our food was good or if the meal went well so the opportunity for this feedback to be provided in person was missed. I would not recommend this restaurant as it will not reliably provide a good meal for the entire table.

17/05/2025: Abbiamo pranzato in due di mercoledì, senza prenotazione. Il servizio è stato rapido, nonostante si sia completato in poco tempo. Abbiamo ordinato i crostini misti che ci sono stati serviti con il fornello per tenere al caldo le salsine, poi un primo di tortelli di magro conditi con burro e salvia, un filetto di maiale lardellato con una passata di mele, acqua ,due caffè . Tutto molto buono. Lo consiglio.

15/05/2025: I have been to the Antica Fonte restaurant several times with friends and relatives, and every time it is a pleasure. The food is excellent, the owners are welcoming and the staff is always kind and professional. The environment is well-kept and parking is easy to find nearby. A place that I recommend to everyone and where I will gladly return. Congratulations!

24/05/2025: Trovo che il Nacchero sia una garanzia se si vuole mangiare bene. Sono stato lì più di una volta. Tra cena o pranzo con colleghi o cenetta con mia moglie. Cucina toscana ottima. Posso parlare principalmente di antipasti e secondi che li ho provati quasi tutti. Personale molto cordiale. Insomma se voglio passare una cena ottimo in zona Firenze, Firenze sud sicuramente il Nacchero mi viene in mente. Ho portato anche amici e famigliari. Tutti contenti. Un giorno, nel caso l avessi, ci portò la ganza 😜

02/05/2025: We’ve traveled through Italy for the last 8 days, and this was our best dining experience. Aside from the food, our waiter Stefano was the highlight. He took his time & helped us with each food selection, then would follow up suggesting the perfect wine for our main course, & again for dessert. I was shocked out how inexpensive our bill was. I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough!

06/04/2025: What can I say, go there and you won't be disappointed, very good dishes, traditional in a certain sense but with truly spot-on variations on the theme. Right quantities, more than correct price for the quality offered, excellent service, relaxing environment. We will definitely be back on our next trip thank you

21/05/2025: I wanted to like the place - it was a decent hike up to get there, especially with a baby. However the fact that the lady working there was really insisting on tips when I was paying with my credit card (she even entered the tip amount herself after my first card didn't work and when I was trying to pay with another one) spoilt the experience. But the worst thing was that they added an extra 20 euro dish to our bill that we never ordered, which I only noticed later. I realized they never even gave me to see the bill properly and showed it from the distance before entering the amount into the machine, but I asked for the receipt after there was some issue with the payment, and looked at it only after we left. I called them and talked to the owner (I think) and asked to be reimbursed that amount. He first looked eager to send the amount back but after I told him I had a Canadian card and no IBAN, he disappeared and never reimbursed the amount. To be fair, the food was decent and the views are nice, although they were not allowing anyone to sit near the windows with the view since they are for those who made a reservation only (and they were all completely empty). So we couldn't even see the view from where we were seated. So be careful and check your bill!

07/06/2025: We really enjoyed the time and meals served in Forcillo. The meat menu was brilliant - especially we liked peposo and veal. Their dessert of almond cookies with cream is the best around. It was nice talking to the owner, learning how is the perspective of the ristorante owner. He was very modest as we were given some free of charge drinks and an olive oil. The waiter was freiendly, symphatic and had good English skills. We defenetely recommend this place of vibrant climate and good prices as well!

Florentine steak is beyond praise. But since it was a rainy Monday in May, we were the only guests in this restaurant. In fact, special service was done for us
