04/10/2025: I'd love to give the service extra stars! I've never had such an attentive, child-loving, competent, yet unobtrusive waiter in my life. Bravissimo! 10 out of 5! The restaurant is typically Sicilian, with a somewhat shabby and quirky decor, but very charming. The food was wonderful, and the prices were reasonable. Thank you for the lovely evening!

26/09/2025: We immediately received a warm welcome from the waiter, whose professionalism, friendliness, and kindness made our birthday a pleasant one. We celebrated with dinner at this restaurant, sitting on the terrace and enjoying a lovely atmosphere. For dinner, we had cheese-stuffed onions as an appetizer, which were delicious. We then tried the pasta, pork shank, and beef with potatoes. Everything was quite good.

05/08/2025: How can they expect that a charge a no show fee of Euro160 is accepted, taking a deposit with no deposit clauses nor protection. Unacceptable, they are not worth my money and time.

03/08/2025: Trovandoci in vacanza al Lido di Noto e sempre per la nostra curiosità di provare nuovi ristoranti, sabato 21/06/2025 con mia moglie abbiamo cenato al Ristorante Dammuso. Locale veramente molto …. molto carino, situato nel centro storico di Noto. Fatti subito accomodare abbiamo ordinato come antipasto crostone con burrata e alici e sarde fritte, a seguire tonno in crosta e polpo ca cipuddata. Tutto veramente molto buono e cucinato a regola d’arte. Bravi. Da consigliare assolutamente.

20/10/2025: We had the fish cous cous, busciate alla trapanese and swordfish and everything was delicious. Really lovely atmosphere too!

12/09/2025: If you don't lick your fingers, you're only halfway there! One of the best seafood couscous we've ever had! With fresh fish (robin, San Potrò, grouper, and more) and couscous made with locally sourced semolina. For two, couscous and a generous mixed salad, water, and service, €55. This restaurant boasts numerous awards over many years of restaurant experience. We'll definitely be back!

29/09/2025: What can I say...in the heart of Ortigia...a very cute and welcoming place. The dishes are impeccably prepared and everything is top-quality. The raw fish is excellent. And then the owners are a family of uniquely friendly and welcoming people. I recommend it to everyone.

02/11/2025: What a disappointment. A historic venue, but not even a shadow of its former glory remains... except for the walls. An unremarkable menu, tasteless dishes with a presentation that's nothing short of shabby. The service also leaves much to be desired, needless to say.

30/09/2025: The restaurant is beautiful. We had swordfish and a grilled beef filet. The swordfish had that old fish taste and smell, very unpleasant. We complained to our waiter who was adamant that the fish was fresh. We live in a coastal fishing village in Mexico so we know what fresh fish smells and tastes like. The beef filet was tender but lacking in flavor.

28/09/2025: We tried typical Sicilian pasta and really liked it, especially the pasta with sardines. It's a restaurant where you can order a starter and pasta, or pasta and a main course. Parking is easy.

04/10/2025: Apart from the price (arancino 4.5 euros) everything is greasy and very greasy, after eating 2 pieces I was already disgusted and nauseous, the only good thing I can say is about the pastry, the cannoli and the ricotta were very good, the rest is not up to par at all. It seems like something for tourists, it has very little of Sicilian

04/10/2025: The food is amazing, made with local produce. The ragu is delicious. The service is excellent! The interior patio is very pretty. I recommend it for dinner; it's even more charming.

03/10/2025: The place looks nice, but the experience was very disappointing. Our mixed fried dish arrived with some pieces still frozen inside; it had to be sent back and re-cooked. We ordered a well-done steak for our 1.5-year-old toddler (asked three times), but it arrived medium with some rare pieces. When we complained, the waitress rudely said “that’s how they like their meat,” which was completely unacceptable. Other dishes were just okay, but the poor cooking and rude service ruined the visit.

06/10/2025: It's hard to review. I've tried three first courses and they're all delicious. The pasta with sardines is exceptional. The fried food is also very good. They're all very good.

29/09/2025: Excellent food, high quality, and authentic Sicilian flavors. The prices may be a little high, but given the quality of the food, you can afford to overlook it. The owner is friendly and approachable, and I also compliment the kitchen. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: We came here on the recommendation of Osteria d'Italia and had reserved a table. We were told that the restaurant has been run by the same family for over 20 years. We love and know Italian cuisine and were particularly looking forward to the Sicilian version. We ordered three starters, one of which was to share. Initially, however, we were only served two, and only after we asked for all three came – this time even more. The bruschetta to share was excellent, but the caponata was rather overcooked and bland, and the Parmigiano was okay. For our main course, we chose the fish of the day (sea bream with capers, tomatoes, fennel, and peppers). The portion was so small that we had to ask if it was really the main course. Unfortunately, it was – the fish was barely noticeable, as it was completely overpowered by the vegetable sauce. With a glass of white wine (€9), the bill came to €81. Overall, we were disappointed with both the quality and quantity of the fish and would not eat here again.

19/10/2025: Dinner on October 10, 2025 The setting is bare, consisting of a single, bright room, but devoid of any furnishings, enhanced only by four photographs of Modica on the walls. Tables are discreetly separated, and acoustic comfort is difficult to assess due to the small number of customers. Decent traditional cuisine: mixed antipasto, varied but unmemorable. The "lolli che favi" (a type of pasta filled with honey and honeycomb) are hard to judge, having never eaten them before, but they didn't impress me at all, while the ricotta ravioli with pork sauce were convincing. Decent house wine. Friendly and fairly quick service. Affordable. Rating: 7

17/10/2025: It's a bit far from the center of Modica, but you can eat really delicious traditional food. Oh, I want to eat it again.

03/10/2025: Elaborate and original dishes, as you'd expect from a restaurateur who knows his craft. Beware of the surly and unfriendly welcome from the lady at the entrance.

27/09/2025: Trattoria Il Sorpasso in Ferrara. Highly recommended! The food is truly excellent, tasty and carefully prepared. The staff is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. A special thanks to the ladies serving tables: kind, smiling, and truly exceptional! Congratulations for everything, I'll definitely be back!
