10/04/2026: Delicious Sicilian cuisine! Excellent service, very welcoming place with traditional food and generous portions. A whole different level of Italian cuisine than we're used to. Highly recommended!

01/04/2026: NOT RECOMMENDED. An hour's wait, in the cold, for a table booked two days in advance. We've changed pizzerias and won't be returning. Reserved Saturday, for three people, at 9:30 PM (second sitting?). We arrived, following the restaurant's advice, at 9:15 PM. They told us to wait because they were "setting up the tables." They asked us to wait outside, in the cold. 9:30 PM, nothing, but okay, that's fine. 9:50 PM, still nothing. They told us the table was "freezing up." We were in the cold but chatting: we could still wait. 10:10 PM, still outside in the cold and with no news. We decided to leave. 10:20 PM, the restaurant called us to let us know the table was ready. Only an hour late, despite the reservation. We were happy to leave our money at the nearby pizzeria. Also because, honestly, waiting an hour in the cold for a pizza like any other isn't worth it. A little more attention, perhaps a complimentary appetizer, would have been enough, and we would have happily waited. Spaurito, however, chose to ignore us completely, failing in his primary role: providing customer service.

16/01/2026: The tuna was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, perfectly prepared and combined well with the pistachio and red onion. However, the swordfish was more bland, which was a shame. The desserts were fine. The staff was nicely friendly, but the restaurant was a bit on the expensive side. But the tuna was really good. <3

02/01/2026: Wonderful Sicilian food of the highest quality. Good selection across all three courses. Despite its prime location at Giardino Garibaldi, the prices are very reasonable. I had a superb artichoke caponata, see photo.

07/04/2026: A beautiful place...no frills...welcoming...everything is about the substance. Rather than "little wine," I'd call it "scarpet," because it's very difficult to consume any dish without dipping half a kilo of bread (which they make themselves and bake in a wood-fired oven)...even though it was Easter Sunday...no limited or mandatory menu...free ordering (well done!!)...abundant and well-prepared portions...only fresh fish (they refuse to serve frozen...well done!!)...prices in line with the industry...here, you can definitely taste that the fish comes from the sea (and not from cold storage)...I'd like to try both the meat and the pizzas...we'll see...

03/03/2026: Vitina Cucina e Pizza is a restaurant that my wife and I visited for the first time for her birthday. We must compliment the owners on setting the table with clean and appropriate tablecloths, and on offering a menu that was quite engaging, all seafood-based, from the first to the second course, with a wide selection of appetizers, both traditional and seafood-based. For those who didn't want to dine, there was also the option of pizza. So, regarding the food, I can confidently say that everything was excellent, using genuine, fresh ingredients. The appetizers were traditional: fried potatoes and potato croquettes, bruschetta with olive oil and cherry tomatoes. The first courses were generous, with delicious and flavorful fish toppings. The second courses were fried calamari and small fish, also abundant and excellent. Other guests chose different types of pizza, which were also excellent, especially the type of flour and the toppings, which were fresh and well-made. We're delighted to have chosen this restaurant in Vitina because it was recommended by a friend who had already enjoyed the delicacies at this establishment in Cinisi. As for the service, there's nothing to complain about; the staff is always available, welcoming, efficient, friendly, and professional. The atmosphere is quiet and clean, and the location is quite welcoming and comfortable. It's located not far from the town—just as you reach the only main traffic light, turning right toward the sea—about 200 meters on the left. It was definitely a good choice; we had a great time, the food was excellent, and it will be a reason to return.

07/04/2026: The arugula and ham pizza and the shrimp risotto were perfect. The pizza was crispy to perfection. A glass of red wine with each – what more could you want? Lovely atmosphere; we sat inside – early April. Very friendly and attentive service. We're leaving now, but we'd gladly come back again.

05/04/2026: A charming and welcoming place. Simple but well-prepared dishes; excellent ingredients. Dishes with bold flavors, both fish and meat. Excellent value. Service is spartan, but adequate. Polite and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

10/04/2026: Pretty good, but no antipasti buffet as advertised, and the chef quoted the price of the fish of the day at €24 per person, but when it came time to pay, it was 20% more on the bill... the portions are quite small, so I'd say it's good, but poor value for money.

04/04/2026: In the vibrant heart of Palermo. Surrounded by countless places for pre- or post-dinner drinks. The restaurant's atmosphere is reminiscent of times gone by. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Excellent menu with classic local and international selections. Fast, precise service with super friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback is that they don't have a wine list; you have to choose based on the owner's suggestions. Definitely worth a try.

11/04/2026: Nice restaurant for lunch or dinner. The food is simple but tasty. Price wise very reasonable. We shared a pasta and had one main dish per person. Arrosto palermitano is highly recommended

The staff is very kind, attentive, discreet, and competent. I can only give it 5 stars... definitely worth a try and definitely coming back.

04/04/2026: Rudeness to the max! We tried to book a table and were offered two times: either 7:45 PM with the table to be vacated by 9:30 PM, or a second sitting at 9:30 PM. We politely asked if we could have the table at 8:30 PM since we had a diabetic with us, and were rudely told no, so we ended up booking at 7:45 PM. In the afternoon, we contacted the restaurant, telling them that four of us would be coming because the diabetic had health problems, and our reservation was completely canceled, as this restaurant only accepts reservations for five people. The absurd thing is that we were literally told we could wait in line until a table became available, and the phone was rudely hung up on us. Ah, some restaurateurs should learn to be polite before having contact with the public! Failed on all fronts!

04/01/2026: A really nice place, on a side street off the main promenade, so it's quiet and atmospheric. The food is very good. One of the nicest restaurants we've been to in Palermo. The service is very friendly and professional. Good wine selection. Everything is fresh and tasty.

16/04/2026: Superb — one of the best dinners we had in Palermo. We had the sardine spaghetti and the fried pasta for the primi, and both were fantastic. The waiter was incredibly calm, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. For dessert, we tried the cassata and the cannoli, and both were amazing. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience, and we would definitely recommend this place. The only small comment is that the bread could be better, preferably made with lievito madre.

15/04/2026: We went on Easter Sunday. The menu was intriguing, and the prices, compared to those in the north, were decidedly attractive. The restaurant is very beautiful and welcoming. We were impressed by the quality of the dishes, a rare treat with over 100 diners spread across the two rooms. The service was impeccable. The fish was the star, decidedly fresh and presented with great care. The dessert was also excellent. I recommend it!

20/03/2026: A welcoming, family-run restaurant with excellent service and excellent food. The only downside is that it's not well signposted. I highly recommend it.

15/02/2026: As a starter I ordered raw fish and it was fresh, I also ordered bruschetta with sea urchins and they were also good, it was a shame about the pasta I ordered which was salty, undercooked and cold, the salty bill was not up to the dinner's standard.
