31/03/2026: A historic Catania restaurant. We were guests of local friends, and they took us to this historic and characteristic restaurant. We were served by Mr. Mario, an extremely knowledgeable person who made us feel at ease and recommended typical dishes. We were truly pampered and felt at home. The dishes were excellent, everything freshly cooked and the fish was extremely fresh. Compliments to the management, professionalism, and courtesy of all the staff.

07/05/2026: We're from Rome, we're used to traveling and eating well, but I say this from the bottom of my heart: I think this is the best restaurant we've ever eaten at in our entire lives. We'd never seen a place like it! ​We came here for lunch and had an unforgettable culinary experience. We chose the full menu, and be prepared, because you'll literally eat until you can't eat anymore! They brought us a whopping 14 (FOURTEEN!) appetizers, each more delicious and fresh than the last. This was followed by 3 spectacular seafood first courses and 1 second course. The quantities were enormous, but above all, the quality of the fish and the preparation were truly top-notch. And all this at a final price that can only be described as 'incredible'. A value for money that is unparalleled. ​A huge round of applause goes to the owner and all the staff: wonderful people, incredibly generous, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They make you feel pampered from the beginning until dessert and their fantastic amaro and limoncello. And then, the location... Eating on their terrace, overlooking what I think is the most beautiful view in all of Sicily, reconnects you with the world. If you're in Forza d'Agrò, stopping at Ristorante Il Padrino isn't just a recommendation, it's a must. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

05/05/2026: The service was very good. I'd rate the appetizers a 3 out of 10. The ravioli were excellent, but 32 euros was a bit much. They remade the entrecote twice because it wasn't cooked to perfection. Overall, the atmosphere and service were good.

The chef demonstrates remarkable culinary skill, showcasing each ingredient with great balance and sensitivity. The dishes arrive with meticulous attention to detail, prepared with technique and passion: authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and a presentation that respects tradition without sacrificing elegance. His experience and love for cooking are clearly evident, with recipes executed impeccably and with particular attention to the quality of the ingredients. Making the experience even more enjoyable is the dining room service, led by the restaurant manager, who is also the restaurant's owner and the chef's brother. He is extremely diligent, discreet, and professional, always present but never intrusive. His attention to the customer is evident in every gesture: from the care with which he accompanies guests throughout dinner to his willingness to recommend dishes and ensure every detail is perfect. This family-friendly synergy between the kitchen and dining room creates an authentic and welcoming atmosphere, where guests truly feel at the center of attention. The passion, professionalism, and dedication that permeate Trattoria Piccolo Napoli transform a simple dinner into a memorable gastronomic experience. 06/05/2026: The best thing about the restaurant is undoubtedly its location; the views of the Valley of the Temples are incredible and well worth the trip. The staff was attentive and the prices are in line with the area, but the culinary experience didn't live up to the expectations set by its Michelin-starred recommendations. The flavor of the dishes was quite average, nothing special or extraordinary for a place of this caliber. The most disappointing thing was receiving my dish cold; it's a very unpleasant first impression and demonstrates a lack of attention to the timing of preparations. I had to send it back, and although they resolved the issue, it detracts significantly from the overall experience. It's a place to go for the scenery, but not for the food.

13/02/2026: The arancini were simply amazing — crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It was clear they were made with high-quality ingredients. What made the experience even more enjoyable, though, was the service — the woman who served us was exceptionally kind and warm, with a genuine attitude and a smile that makes you feel truly welcome. We would definitely come back again, both for the arancini and for the warm hospitality. ☺️

18/05/2026: Excellent regional dishes. The seating is in true Italian style. Large portions. We shared a pasta dish and then each had a main course – we could barely finish our portions. Very good value for money. I would highly recommend this restaurant and would gladly return myself ☺️

17/05/2026: We visited Il Carrettiere and it was a wonderful discovery. You can immediately sense the passion, hard work, and attention to detail. The restaurant is very clean, welcoming, and tastefully decorated. The interior design is truly high-quality: authentic, coherent, and meticulously crafted, yet elegant and tasteful. The atmosphere exudes a true old-school Italian atmosphere in the best sense of the word, an atmosphere increasingly rare these days. The cuisine is truly top-notch. The pizza is prepared according to the finest Italian tradition, while the fritto misto and seafood pasta were exceptional. In particular, the fritto misto was probably the best I've had in Como: everything was incredibly fresh, light, and perfectly cooked. The service was also very professional, attentive, and kind. It was a truly pleasant experience from every perspective. Sincere compliments to the entire team and a heartfelt thank you!

10/05/2026: Excellent value for money. They've focused entirely on the food, not on the touristy location of the old fishermen's houses. I discovered a new Italian dish: Fregola with seafood. Excellent! In the evening, the tables are sheltered from the wind in small, intimate tents. Great!

10/05/2026: Truly a fabulous place, with very good, attentive, and always friendly staff. It's also an excellent choice for celiacs, thanks to the numerous gluten-free options and the attention to detail they put into their preparation, even using gluten-free breadcrumbs. The food was truly delicious, and the entire staff was friendly, helpful, and extremely attentive throughout the experience. Highly recommended!
