29/06/2025: The Eremiti di Sicilia tavern is a nice restaurant that you will find in the alleys of old Palermo, a few steps from the church of San Giovanni degli Eremiti, a Norman jewel. We had busiate alla norma, revisited with the addition of a burattina. The dish is pleasant but I would have remained faithful to the traditional recipe. The mezzepccheri alla trapanese are very good. The roast alla palermitana is good.

17/07/2025: We had a great experience here! We ordered 2 pastas, 1 with squid ink, and another one was clams garlic spaghetti 🍝 The dishes were so good that we wished to order one more, unfortunately we were too full. The staffs there were so friendly and nice that one of them, Paolo who served our table offered us 2 free limoncellos. I’d definitely come back again next time I visit Sicily!

15/06/2025: A friend recommended this nice cosy restaurant to us. We were happy to heed his suggestion. Delicious home-cooked food. Great and friendly service from the owner down to the staff. We were attended to by Elena, who did a great job patentl patiently introducing us to the Sicilian specialities at the restaurant. We had never tried such dishes and enjoyed them very much. A must, in my humble opinion, for anyone wishing to try something different from the usual Italian fare. (Again, this is my personal opinion.)

13/06/2025: We had amazing food and a great dining experience at this fantastic gem in the heart of Pisa. We reserved the day before and were able to book a lovely corner table within the resteraunt. Gregorio was a great host to us all evening, despite the rest of the restaurant being full with a large party; he and the kitchen handled it with ease and it made for a great, cosy atmosphere. The food was divine; each course was beautifully presented with superb flavours and clearly a lot of thought gone into them. I could've eaten our pasta course over and over..! We have eaten in many fine dining restaurants and this was right up there with the best, which is remarkable value despite its city centre location just a short walk from the Tower. Do yourself a favour; plan a day or two ahead, reserve a table here and avoid all the tourist trap diners along the main street. You will get an amazing meal, great laid back dining experience which makes you feel right at home, eating top class food from a great menu, with an extensive wine list that all proves to be great value as well. What more could you want..?

15/06/2025: I'm sorry I can only give 5 stars! We came to Amelia because we like to visit small towns... we thought it would be cooler than Rome but it seems warmer... anyway at the Locanda del Conte you are nice and cool! We found a fairytale setting, romantic, with attention to detail and beautiful music in the background! Prepared and kind waiters and excellent, beautiful and tasty dishes! Everything is superlative and we will definitely be back!!! Congratulations

13/06/2025: Truly splendid. Impeccable welcome, characterized by a trait that knows how to pleasantly combine sobriety and cordiality (almost an oxymoron that few can do: non omnibus datum). Elegant environment, superlative food: not a flavor that did not combine exquisite taste with some peculiar refinement of its own. Mixed bruschetta, pistachio ravioli, lemon sorbet, surprising to say the least. I will not repeat the trite phrase: we will definitely return because it is simply obvious.

13/07/2025: Beautiful restaurant and amazing dinner. We had the meat sauce tagliolini and sage butter raviolis. Would recommend both along with the arranchini and caprese salad. Everything was so fresh and the complimentary bread was probably the best bread I’ve had in Italy!! Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Ortigia. Staff are lovely too :)

05/07/2025: Truly a pleasant surprise, the staff are all very kind and attentive to the diners, the food is of excellent quality, I recommend you try the raw seafood if you like it, the environment is very nice and nice, the only flaw is where it is located, that is, on the side of a road.... the price is right for the quality served

Everything was delicious, like a good Latina whose mother is a chef 🧑‍🍳 The seasoning of all the dishes was excellent. The area where the restaurant is located is a little scary because of all the graffiti! But everything was good! Thank you for the good service! 🫶🌷 Thank you Milan Italy!! We love you all!

08/07/2025: Food very good, but service very pushy/assertive on diners ordering most expensive items. I felt like we were over-charged. We were 11 in total. We ordered a 25th wedding anniversary cake only to find that it cost €120!! soooo expensive considering that this was 20% of our total bill!! They should have told us how much it would cost/we should have asked but expected something much simpler…apparently high end of the cost/kilo range. Our hotel no longer recommends the restaurant since its guests had similar issues to our own.

05/07/2025: This is one of the rare restaurants where you enter as a client and you depart as friend. Food is excellent and reasonable prized. We recommend the whole seabass in the salt crust. But best is just talk to Guiseppe and he will quickly recommend something which is to your liking. We were so delighted with this restaurant and the team who runs the place, we returned a second time. We can truly recommend this hidden germ of a restaurant located in a quiet alley, not on one of the hectic main roads. Thank you Guiseppe and Team for two wonderful dinners.

17/07/2025: It was a bit empty with people, could be in relation to being there a Wednesday evening. Food and the wine pairing for the degustazione 7 was amazing and I can highly recommend.
