05/05/2025: I absolutely do not recommend this place. I ordered a burger which arrived practically raw inside – the meat was falling apart, cold and tasted terrible. After a few hours I started to have a stomach ache, which says a lot about the quality or cooking. Even though I reported the problem to the staff, they still charged me as if everything was normal. The place may look inviting, but the quality of the food and the treatment of the customers are outrageous. Avoid it at all costs – your health and money deserve better.

05/05/2025: Spectacular pastas, the babà with rum, cream and strawberries is nothing short of sensational, strictly with freshly squeezed orange juice. Excellent quality even for a quick lunch, swordfish carpaccio, Venere rice, arancina with meat sauce or cheese are really good but there is also much more. Very chaotic and noisy environment but the staff is friendly and helpful.

25/04/2025: Siamo passati a mangiare le Arancine prima di ripartire per Roma, ottime sia nel sapore che nella consistenza,croccanti e morbide internamente. Abbiamo preso due classiche con carne e una ai funghi con besciamella, veramente gustose. Passateci,non ve né pentirete.

27/04/2025: Terrible management of events, booked a communion for early May, made arrangements and sent a deposit, only today and by pure chance it was discovered that we would have had to share the room with other people, I think this is information that should be given immediately. It's a shame because the place is worth it and the food is good, maybe they should organize themselves better or hire someone who understands

17/05/2025: The best part is sitting on the veranda above the surf. The food was excellent, from fish to veal fillet and side dishes. The typical Sicilian desserts were also very good. Highly recommended.

03/05/2025: Great choice of fresh fish dishes well prepared and served in front of the table. Seafood focus overall. Very friendly, attentive service.Bread is not good, considering we are in Italy, grissini in supermarket plastic packaging is not acceptable in a restaurant with so much history and potential, which positions itself as a place for authentic Sicilian cuisine.

02/06/2025: Avevamo prenotato per le 21, siamo arrivarti alle 20, 50, ci hanno fatto accomodare e fino alle 21, 20 non si è fatto vedere nessuno neanche per chiedere se volessimo dell’acqua. Innervositi ci siamo alzati è siamo andati via. Egregi signori, ci vuole più rispetto per il cliente. Il ristorante non è solo un modo per guadagnare, ma un luogo di convivialita’ e condivisione.

02/06/2025: Location molto carina, sul centralissimo corso Vittorio Emanuele. Molto affollato, piuttosto rumoroso. Molta clientela internazionale. Servizio sommario e poco curato. Buona la pasta con le sarde e il tonno alla griglia, così come la caponata. Il vino bianco di Occhipinti definitivamente da non mettere neppure nella carta della più modesta osteria. Buono ma … no wow

18/05/2025: Caro, pero excepcional en todos los sentidos! El menú degustación de cinco platos con maridaje de vinos fue fabuloso! El servicio era amable e impecable. El ambiente tranquilo y al aire libre mostró Italia en su mejor momento.

09/05/2025: Avevo tanto sentito parlare negli anni passati, e anche bene, di questo ristorante. Arrivati puntali relativamente alla prenotazione, ci viene subito dato il tavolo e il menù. La cameriera prende la comanda, dopo di che comincia l’attesa. Nel locale erano presenti una comitiva di turisti, con accompagnatori, una coppia e il nostro tavolo. Comincia l’attesa durante il quale vediamo passare prima i primi e poi i secondi del tavolo della comitiva di turisti…. Attendiamo 18 minuti l’arrivo dell’antipasto, interpellata sull’attesa la cameriera risponde “stanno preparando per voi”. Passano altri 10 minuti e arriva il fantomatico antipasto. Un piatto di polpette di melenzane al sugo, dove le melanzane erano ancora dall’ortolano, si sentiva solo la mollica di pane (insipide), e un misto fritto caldo, composto da patatine “fatte in casa”croccanti e un po’ salate, arancinette ai tenerumi il cui riso sapeva solo di aglio…. Alle 13:35 inizia un ulteriore attesa per il secondo, durata 10 minuti, nel mentre vediamo passare frutta e dolce della comitiva di cui sopra. Alle 13:45 arrivano finalmente i 3 piatti di frittura di calamaro: patatine di contorno chips ghiacciate, calamari freddi e gommosi (se li faccio a casa in friggitrice ad aria vengono più croccanti!!!) serviti con una salsa, a carattere turistico, e non limone. Abbiamo dovuto chiederlo. Chiaramente il ristorante ormai si è assestato su un target turistico, anche il personale senza lode e senza infamia. Esperienza da non ripetere.
