16/12/2025: The service and welcome were pleasant. The place is very nice, and the food was good. However, the pleasure of the meal fades when it comes to the bill. It truly exceeds the quality standards of the food. The wine price is shocking. A mushroom dish with no more than 200 grams of ingredients (not just porcini) cost €20. I've had much better meals at much lower prices in the circumstances.

09/12/2025: Excellent culinary experience. It's a shame about the service. The waitress, perhaps because she was under a lot of stress, wasn't very friendly; there were plenty of dirty looks. I also didn't like paying 2.50 for two coffees each... excessive! But the quality and kindness of the owner will make me forget these details, and we'll definitely be back. Thank you.

19/12/2025: Terrible organization in seating management with improbable rules, so much so that lately it's often vacant. Unfortunately, management is entrusted to young people with no experience or sense of common sense.

18/12/2025: A modern restaurant near Via Etnea in Catania; the menu offers a wide range of fast food dishes, prepared with care and using high-quality local ingredients. The sandwiches are simply exceptional, but the pizza and fried foods are also delicious. Very friendly staff, fast service. Highly recommended for a lunch or dinner that's different from the norm but still offers quality food.

05/12/2025: A historic Palermo restaurant, located right in the city center since 1890, it represents the quintessential food and wine culture, particularly its selection of "bolliti." This is a traditional Italian dish, usually served in winter, made with meat (often a mix of beef, veal, or chicken) and vegetables, slowly cooked in boiling broth. In addition to the aforementioned dishes, the menu also features many local specialties, featuring a simple and deliberately "rough" approach, alternating according to the seasonality of the ingredients used. The dishes are carefully crafted and presented in a pleasant, clean, and simple manner. The wine list is comprehensive overall, with little reference to the Metodo Classico, perhaps a business decision aimed at a tourist crowd. Charismatic figures include chef/owner Romeres, an excellent professional but also a scholar of Palermo's food and wine history, and his wife Marisa, a very sweet, affable, discreet, yet present and indispensable lady at the reception. The service is attentive, friendly, and attentive, and is also committed to meeting any customer request. The location has remained unchanged over the years, with a subtle retro feel, starting with their sign, which embodies a blend of an inn and an old tavern. The three interior rooms are filled with photos and vintage furnishings, reflecting a passionate professional journey undertaken by grandfather Salvatore Catanese, a legacy passed down to the latest generation, his grandchildren Ada, Gaetano, and his wife Marisa. Excellent value for money, especially thanks to The Fork's 30% discount.

15/11/2025: We came in for a meal and found ourselves immersed in a sensory experience. From the appetizers to the first and second courses, it was always an explosion of flavors. Another positive note: my wife and daughter are celiacs and were able to eat everything, including the fried foods, which were TOP. Definitely worth a visit. Paolo is a knowledgeable and delightful person.

16/11/2025: Our experience at this nearly Michelin-starred restaurant unfortunately fell far short of expectations. The tagliolini with mushrooms was the main disappointment: completely flavorless, without aroma or character, a dish that left no impression on the palate. To make matters worse, the service was decidedly poor: little attention to customer service, long wait times, and service that didn't even begin to reflect the restaurant's aspirations. For a restaurant that strives for excellence, we expected much more. This experience, however, was truly disappointing.

07/11/2025: Fantastic restaurant with incredibly friendly owners. Unfortunately, I can only give 5 stars for the service. It's probably already common knowledge that Andrea's dishes are a culinary delight… and the prices are absolutely reasonable for this quality (starter: porcini carpaccio, followed by tagliolini al tartufo di Palazzolo con uovo poche, dessert: ricotta with strawberry sauce). The wine recommendation was, as always, excellent. It's well worth the trip, especially since Palazzolo Acreide is simply beautiful… Update November 2025: Nothing has changed. Simply superb!

01/12/2025: A beautiful, chic trattoria in Trastevere, with a rich menu of well-executed dishes. Attentive and discreet service, reasonable bill, and parking in the area is difficult but not impossible.

18/12/2025: High expectations disappointed! A good selection of dishes, but honestly, not the highest quality considering the price of a full menu (€50). Personally, I would have preferred less quantity but more quality. Excellent service and friendliness.

11/12/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner during the week, we ate very well and in disproportionate quantities, we enjoyed every dish and left with full bellies and satisfied, the staff was very courteous and attentive to the customer, we were treated very well, all at a great price!

26/10/2025: The food was exquisite Pastas with sweet ricotta are delicious , I recommend the appetizers, they are super delicious. The waiter is super friendly and nice, he speaks several languages making things easier. The place is very well decorated and I think the cat theme is a very good idea.

09/12/2025: When we arrived in Sicily, we wanted to satisfy our craving for couscous and busiate as quickly as possible, and this place didn't disappoint. The portions were generous and, above all, good quality. The service was attentive, courteous, and unobtrusive.

07/12/2025: The place is a bit vintage, full of bottles, Sicilian puppets, etc. The atmosphere is very homey, the food is good, though some things are a bit messy, like the swordfish with capers and oregano, which arrives covered in a creamy tomato, almond, and other ingredients. The dessert cassata isn't special. The service is a bit inattentive, the dishes are colorful and have a very 1970s feel that I didn't like. The bill for the grilled vegetables (11 euros) and the desserts was exorbitant, but otherwise, everything else is more or less in line.

06/11/2025: Feeling nostalgic for Sicily, I decide to take a lunch break here. I have a classic arancina with ragù and a slice of baked cassata. Both are delicious, as if we were in Palermo.

23/10/2025: A place you have to go for breakfast near Porta Romana. I went there by chance on my trip to Milan and went back the next day because I loved it so much. The croissant was delicious, even more so than at other places that are more popular in Milan. And the cannoli was incredible too. I also want to highlight the very good prices.

01/10/2025: Good service from the waiters. Good pasta. Apparently, I'm not the only one who was a bit disappointed by the dish of the day and surprised to pay €25 for four paltry tuna meatballs, which were offered as a starter of the day and then paid for as a main course. They may be good (more flavorful elsewhere, in my opinion), but the dish wasn't worth €25, especially when presented like that without any clear instructions or price. The owner wasn't very attentive on this point, but simply continued to say that the tuna was special. The bread served was old and rubbery.

29/09/2025: All good, but perhaps it would be appropriate to disclose the price of off-menu items in advance. We had an appetizer and two first courses, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine for €95, of which the off-menu tuna meatballs alone cost €25.

07/11/2025: It was a good experience, this location is more for locals than tourists. We tried eggplant pizza, chiken with fries pizza, tuna pizza and calzone, all were very good. Very good customer service.
