14/12/2025: Everything was excellent but the meat was an exceptional plus, the desserts were very good, the service needs to be improved.
26/11/2025: Midweek lunch for two, excellent food, really good. I had the lamb, delicious. Prices were fair. The owner was friendly and courteous. The waitress was good and kind.
The only downside was the cold, the heating was too low.
I recommend it anyway.

05/08/2025: How can they expect that a charge a no show fee of Euro160 is accepted, taking a deposit with no deposit clauses nor protection. Unacceptable, they are not worth my money and time.
03/08/2025: Trovandoci in vacanza al Lido di Noto e sempre per la nostra curiosità di provare nuovi ristoranti, sabato 21/06/2025 con mia moglie abbiamo cenato al Ristorante Dammuso.
Locale veramente molto …. molto carino, situato nel centro storico di Noto. Fatti subito accomodare abbiamo ordinato come antipasto crostone con burrata e alici e sarde fritte, a seguire tonno in crosta e polpo ca cipuddata. Tutto veramente molto buono e cucinato a regola d’arte. Bravi. Da consigliare assolutamente.

17/11/2025: We called and emailed to book a table, but nothing. We stopped by yesterday, Sunday, November 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM, and were saddened to see with our own eyes that the Lumie restaurant in Sicily NO LONGER EXISTS!!!
CLOSED PERMANENTLY. Say NO!!!

A historic venue, but not even a shadow of its former glory remains... except for the walls. An unremarkable menu, tasteless dishes with a presentation that's nothing short of shabby. The service also leaves much to be desired, needless to say.

01/12/2025: I have to revise my review. I used to appreciate the place and the food, but now it seems to be getting worse. It's a shame, but the portions are small and not particularly good.
It's a shame the menu is unusual. I'd like to try again because the place is very welcoming.

22/11/2025: The best meal we had in Sicily. Charming location just off the Main Street in Taormina. A great menu with lots of options to suit all tastes, most being local delicacies. I had the pork pasta, rabbit stew and cannolo which were all super.

After the first course, I asked for wine and water, but they arrived after I sent the second course back because it was raw after 45 minutes (roast pork). Terrible. First and last time. First courses that weigh 70g are a lot. I'll never go back.

16/12/2025: Tourists visiting Palermo, with my boyfriend we chose this restaurant because it had good reviews and indeed everything was excellent, food, price, service super satisfied to recommend for an informal environment oriented towards quality
14/12/2025: I agree with what many have said: authentic, plentiful dishes at fair prices.
We ordered two plates of orecchiette with turnip greens, cherry tomatoes, and sausage. I felt right at home because they were the kind of flavors you find when dining with family.
The same feeling for the apple tart: a thin shortcrust pastry base with a layer of dark chocolate, topped with an excellent cream and apples. Delicious.
All this with a half liter of local wine, a coffee, and a amaro, on the house, for €26.
Special mention goes to the owner, who took orders and attentively served all the numerous customers with discretion, professionalism, and polite humor.
A place frequented by locals, highly recommended.
