13/05/2026: After 4 days in Palermo this is the only restaurant our group of 4 agreed is a 10/10. We ordered over half of the menu between the 4 of us and every dish was amazing. So many places have great reviews and pictures but the taste doesnt live up to them. This restaurant did. Thank you to the staff for giving us one of the highlights of Palermo ❤️

01/04/2026: NOT RECOMMENDED. An hour's wait, in the cold, for a table booked two days in advance. We've changed pizzerias and won't be returning. Reserved Saturday, for three people, at 9:30 PM (second sitting?). We arrived, following the restaurant's advice, at 9:15 PM. They told us to wait because they were "setting up the tables." They asked us to wait outside, in the cold. 9:30 PM, nothing, but okay, that's fine. 9:50 PM, still nothing. They told us the table was "freezing up." We were in the cold but chatting: we could still wait. 10:10 PM, still outside in the cold and with no news. We decided to leave. 10:20 PM, the restaurant called us to let us know the table was ready. Only an hour late, despite the reservation. We were happy to leave our money at the nearby pizzeria. Also because, honestly, waiting an hour in the cold for a pizza like any other isn't worth it. A little more attention, perhaps a complimentary appetizer, would have been enough, and we would have happily waited. Spaurito, however, chose to ignore us completely, failing in his primary role: providing customer service.

16/05/2026: They really went above and beyond as far as service is considered. They're food was delicious. The pork is possible the best I've eaten. I'm not the biggest fan of seafood but both dishes they recommended were amazing.

19/05/2026: Pizzeria-restaurant located right in the city center. We tried both the pizza and the seafood dishes. Everything was very well cooked. The interior is very well-kept. Generous portions and excellent staff. A pleasant discovery 🔝

19/05/2026: The ambiance is okay, the restrooms aren't up to Central European standards, but they're clean. The food was absolutely fantastic. The prices were fair. Overall, highly recommended for a good lunch, especially if you arrive by ship. It's a short walk from the port and not overrun with tourists. Authentic and delicious cuisine.

The chef demonstrates remarkable culinary skill, showcasing each ingredient with great balance and sensitivity. The dishes arrive with meticulous attention to detail, prepared with technique and passion: authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and a presentation that respects tradition without sacrificing elegance. His experience and love for cooking are clearly evident, with recipes executed impeccably and with particular attention to the quality of the ingredients. Making the experience even more enjoyable is the dining room service, led by the restaurant manager, who is also the restaurant's owner and the chef's brother. He is extremely diligent, discreet, and professional, always present but never intrusive. His attention to the customer is evident in every gesture: from the care with which he accompanies guests throughout dinner to his willingness to recommend dishes and ensure every detail is perfect. This family-friendly synergy between the kitchen and dining room creates an authentic and welcoming atmosphere, where guests truly feel at the center of attention. 10/04/2026: Pretty good, but no antipasti buffet as advertised, and the chef quoted the price of the fish of the day at €24 per person, but when it came time to pay, it was 20% more on the bill... the portions are quite small, so I'd say it's good, but poor value for money.

04/04/2026: In the vibrant heart of Palermo. Surrounded by countless places for pre- or post-dinner drinks. The restaurant's atmosphere is reminiscent of times gone by. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Excellent menu with classic local and international selections. Fast, precise service with super friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback is that they don't have a wine list; you have to choose based on the owner's suggestions. Definitely worth a try.

12/05/2026: I'm only giving one star because you can't give less... pasta soaked in oil, no one takes care of what happened as if nothing had ever happened again.

The staff is very kind, attentive, discreet, and competent. I can only give it 5 stars... definitely worth a try and definitely coming back.

04/05/2026: Last night in Palermo and one of the best meals we’ve had in Sicily !! They made a special agli olio for me off the menu as I wanted a simple vegetarian meal. My partner ordered the salmon , he loved it. And the tiramisu was sooo good so fresh! Highly recommend
