01/09/2025: A trattoria restaurant with a warm welcome and delicious dishes. A little more expensive than the average in Sicily, but it's a tourist area. The service is very pleasant and efficient, and the dishes are served without waiting. Parking is available on the street at "Sicilian style."

01/09/2025: The restaurant is in a beautiful location on Noto's main street. The food is excellent and the fish is fresh (we had marinated anchovies as an appetizer, calamarata with swordfish, and grilled fish). The staff is incredibly kind and helpful: we realized late that we needed to change our entree due to allergies, and they were prompt in making changes. They also offer half-bottles of wine (0.375 liters), which is a great option if you don't want to buy a whole bottle. Highly recommended. Well done! Last but not least, the price is super fair—we paid €76 for two for an appetizer and a main course each, with water and wine.

30/08/2025: The location is very convenient, on the main street just steps from the Duomo. The waiters are friendly and smiling, and they immediately make you feel at ease. We had the pasta alla Norma, with a well-mixed sauce and light fried eggplant, and the caponata, prepared with balance and very tasty. The fried dishes—bread and panelle, croquettes, and fried cheese—were all well-executed and flavorful. The deconstructed cannoli was the perfect choice to finish, delicious without being heavy. All this was accompanied by a local white wine that paired beautifully with the dishes. A simple, welcoming, and pleasant trattoria, where you eat well and feel like you're among friends.

03/08/2025: Trovandoci in vacanza al Lido di Noto e sempre per la nostra curiosità di provare nuovi ristoranti, sabato 21/06/2025 con mia moglie abbiamo cenato al Ristorante Dammuso. Locale veramente molto …. molto carino, situato nel centro storico di Noto. Fatti subito accomodare abbiamo ordinato come antipasto crostone con burrata e alici e sarde fritte, a seguire tonno in crosta e polpo ca cipuddata. Tutto veramente molto buono e cucinato a regola d’arte. Bravi. Da consigliare assolutamente.

27/08/2025: Highly recommended restaurant, offering traditional Sicilian dishes (because the chef is Sicilian) expertly paired with wines from eastern Lombardy. Very reasonable prices: appetizer, first course, two glasses of wine, water, and coffee + cover charge are €65 (and you're in one of Mantua's most beautiful squares). See you next time, without a doubt! PS: For those with sensitive stomachs, everything is easily digestible, a sign of excellent workmanship and top-quality ingredients.

This charm, of course, is accentuated when you enter the restaurant as you savor the delicacies of the various courses. Everything you taste will be heavenly!!! Top-notch cuisine!! 13/06/2025: Terzo ristorante provato durante la nostra permanenza sull'isola. Personale garbato e attento. Locale con affaccio sul porto. Anche qui, abbiamo cenato a base di pesce. Grigliata mista cucinata sapientemente e pesce di qualità. Anche i primi meritano, per non parlare dei dessert (davvero eccezionali). Giusto rapporto qualità prezzo. Sicuramente un locale da provare per chi è in vacanza a Lampedusa.

18/08/2025: In one of Palermo's most charming and tranquil squares, you'll find a restaurant recommended by the Michelin Guide (no stars) but with a highly captivating description that opens up many expectations. In practice, however, you'll encounter many problems. You've chosen the six-course tasting menu: the following dishes received particularly poor marks: Calamarata, 'nduja sauce, eggplant, Ragusano DOP, basil mousse, and wild fennel: a very bland and unremarkable dish. Double-marinated veal fillet, smoked tomato, black pig cheek, Sicilian Pecorino DOP wafer, fresh oregano It's practically impossible, even allowing for any kind of error in the preparation, to serve such a tough veal fillet. Not even the many supposedly intriguing additional ingredients managed to produce an acceptable dish. Grilled leek, brown vegetable stock, vegetables, marjoram. Unspeakable. I thought of an unlikely "raw vegetable dish." The staff is extremely kind and patient, but professionally, they still need to hone their skills in the face of the challenges that this now disillusioned industry presents. The sommelier, in particular, must radically rethink his professional perspective. Wine of choice: Grillo di Sicilia: good. Bill for two: €290. Advice to the owners: radically rethink everything because if the strategy focuses on passing customers, who once met will never be seen again, you can't build a minimally credible proposal.

The cuisine is truly delightful, with a strong Sicilian influence thanks to the chef from Messina, who brings authentic Trinacria flavors to the table. I enjoyed the pumpkin cappellacci with butter and sage, a typical Ferrara dish: delicious! There are also other traditional Ferrara dishes, but the heart of the restaurant remains Sicilian, so it's best to adjust your expectations if you're looking for a truly local experience. 18/08/2025: Unfortunately, we don't recommend this restaurant. The service is terrible. We waited over 20 minutes for our order, and a waitress put down our bottle of water without even opening it and serving it. Are you anti-tourist? In any case, we decided not to stop because the atmosphere wasn't conducive to relaxation.

20/08/2025: Half the menu items were unavailable. We were told they only had visiate pasta, but after asking another waiter, we were told they also had another type of pasta. Lifting a bottle of wine on the shelves behind the table, we found a small cockroach under the bottle. Service was rather slow, about an hour and a half for the first courses, and the restaurant was quite empty; besides us, there were many of us, only one couple sitting at the tables. The food, in our opinion, wasn't very good, especially the raw ingredients—I'm talking about fish. The pasta, according to everyone who ordered it, was bland. The restaurant is still nice. The price was slightly above average. The most notable was the €11 for eight grilled zucchini rounds and a radicchio stalk. Highly not recommended, especially considering the quality of other restaurants in the area.

22/08/2025: On vacation with friends on a boat, one evening we felt like eating meat. A friend of ours gave us a tip, and we decided to drive 30 minutes to the restaurant because it was a bit far from the port of Marsala. The meat was exquisite, the caponata was a competition winner—warm, sweet, creamy, delicious! If I were to ever be in the area again, I'd definitely go back!
