22/01/2024: se si guarda più alla quantità che alla qualità, va bene. Io guardo la qualità e di tutto quello che ti portano a tavola, abbiamo apprezzato poche cose, il resto è sotto la media.
14/12/2023: Suggerito dal posteggiatore, il ristorante Temptation si è rivelato una ottima scelta! Confesso che se avessi dovuto farmi guidare dal nome forse non ci sarei andato, invece abbiamo mangiato benissimo! Non sapevamo che la cena si compone di un menù parzialmente fisso (si possono scegliere i secondi dopo un "fisso" di antipasti e primi). Il sig. Enzo ci ha accolto con molta cordialità; abbiamo scelto di saltare i primi e di prendere il secondo (filetto di orata al pistacchio e triglie al forno, buonissime!) dopo una serie strepitosa di antipasti! Abbiamo preso il vino proposto dalla casa, un Grillo più che onesto.
E' certamente diverso da certi ristoranti di grido, ma la qualità del cibo è stata eccellente, con una bella attenzione per i sapori.
Infine, il conto ci ha sorpreso perchè ero convinto di spendere molto di più. Davvero un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!

Not satisfactory for the price paid.
Little quantity on the plates, lack of special products on a holiday, such as lobster unfortunately.
And raw pasta, more than al dente
Overpriced wine, we took the white because the red was unthinkable.
Average service, they could ask you if we liked coffee or liqueurs..
We wanted to leave a tip but we didn't even have time to say the rest.
I'm sorry because the place was nice and had a nice view.
We paid too much, spent 180 euros between three of us without even a second..
Honestly, even on festive days, with much less you can eat divinely.

12/05/2024: Once we arrived in Palermo they dragged us to this "restaurant" where the only positive thing is the proximity to other more interesting places. sitting at the tables we found dirty cutlery with grains of rice embedded in it which must have been there since 15/18, we were pleased to find them as a little surprise. They served us a fluorescent red pasta full of so much raw pepper that it stuck in our throats and stuck between our teeth. Furthermore, while we were "eating" (we watched with disgust, seeing how disgusting this pasta was), this massacre of pasta was a gentleman with a mocking smile. he recorded us minors being terribly embarrassed by that dish, also focusing on some girls. Furthermore, very serious unhygienic behavior was observed, i.e. putting the pasta left by customers back into a single large plate to serve it again. I'd say that's enough to see the level of service and food

03/11/2023: Fantastic views over Chefalu bay. The food was exceptional and we were offered adjustments to suit tastes/size of diners.
11/10/2023: We have enjoyed an amazing lunch and an even more amazing dinner at osteria Bacchus this week while staying in a villa in cefalu. Seated on a cliff overlooking the ocean, this family owned and run restsurant delivers one of the most authentic, delicious eating experiences of our 5 weeks in sicily! The fresh fish fileted tableside is so tender, flaky and delicious. Everything (especially the fish) is so fresh. They made fish and pistachio pasta with the fish remaining on the bones (of course no bones when it's served) which was served with fresh tomatoes and pistachios and was one of the most delicious pastas we've all ever had!! It's an 8 minute drive from cefalo in the charming hillside town of Saint ambrogio.. BEST MEAL IN 5 WEEKS IN SICILY! (And ridiculously inexpensive...dinner for 6 with 4 bottles of wine was less than 200 euro). If you want to taste the real deal head to Osteria Bacchus.

02/04/2024: I was at your restaurant for lunch and I ordered a Margherita pizza which I found special and delicious. It is not an easy pizza to make, in my opinion, like other pizzas because just a few ingredients are enough to make it palatable and I found them just right. It was truly a "lady" pizza. A compliment to the staff for their courtesy and to the pizza chef. I will definitely come again. W mondello and the Calogero restaurant.
