26/05/2025: Very attentive and thoughtful staff, kind and courteous, but unfortunately the food left much to be desired, low quality ingredients, tasteless pasta, not fresh fish, and obviously high prices for what they bring to the table... I'm sorry... we won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it...

24/05/2025: Stopped by chance, passing through, a discovery. Classy restaurant with friendly, fast and courteous staff and with EXCEPTIONAL food! Average costs and still largely justified. Remarkable wine ... all Sicilian flavors. Highly recommended

08/05/2025: We had made a reservation in a WhatsApp conversation with the chef (brother 1). Front of house person (brother 2), had a real attitude and was a PITA. He was shooing us away and didn’t believe we had a reservation until we showed him the conversation. That sort of set the tone. We expected to be seated indoors, but were put on the street. The scent of sewer gas mixed with cigarette smoke and motorbike exhaust further seasoned our experience. The food was probably good, but the atmosphere (in all senses) was so bad that I did not enjoy it. The restaurant was recommended by friends who had a wonderful meal there. So my advice is: make a reservation in person and insist on sitting inside the restaurant. I hope your experience is better than ours.

03/05/2025: Polite welcome, an environment that puts you at ease and lots and lots of quality. On a gastronomic trip to Ortigia it was the best experience. I would go back immediately

07/05/2025: The starter was excellent (caponata). The second swordfish was a little overworked. Instead of bread they brought us a kind of pizza made by them. The times are rather quick and in any case no one asks you to get up if you stay and talk to the diners. Overall very satisfied.

05/06/2025: Tornato in questo ristorante dopo qualche anno, nella sua nuova sede sempre in prati. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Pesce fresco, di qualità e molto buono, a cominciare dagli antipasti fino ai secondi. Dolci altrettanto squisiti. Il servizio veloce ed impeccabile. L'unica nota negativa la rumorosità della sala, dove in mancanza di strutture fonoassorbenti era difficile colloquiare a causa del vocio proveniente dagli altri tavoli. Il prezzo è giusto per la qualità di quello che si mangia e si beve. Da tornarci, magari chiedendo di stare in un'altra sala più piccola e perciò forse meno rumorosa

04/06/2025: Piatti di pesce e non davvero ottimi, splendida atmosfera amichevole ma professionale. Velocità nel servizio, ottima carta dei vini e menù. Splendido ambiente totalmente ristrutturato. Ritorneremo sicuramente!

12/05/2025: A typical Sicilian restaurant. For those who are gluten intolerant and those who are not, it is much more than a meal and an experience. Varied menu, with starters, main course and dessert. I recommend it.

29/03/2025: Una certezza sul lago...come sempre la gentilezza e la professionalità,oltre la.qualità dei piatti,dei patron della corte antica la fa da padrona. Un ristorante , un luogo, dove si assapora la tradizione sicula in varie declinazioni dai primi a seguire.... Cucina eccellente. Materia prima eccellente.

06/05/2025: Very tasty food, extensive menu. The tiramisu is really fantastic! The downside is that the restaurant is very noisy. It is a large open space, so the sound lingers a lot.

04/05/2025: I often come to have lunch with my family, clean and welcoming place, professional and attentive staff, variety regarding the menu, and lots of availability for gluten-free, fried foods / starters, main courses / freshly seasoned focaccia. very happy with the service received, I highly recommend this restaurant, the location of the restaurant is easily accessible and there is ample parking.

03/06/2025: What an experience - the hustle and bustle of Ortigia in the morning is wild, but it’s well worth a visit here for incredible sandwiches and other products.

03/06/2025: Delicious fresh rolls. Also super good cappuccino. Not too expensive and you get really huge rolls that you can easily use. Service is fast and friendly and they speak good English. The inside of the store is very nice. All kinds of cheeses and meats displayed.

11/05/2025: Conosco bene la Sicilia e quindi conosco le usanze ed i cibi della Sicilia. Attesa stratosferica, chi mangia e chi resta digiuno..anche se, poi, le pietanze arrivano. Il personale gentile ed educato. Il cibo molto ma molto discutibile e quei prezzi non hanno alcuna giustificazione. Direi che non ci siamo proprio...eppure è un peccato vista l' educazione e la gentilezza di tutto il personale compreso i proprietari.😪 😪. Amo la Sicilia ed i siciliani e mi è dispiaciuto recensire negativamente questa trattoria. 😪😪
