03/04/2024: The cuisine holds its own compared to other restaurants in Palermo, in addition to being a bit revisited. But disaster, the really unpleasant service puts you off the meal. Like a feeling of annoying them more than anything else. After 40 minutes of waiting to be able to order despite calls and reminders, the dishes arrive disdainfully thrown away. Let's eat quickly and leave! We will never dare to ask why other customers are entitled to bread and olives as indicated by the name of the restaurant and not us. They must not have liked our face.

03/04/2024: Food was not bad but the service was quite honestly bad. Waitresses were insanely slow and not nice, the place is called Pane e Alivi and we were the only table not to get bread and olives, we had to ask twice and got only bread bur were charged for the olives as well. Do not recommend, many other places to eat in Palermo instead

27/03/2024: This morning we had breakfast in this bar, after the 9am Mass in the church, practically opposite. The arancini are excellent with both meat and butter, they make other types, but at the moment they were finished... the calzones were also good, but nothing special, even if they cost €2.30 at this price, I also ate some gourmet. There are tables outside so you can eat on site. They also sell cigarettes inside.

15/02/2024: Locale consigliato dall'albergatore dove abbiamo soggiornato, molto carino all'apparenza e con camerieri gentili ed educati, peccato che per 2 antipasti (uno di mare e uno di terra), due primi di mare (di cui uno fuori menu), 1 caffè, 1 amaro e 1 litro di acqua abbiamo speso 85 euro!!! Decisamente troppo, soprattutto per il fatto che abbiamo aspettato 45 minuti fra gli antipasti ed il primo. Inoltre, mentre gli antipasti erano buonissimi, i primi sono stati passabili. Magari il fatto che fosse San Valentino e che fossimo turisti hanno inciso sul salasso finale.

16/02/2024: Eravamo 12 commensali sistemati in un ottimo tavolo rotondo che consente una buona conversazione. Abbiamo preso tutti cibi differenti e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Il servizio celere ed efficiente. Non frequentavo il locale da alcuni decenni e posso confermare che è di uno standard superiore, adesso è il figlio del titolare che gestisce l'attività e lo fa egregiamente perché il frutto cade sotto il ramo.

31/03/2024: A great address in Palermo. The decoration suggests an authentic farm in the countryside. The cuisine is generous, as is the service. The employees have a smile, the service is fast. I had a calzone and it was really good!

02/04/2024: I eat far too little for 10 euros, bacon was only one piece and toast was only a mini piece

02/04/2024: I arrived with my friends 20 minutes before the kitchen opened and immediately requested to order food when it did. We simply ordered wine and waited for the kitchen to open. Later, a waitress came to us; I asked for the menu. After half an hour, she brought the menu and never returned to take our order. When we tried to get her attention, she said someone else would assist us. We were literally ignored. There's insufficient staff in the restaurant, and they lack a proper system for allocating work among them. This is a 0; I've never felt so humiliated and disappointed before.👎

11/02/2024: It's a shame there isn't the possibility of giving zero stars, after having booked and arrived from Palermo to Bagheria we were "welcomed" at the door of the restaurant and dismissed by saying that the dog couldn't enter because the cook, i.e. the mother, is terrified of dogs. . We left and will never return. Some advice to the Lady, if you are afraid of dogs, don't leave the kitchen, after all, they are there to cook! !!
