08/05/2025: A block off the main drag, this lovely restaurant is a hidden gem. It is an unpretentious, family-run place. We had an inventive and delicious seafood-focused dinner; truly excellent!
It was made more delightful by our gregarious host. He speaks perfect English, but helped us practice our Italian which was a lot of fun. He shared the family story, introduced us to his brother, the chef, and his wife who shares front-of-house duties.
07/05/2025: We have just spent an incredible evening accompanied by delicious cuisine from a great chef!
Everything was neat and the support from our server was more than perfect. A passionate person who knew how to guide us in our choices.
Thank you again, we had a wonderful evening.

07/05/2025: The starter was excellent (caponata). The second swordfish was a little overworked. Instead of bread they brought us a kind of pizza made by them. The times are rather quick and in any case no one asks you to get up if you stay and talk to the diners. Overall very satisfied.

24/04/2025: Very good pizzas, apart from the pan pizza which traditionally should be greasy and almost fried underneath, but this one was dry and undercooked, almost like bread. Takes a little long just to bring the drinks. But the place is welcoming and the pizzas are really very good.

05/04/2025: I haven't been so satisfied in a long time. Absolutely fantastic appetizer - mussels with gorgonzola and then the main course - spaghetti with mussels. It was a chef's concept of a concert. I highly recommend it to everyone!!!

23/05/2025: Nabij de haven gelegen Restarant met terrras, uitgekozen op basis van de reviews. Ontvangst was netjes. Via de ar code - menukaart - gekozen voor vis- goulash (deze was lekker) en lamskotelet - alleen vet, bijna geen vlees en teruggegeven. Keuken gaf aan dat een nieuw stukje lamskotelet er het zelfde uit zou zien en dus voor een ander gerecht gekozen: rundvlees. Was iets beter, maar het vlees zat deels vol met zenen, jammer! Na een dessert en een koffie, enigzins teleurgesteld vertrokken. We hadden er meer van verwacht. Prijs/ kwaliteit is redelijk.

07/05/2025: I celebrated my daughters' communion and if you want to stay in an intimate place and if you want to eat very well I recommend you go to Sapurito, the service, the friendliness... and I forgot the portions are also generous.

Service, organization, kindness, customer care and quality of food, everything needed to leave a pleasant memory of a convivial moment for such an important milestone! We were in this enchanting restaurant in 9 people and we decided to rely on the advice of the staff in everything and for everything. Tasting menu and superlative wine pairing!!!
I hope to be able to return to Palermo and to Osteria Ballarò soon!
11/05/2025: Nice place and elegant atmosphere, I find the menu a bit pretentious and high-sounding, but then in the end the dishes don't have that interesting twist that they promise, fettuccine Bouillabaisse tasted of tomato, despite the abundant seasoning, I don't understand how a place like this works without fish stock or shellfish bisque, in any case similar situation with the desserts. So summary of the evening, it's not what you sell but how you sell it, and they are masters at this, here for me appearances matter more than substance.

10/05/2025: Excellent from every point of view. And every time there are delicious new things on the menu. The best place to eat in the province of Palermo. Try it to believe it!
25/04/2025: Food was super creative, unconventional without being absurd. We ordered individual dishes rather than the tasting menu. The risotto and anchovy ravioli were two standout dishes, but everything was delicious. They supplement the main courses with small interludes of tasty bites. Even though the ordered portions are small, enough gets brought to the table to make it a very fulfilling meal.
Service was immaculate, attentive and professional without being intrusive. Prices are fair considering the quality and originality. The place is tucked into an unexpected neighborhood and Google Maps may send you the long way around to get there, but we were happy we went.

se volete cenare senza la confusione di quella via questo è il locale adatto
posti all'interno ma anche in gazebo esterno (forse meno indicato dato che risulta nel parcheggio della piazzetta)
materia prima eccellente (anche con pescato del giorno)
buonissime le polpette con sarde con sugo ( spaziali)
busiate con vongole e gamberi buonissime e anche tante e con pesce freschissimo e trattato con molta delicatezza
personale attento e gentile
prezzi nella media se consideriamo la qualità dei prodotti direi rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo

25/05/2025: Abbiamo scoperto il locale su suggerimento del gestore del beb in cui soggiornavamo. Locale carino accogliente personale disponibile professionale ed attento al cliente. I piatti risultano di ottima qualità lavorati con prodotti freschi e abbondanti che esaltano i sapori, vasta scelta di mare e di terra anche se noi abbiamo preferito mare. Prezzo all’altezza della qualità del cibo La nostra soddisfazione è stata tale che abbiamo fatto il bis. Lo consigliamo vivamente
