18/08/2024: Very pleasant service. But the bread was cut hours ago... (very dry) and the Tuscan soup was mixed. The pasta was good.

26/08/2024: Simply the best in Florence. The staff is very accommodating and kind, the dishes are tantalizingly tasty, and the wine is perfect. I highly recommend any of the pasta dishes, and the Florentine bistecca is the best in the city that I've had so far! And especially, the cheesecake is a must-try. Make sure to stop by when you're in Florence, you won't regret it!

24/08/2024: What a find! Typical trattoria in the center, under the Duomo and despite this with acceptable prices and generous portions (not quite like those of the trattorias outside the center but not even a pittance). Quality ingredients, fast and friendly service that made me feel at home. I didn't find it at all "touristy" in terms of prices, portions and authenticity. When I return to Florence I will definitely come here. An affectionate greeting "la Calabrese" (my new waiter friends in the dining room will understand). Ps. Absolutely try the cuddles served as traditionally, dry and light.

09/08/2024: A restaurant that has been frequented for some time now and I have always appreciated the level of service including the precious presence of the reception which offers assistance during the booking phase and entrance to the restaurant without distracting the dining room staff. The dishes based on fish and meat specialties from the Maremma are a delicacy. Another important aspect is that it is a structure organized to serve gluten-free dishes and people with celiac disease can enjoy delicious dishes. Preparation is necessary and I inform you that the restaurant, being inside the castle walls, can only be reached on foot. I recommend comfortable shoes for ladies.

06/07/2024: Perfect trattoria just outside the tourist zone. Popular with i Fiorintini, there were two separate families dining when I ate here. The panna cotte alla mente e caffe was exceptionally good. Prices are reasonable, around the €10 mark for primi.

24/08/2024: Da Benito has maintained an excellent level of quality over the years. Prices are reasonable, table service good. The menu is classic Tuscan without pretensions but of great quality. Recommended for all fat lovers!

30/08/2024: welcome appetizer of cured meats and cheeses (abundant considering it was for one person), 1.3kg of Florentine steak divided in two, a couple of salads to remove the fat, two coffees, two bottles of water. if you want to eat sitting down with the air conditioning, book a few days in advance, a suggestive environment and truly professional staff in managing the continuous influx of people.

Perfettamente riusciti; Pici (FATTI A MANO 🤩) con ragù di carne chianina, strepitosi!!! La Fiorentina di chianina cotta alla perfezione, morbida e gustosa 🔝. Eravamo indecisi sul vino, la signora con molta pazienza, ci ha consigliati e fatto assaggiare dei vini finché non abbiamo trovato quello di nostro gradimento. Personale gentile e molto disponibile! 23/08/2024: The food was dreadfull,in two out of four meals were inedible.We went there as it was advertised as a trip advisor venue.Really bland pasta dishes that I could have cooked better in my campervan and saved €148.

27/08/2024: Splendid place among the vineyards of Chianti, we have Eaten under the Veranda with an enchanting landscape. We took a 1.6kg Florentine steak, it was special! Informal but precise service. Average price. Definitely recommended!!

29/08/2024: Place recommended by taverns in Italy, a certainty, and in fact this time too it is confirmed. Professional service, with a smile and fast. Excellent pici all'aglione, grilled chicken with lemon, a delicacy. Good choice of wines. Generous portions, beautiful plating. I didn't get dessert but I saw some interesting ones passing by. Price in line with the local places, it is not a tourist place, it is really worth a visit, they deserve it for the quality of the place

16/08/2024: A nice discovery! A few tables inside and especially on the sidewalk opposite this delicatessen and wine merchant catering shop. It’s definitely fashion. Complete menu, specialties, meat, fish, pasta. We want to taste everything. Very good dishes. Fresh and tasty. Served hot and quickly. Very nice server. Excellent grilled and tender octopus. Crispy vegetable fritters. Very tasty local pork chops but way too salty. Too bad that's the only false note... Very good coffee. Generous portions. Prices in the low average for the city. Correct addition. We will come back to try the other dishes on the menu.

13/08/2024: Typical trattoria with pasta still prepared by mother. Precise and attentive service, correct waiting times. Traditional dishes all very good with adequate portions. Fair prices.

04/08/2024: I was a bit disappointed by this restaurant. It got such good reviews and we had seen the menu online. We chose the restaurant based upon the menu because we had some dietary restrictions. The menu at the restaurant was much smaller as they said they were closing for holiday the next day so their menu was much smaller. The bread was literally hard as a rock. The pasta was very Al-dente. The cheese plate was delicious but would be better if it had a few more pieces of fruit. The staff seemed a bit short with us but it could be just that we spoke no Italian. This was our most expensive meal and least favorite in the area.

04/08/2024: Really excellent meal with the family, the prices were appropriate for the quality; Unfortunately we had to wait a very, very long time for all courses, even though there was only another table for two next to us that had to be served

07/07/2024: A characteristic restaurant with typical Italian trattoria equipment and a beautiful view of the Prato Cathedral. The service is fast and kind. The menu contains typical dishes of the Prato and Tuscan tradition, cooked in a homely manner but with attention to quality. The portions are right and the flavors tasty like the good cuisine of the past. The pici cacio e pepe and the Milanese with anchovy as well as the potatoes under ashes are very good. We couldn't try the desserts because we were too full, we'll have to come back. The price surprised us favorably: just over 60 euros for two for a truly rich and abundant dinner in a very good location.
