Lunch in Bolgheri, with friends (and kids in tow), and we discovered a place that truly tastes of Tuscany: La Cantinetta di Bolgheri Osteria.
A generous platter of traditional cured meats—the kind you almost struggle to finish—and a delicious tagliata, cooked to perfection.
Excellent wine, chosen by us from the many local options (although we would have loved more advice from the staff).
The added bonus? A young and friendly team, a simple yet refined atmosphere, and a perfect outdoor veranda for enjoying lunch with friends.
Bolgheri is full of wonderful spots, but this is one of those places you always want to return to. For us, it's now a little must-have.

We were in Bolgheri on Easter Sunday, and even though we showed up at 2:00 PM, Davide welcomed us with kindness and courtesy. The dishes we chose were excellent, and the price was reasonable for the quality of the ingredients.

Excellent food, a very welcoming atmosphere, and friendly staff. The only thing I often don't understand, not so much for the financial aspect as for the practical aspect, is that you can't hear or see transactions involving €101.50, €90.50, etc. Rounding up to €100 and €90 isn't a financial disaster for the company, but rather a gesture appreciated by the customer.
