08/06/2025: Siamo tornati in questo ristorante dopo un paio d'anni di assenza, poiche, con franchezza, avevamo notato una certa "flessione" nelle pietanze, flessione che con la giornata odierna sembra ampiamente superata. Gustosi spaghettoni e a seguire tonno alalunga. Conclude un piccolo cannolo tradizionale. Servizio solerte e nella norma. Torneremo.

28/06/2025: I have been to this restaurant with my family and we were thrilled. The food was excellent, the location very welcoming and elegant, the staff friendly, nice and attentive to the needs of the customer. We tasted different dishes including pasta (handmade), beef tartare, fish dishes including octopus with a mashed potato, super tender and desserts. Really everything delicious, I highly recommend it!!

25/06/2025: The service is very good, as is the setting... but the food... it's very mediocre, and I'm being kind. Considering the price, you almost wonder how there are so many positive reviews. Our choice: A fried fish starter for two, a homemade pasta dish with shrimp, octopus, and a bottle of prosecco. Result: Frozen shrimp, an unpleasant odor from the shrimp dish, nonexistent presentation, potatoes in every dish (75% of the fried food), and in this fried dish, "Arancini," the first item listed in the menu description, the only good thing, but there's only one. The octopus was good, but there was (still) mashed potatoes with it and little mousselines around it, impossible to identify the taste... "Naive," we certainly are when we paid €73 for two, indeed 😂 PS: I never comment. We came on the recommendation of our host, and I'll say it again, the servers were really very nice, but this is too much.

14/06/2025: A dinner to remember! We went to La Tana del Lupo for dinner and the experience was truly exceptional. As soon as we entered we were greeted with courtesy in a warm and rustic environment, with attention to the smallest details. We started with an appetizer of provola with honey: simple but exquisite, the sweet-salty contrast was perfectly balanced. As a first course, the pistachio panzotti won us over: creamy, fragrant and full of flavor, a real treat for pistachio lovers. The second course, a slice of Angus, was very tender and cooked to perfection, accompanied by tasty side dishes that enhanced the meat without covering its flavor. Attentive and friendly service, just the right amount of time between courses. Really excellent quality/price ratio. A place we recommend without hesitation and to which we will definitely return!

05/06/2025: Lo digo... ¡la mejor experiencia de restaurante en Noto! Difícil conseguir una reserva, pero lo conseguimos. Los vinos son excelentes El servicio al cliente es perfecto El menú es versátil y no más asequible de lo que se podría pensar. Ambiente es precioso (nos sentamos dentro) Teníamos - Ensalada de naranja, oliva, hinojo - Fava y sopa de garbanzos con ricota y pan rallado Ricotta frita - raviolis y salchicha de cerdo -albóndigas También trajeron un aperitivo que prepararon. Todo era sabroso, complejo, bien dividido... sin notas. Mi favorita fue la Sopa de Fava y Garbanzos. Ojalá viniera aquí dos noches seguidas en lugar de ir a NACHE (que odiaba) porque había muchas cosas que quería pedir. Recomiendo encarecidamente. Tengo dos noches más de mis vacaciones, pero creo que esta puede ser mi experiencia culinaria favorita en toda Sicilia.

03/06/2025: The restaurant, located in the center of Castrofilippo, has an indoor dining area and a street terrace during the summer. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The service is relatively fast. The value for money is very good. The food is delicious. A must-see when you're in this area.

13/07/2025: A pleasant evening of relaxation, good food, and that tranquility that's increasingly hard to find when dining out. Just a little background music brightened our dinner, outdoors on a warm July evening, in the center of a small square in the historic center. Impeccable staff: two waitresses not only served us, but also advised us, entertained us, and with their kindness made us feel almost at home. Compliments to the kitchen and the staff.

08/04/2025: Retirement Party To celebrate my retirement and offer a buffet to friends and colleagues as good Sicilians, my husband and I relied on SOLE DI SICILIA. We took quite a few things. Everything delicious!!! During the evening we received so many compliments on the food from our guests! Everything good, fresh and quality! Palermo-style anelletti: fabulous! Arancine, aubergine sandwich, panelle, etc... etc... extraordinary!!!!! Not to mention the dessert! Exceptional Sicilian cannoli!!!! I repeat... everything was delicious, the price was right and the delivery was on time. Highly recommended by Rita and Enzo.

10/06/2025: Small family-run restaurant, the owner is very helpful and friendly. Great prices and a good selection of products both at the counter and on the menu. It also has a small room where you can have lunch sitting down without the crowd of people sitting at the bar. Excellent!

03/05/2025: Se non lo conosci difficilmente ci capiti, se lo conosci… non ci torni. All’ingresso sembra semplicemente un bar, solo chiedendo scopri che fanno anche ristorazione e ti fanno accomodare in una stanzetta abbastanza modesta, spartana e deprimente specie se, come nel mio caso, ci capiti fuori orario e quando non c’è nessuno. Opto per un primo piatto (penne olive e acciughe) né abbondante né particolarmente gustoso. Con una bottiglietta d’acqua e il coperto spendo sui 13 euro. Nonostante la buona volontà e gentilezza del personale (credo tutti componenti della famiglia proprietaria) non resto soddisfatto. Valido probabilmente per i pranzi di lavoro della gente del posto, sconsigliato se siete in zona per turismo o in vacanza. C’è di meglio. Molto meglio.

06/07/2025: De eerste avond dat wij bij La Stiva gegeten hebben was zo lekker, puur en gastvrij dat wij avond twee en drie hier ook zijn geweest. Antonella en Angelo komen van Sicilië en koken met de producten uit de regio. Je krijgt geen menukaart maar een tafel vol kleine gerechtjes. Vooral proeven, delen en genieten. Goed om te weten; wijn en water zijn bij de totaalprijs inbegrepen. Je proeft dat hier met liefde is gekookt. Antonella en Angelo hebben onze vakantie tot een feestje gemaakt.

01/06/2025: Un’autentica esperienza di gusto nella tradizione La Masseria di Salvo è molto più di un semplice ristorante: è un viaggio nei sapori autentici della cucina tradizionale, in un’atmosfera calda e accogliente che ti fa sentire subito a casa. Il locale è curato, rustico ma elegante, immerso nel verde e perfetto sia per una cena romantica che per un pranzo in famiglia o con amici. Il personale è gentile, attento e appassionato, sempre pronto a raccontare la storia dei piatti e a consigliare al meglio. La cucina è il vero punto di forza: ogni piatto è preparato con ingredienti freschissimi, molti dei quali a km 0. Le porzioni sono generose, i sapori intensi ma equilibrati, e la presentazione curata senza mai essere eccessiva. Antipasti misti da sogno, primi della tradizione eseguiti con maestria e secondi che sanno davvero di casa. Da non perdere i dolci fatti in casa, semplicemente deliziosi! Un posto in cui si torna volentieri, perché sa di vero. Complimenti allo chef e a tutto lo staff per la passione che mettono ogni giorno nel loro lavoro.
