13/08/2025: AVOID THIS PLACE, FORGOTTEN BY GOD AND HONESTY, THEY WILL DISAPPOINT YOU BIG TIME...!!! We stopped in Palermo for a memorable evening in this place known many years ago, where you would queue for hours to get in, where we met the parents and even the grandparents of the current manager...... And where the dishes were exquisite...!! Our disappointment, regret and displeasure was enormous.. The empty place, the tables without tablecloths, at the table only the children and grandchildren of the manager... We asked for a glass of wine and he showed up with a bottle of "Intrigato", he "recommended" some indefinable cod and octopus appetizers, served in two mini bowls and spaghetti with squid ink obviously diluted with water who knows how many times... We didn't have the heart to tell him that the food served was truly pitiful, in fact worse..but only for the memory of his poor ancestors.. When it was time to pay the manager however asked us with shameless arrogance 90 euros!!!! Ninety euros!!!! For 2 mini appetizers and 2 plates of spaghetti!!! The bottle of Intrigato 26 euros!!!! His ancestors, grandparents, parents will be turning in their graves for this blatant affront to common sense, an offense to all honest restaurateurs of Palermo, but above all an offense to the exceptional renowned Sicilian culinary art that tonight has suffered a bad blow from this improvised and dishonest menage of self-styled "restaurateurs".. We are sorry dear "owner" ... but you really asked for it with your disrespectful behavior for your ancestors ... and for us!! Anna and Antonino

31/07/2025: Man merkt schnell, dass das Personal sich auf das schnelle Abwickeln von Touristen versteht. Haben das Tasting Menu probiert à 55 Euro pro Person. Auch weil das Restaurant vom Guide Michelin empfohlen wird. Hat sich gemäss unserer Erfahrung nicht gelohnt. Es war nicht schlecht, aber definitiv auch nicht gut. Weil die Atmosphäre und der Service dann eben auch an Tourismus erinnern und nicht authentisch waren, lohnt sich ein Abend im Buatta nicht.

24/08/2025: Lunch with a breathtaking view!! We had seafood lunch, everything was truly delicious... the gluten-free option was sublime, I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could!! The food, kindness, and location were top notch!

23/08/2025: A very nice experience. We ate on the terrace during an evening with waves, the view was even more exceptional. The waiters were all very friendly and professional. The food was delicious, a wide choice, fresh daily menus. I had the Busiate with Swordfish, there were good pieces of swordfish. The tiramisu is the best I have eaten so far in Italy. I am delighted.

23/07/2025: Cibo di ottima qualità, personale gentile e ambiente accogliente e raffinato. Abbiamo consumato un primo e un secondo cadauno, tempi di attesa ragionevoli, pulizia, cortesia e qualità.

30/06/2025: In zona centrale, entriamo per puro caso, ambiente accogliente, accolti un sorriso, prendiamo due pizze (dai nomi legati alla tradizione letterale sicula). Che dire: fantastiche. Ottima farcitura, impasto soffice e leggero (sinonimo di una adeguata lievitazione), leggera alveatura, cornice elastica e pronta al ritorno. Veramente buone, complimenti. Servizio rapido, prezzi nella norma. Bellissima esperienza.

18/05/2025: Panino con panelle mangiato a Piazza Indipendenza Panino 🍔 ridotto di quantità sembrava un bocconcino della sfornata di mattina anche lui ha attuato la Shrinkflation . Da palermitano delusione.

24/07/2025: Cutting through between the main streets and found this reasonably priced restaurant. Had a great bowl of spaghetti francescana which gad thick gloupy sauce. Wife thought she getting a small starter of chicken wings. She received a slate plate with chicken stripes with dips etc. There was enough for 2 persons

03/08/2025: Despite enjoying the food, the service was absolutely terrible. I understand the staff may be tired of dealing with people, but perhaps it’s time to change jobs. The bearded man with glasses blatantly overcharged me twice yesterday. He charged more than the menu price, was rude, threw the bill on the table, and responded very aggressively. Come on!! what will you do without customers? I sincerely cannot recommend this place because of such treatment, although the other waiters were adequate I came to have dinner alone because it was my birthday. But being a woman dining alone does not mean you can treat me this way. Dear guests, especially women, please be cautious and avoid this place when in Palermo!

20/07/2025: Molto conosciuto in città, ma non abbiamo ritrovato la qualità che ci aspettavamo… Nel complesso si è mangiato discretamente, ma il proprietario è scontroso, unica nota positiva il prezzo accessibile.

05/05/2025: Ci siamo capitati per caso dopo aver visto un video su tictok.Mangiato in 2 io e la mia signora. Spezzatino e parmigia buonissimi davvero! io un Primo busiate a raguttino di pesce che è stato uno spettacolo. Capitato per visitare palermo che non avevo mai visto. siamo della versilia. Domani ci torno per assaggiare altre piatti perché ne sono rimasto particolarmente colpito. Anche i cameri gentilissimi e pronti a regalarti un sorriso.

10/08/2025: We went three hours ago, we wanted to sit down for a drink, we asked for fries to go with it and were told they didn't have any food, so we just ordered drinks. We were asked if we just wanted drinks... And of course I got impatient, the owner told us we could leave. Fine, we left. Rudeness and rudeness. I definitely won't recommend it to anyone I know. Shame. Rude.

18/06/2025: It was plesent and clean in a good location. Prices weren't to bad. But the food was very average. Nothing to right home about. There are better restaurants 2 mind away. Wouldn't bother going back. Probably better for the unadventurous eater.

14/06/2025: Volendo cambiare rispetto alle solite scelte per cui optiamo in occasione di pranzi e cene a Sferracavallo, dietro consiglio abbiamo deciso di provare Temptation, e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. Rispetto alla media delle offerte "menù fisso", c'è possibilità di scelta del secondo (peraltro molto buono) ed a livello di antipasti c'è molta più varietà (menzione per le arancine, buonissime). Servizio rapido come ci si aspetta, ma per nulla opprimente ed anzi molto premuroso e professionale! Rapporto qualità prezzo nella media!
