04/05/2025: Posto molto bello sì piedi dell’Etna. Sabato sera ore 21.30 su prenotazione. Non era la prima volta e sempre stati molto bene. Capisco la serata (locale pieno)e ragazzi molto stanchi e poco empatici. Non ho accetto del tutto aver ordinato le pappardelle e mi sono arrivate le casareccie … ne deduco poca attenzione e non protesto. Il resto buono: Involtini, carne cucinata su tegola e filetto. Le patate fritte unte (fritte e rifritte nello stesso olio?). Nessuno, nemmeno il proprietario a chiedere se tutto andava bene o come ci siamo trovati. Poca empatia con chi potrebbe ritornare. Peccato.

18/05/2025: The food was “okay” which considering we were in Sicily is not really a compliment. They do the traditional Trapani cous cous well but other than that it’s not great. The restaurant itself had a really bad drainage smell and all the “decor” in the restaurant looked like it needed a clean/dust.

The raw seafood was good, the fried calamari was good but the portion was a bit small compared to the price and considering that it was a frozen product. The service was very kind. The only flaw was that the pretty girls next to us were offered limoncello and we were given nothing...

10/05/2025: We wanted to try the famous couscous and eat fresh fish. Both were rather disappointing (I have to say that we don't eat seafood, it was the veggie couscous!!). Couscous was boring, fish was cold until it was filleted, and unfortunately the potatoes served with it were too. The service was great, almost too many helping hands as someone else came to the table every 5 minutes. The atmosphere is super special and nice but there are probably cheaper ways to try the couscous.

06/05/2025: We had dinner in this beautiful place with friends and we were satisfied. Excellent food, beautifully presented. Friendly and friendly staff. You eat under the olive trees. Beautiful atmosphere. Fabulous

03/06/2025: The restaurant is nice enough although quite brightly lit in the evening which did give it an odd atmosphere. The waitress was charming and very helpful. However the food was disappointing. We had the sardine spaghetti (which was unbearably salty) and then another sardine and tomato linguine with breadcrumbs which was better, but still very salty. It wasn’t much better than what you could make at home with good ingredients. I did note that the people next to us also didn’t finish their meal as it was too salty. A shame as it was hyped up to be delicious.

02/06/2025: Pasta no better than what’s capable being made at home. The atmosphere and service do not make up for the quality of food.

11/05/2025: Good cut with artichokes. The dessert is interesting. Place already visited and reviewed on other occasions for dishes with truffles.

19/04/2025: It was outstanding. The beef fillet with truffle was particularly good. The service is very warm and we can recommend it to everyone.

11/05/2025: A place that deserves to be chosen if you want to enjoy excellent fish dishes in Bologna. A place that is not too touristy but chosen by the locals for the goodness of the food and the kindness and warmth of the service. We had a good time. The place is a bit old-fashioned furnished and even the dishes had an 80s presentation but the goodness of the dishes won us over.

29/05/2025: Excellent and delicious food. The menu is on the more expensive side but the quality of everything is very high. The Oxtail veal was great.

08/05/2025: We stopped unexpectedly for lunch outside. A string trio performed and beautifully interpreted classical opuses. The welcome was warm, the cuisine simple and perfect for a no-fuss lunch at a reasonable price. Also to be frequented for an aperitif or a refreshment. I recommend this friendly bistro.

03/05/2025: Catania: Contrary to other negative reviews, I found the service very friendly even though the place was full! Today I had a brioche and a lemon granita, the brioche dough was good and the brioche was fresh which is fundamental and, although it was polished with the egg and not with milk as lightness and tradition would require, I pass it with flying colors! The lemon granita had a very fine grain, as it should be, but it was served too icy. This wouldn't have been a bad thing if you just had to wait a bit. The problem occurred upon tasting... The flavor was absolutely not that of simple lemon and sugar but there was something artificial or other among the ingredients. This, for a Sicilian... is sacrilege. I read all the negative reviews on Google hoping that someone else had noticed, but I couldn't find any reviews on this. I would like to go back and try it with just water, sugar and lemon juice
