17/05/2026: Delicious food, but be careful when paying. They don't give you a receipt and try to overcharge you. They literally tried to charge us 3 different prices, only the last one was according to the price list. Apologized each time, but it's not a coincidence.

19/05/2026: Initially thinking of eating pizza but we walked by this beautiful place and decided to try it out. In short, pure ingredients, lovely sweetvl oranges, fresh fennel in the salad, gnocchi that is actually light and easy to eat and my pasta was so smooth... lastly, the chocolate and pistachio dessert was delicious and texture wise on point. Only one dissonant, it took quite awhile to get our our orders to the table... and it was definitely not busy. Still, highly recommended.

10/05/2026: The catch of the day was absolutely remarkable: a grouper cooked to perfection, exceptionally fresh. The pink shrimp and scorpionfish sashimi were outstanding! The wine was unique and worth cellaring. A true discovery to share.

05/07/2026: Lovely place with very friendly staff!! We ordered the sardine pasta, aubergine pasta, seafood pasta and the meatballs, which were delicious!! Definitely recommend, located on a lovely street.

18/06/2026: Awful. Mediocre food, incredibly slow and difficult-to-understand service, and quite expensive prices. It's a very large place with plenty of staff, but nobody goes there; there was only one other table besides ours all night.

14/06/2026: Calamari was over cooked, starred at a parking lot, waiter was over charging on things we didn’t order, brought food we didn’t order and charged us, group of 6 of us, brought a platter of 2 fish, some prawns, 3 squid over cooked, charged us $456 EURO, which is $736 CAD, for over cooked food, steak was a thin fried steak, not worth it, pasta carbonara was a 2/10. Don’t recommend unless you feel like being over charged on over cooked fish. Bathroom, had no toilet seat, see through door where you can see people undress, no paper towels to wipe your hands , dirty.

13/07/2026: The restaurant has a lovely, interesting, and typically Sicilian ambiance. Unfortunately, neither the food, the hospitality, nor the value for money truly impressed us. My partner ordered a squid salad as a starter. Unfortunately, it contained several pieces of gristle and she didn't like it at all. Later, we bought a ready-made squid salad at Lidl, which she personally found much tastier. I had a Parmigiana as a starter. It was about the same as what you'd get in many other average and inexpensive restaurants. I'm not a chef and only taught myself to cook in the last few years. Even so, I personally prefer my homemade Parmigiana. Especially in Sicily, I had expected a Parmigiana that would be something special in terms of flavor. For the main course, my partner ordered pasta con le sarde. While it wasn't bad, it didn't really win us over. My partner, who isn't Italian, by the way, makes an Italian pasta at home that we both find much more delicious. I also had pasta with eggplant. It wasn't bad, but it didn't reach the level I would have expected from a restaurant in this price range. So why should we eat at an upscale restaurant and pay exorbitant prices when we can cook better Italian food at home? The service was correct, but it felt very distant. We missed the warmth and hospitality we would have expected in a Sicilian restaurant – both from the staff and the owner who took our order. The warmth and hospitality we've experienced in many other restaurants in Sicily were sadly lacking here. As a result, we didn't feel truly comfortable during our entire visit. The value for money is not good. Given the prices, we had significantly higher expectations for the quality of the food.

12/07/2026: A typical Palermo trattoria, somewhat off the beaten tourist track. Definitely worth a try.

17/07/2026: When we arrived, we were thinking of dining inside. When I saw the empty room, we were told that the table was outside. To my great surprise, I found tables set with simplicity, taste, and originality, located in a small courtyard created on a closed-off road adjacent to the restaurant. The owners were very kind and helpful, as were all the staff who served us. Everything was delicious. Some friends had pizzas and others had first courses. The ingredients were of excellent quality. Compliments also for the dessert. We'll see you again soon. Keep it up, thanks until next time! 🤗

05/04/2026: Excellent food, excellent staff, and excellent service. Really good pizzas. I haven't finished a pizza in years; I found it truly delicious and balanced. The staff is very kind, attentive, discreet, and competent. I can only give it 5 stars... definitely worth a try and definitely coming back.

20/03/2026: Enjoyed a couple of the appetizers including the capponata and the fried cheese; both were very flavorful and enjoyed by everyone. The entrees arrived a little out of sync with one another but the pasta with red mullet was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty.

20/03/2026: Really good and authentic Italian food made from simple and fresh ingredients with a nice wine selection to accompany the meals. So good we ate there twice!

09/06/2026: I have dietary restrictions (no gluten, no corn, no pork). I was lucky to find this place. I explained my situation and they found a meal for me. They cooked a delicious risotto dish, plus salad. It was worth the price. The owner is an amazing and beautiful woman, I have a lot of respect for a woman owned business. The atmosphere’s was calm, with good energy. I will definitely go back.

08/06/2026: It was our most expensive dinner, we paid around €100 and the food was not good at all. The wine is good and interesting, but the food is not so good… maybe they are better at fish dishes. Anyway, I don't understand why they have such a good rating, the toilets looked terrible, there were few people there, the waitress was interested and offered expensive things and didn't answer direct questions but I can praise her for her effort. But it's definitely not the best place in Palermo and I recommend any other restaurant but this one. AND BROWN WINE GLASSES WHAT IS IT!?!?! AND SHE IS LIING IN THE COMMENTS THAT SHE NEVER SAW ME 🤣🤣🤣🤣

23/07/2025: Cibo di ottima qualità, personale gentile e ambiente accogliente e raffinato. Abbiamo consumato un primo e un secondo cadauno, tempi di attesa ragionevoli, pulizia, cortesia e qualità.

30/06/2025: In zona centrale, entriamo per puro caso, ambiente accogliente, accolti un sorriso, prendiamo due pizze (dai nomi legati alla tradizione letterale sicula). Che dire: fantastiche. Ottima farcitura, impasto soffice e leggero (sinonimo di una adeguata lievitazione), leggera alveatura, cornice elastica e pronta al ritorno. Veramente buone, complimenti. Servizio rapido, prezzi nella norma. Bellissima esperienza.

11/07/2026: "Bye Bye Blues" had been on my list to visit for a few years due to its positive reviews. Our visit certainly lived up to those expectations. It is a lovely, small, and quiet restaurant with pleasant service. We opted for the Italian menu with wine pairings; the food—as well as the accompanying wines—surpassed all expectations. In terms of quality, the food rivals that of a one-star Michelin restaurant. Top-notch.

09/06/2026: This turned out to be the best restaurant for us mamas and grandmas with our 2 little kiddos! We couldn’t believe when we walked in and saw they had turtles for the kids to look at - and they gave us a huge table to accommodate us comfortably. Then the food started coming…the pizza bread and olive oil they brought out was divine but don’t fill up on it! The steak was wonderful, the pizza diavolo was spicy and delish…everything was a hit. Yummmmm!
