16/11/2025: Our experience at this nearly Michelin-starred restaurant unfortunately fell far short of expectations. The tagliolini with mushrooms was the main disappointment: completely flavorless, without aroma or character, a dish that left no impression on the palate. To make matters worse, the service was decidedly poor: little attention to customer service, long wait times, and service that didn't even begin to reflect the restaurant's aspirations. For a restaurant that strives for excellence, we expected much more. This experience, however, was truly disappointing.

15/11/2025: We came in for a meal and found ourselves immersed in a sensory experience. From the appetizers to the first and second courses, it was always an explosion of flavors. Another positive note: my wife and daughter are celiacs and were able to eat everything, including the fried foods, which were TOP. Definitely worth a visit. Paolo is a knowledgeable and delightful person.

02/03/2026: A delicious seafood dinner for an engagement anniversary. The service, cuisine, and ingredients were exceptional. The only drawback was that it was a bit noisy, but still 5-star.

02/03/2026: Excellent restaurant just steps from the tourist bustle, in the Capo area of ​​Palermo. Hospitality and kindness are guaranteed, and the variety of meat and seafood dishes is excellent, with something for everyone, and the ingredients are carefully selected and fresh. The fish dishes are priced in line with other Italian restaurants, though average. The atmosphere is pleasant, though a little more soundproofing could be a plus, but the friendly staff makes up for it!

15/02/2026: As a starter I ordered raw fish and it was fresh, I also ordered bruschetta with sea urchins and they were also good, it was a shame about the pasta I ordered which was salty, undercooked and cold, the salty bill was not up to the dinner's standard.

14/02/2026: The food was great (caponata melanzane), but the service and wait time were abysmal. It took over an hour for a pasta carbonara, and our order wasn't taken until 30 minutes later (they were out of meat altogether; they could have mentioned that when handing out the menu).

30/10/2025: Our family stayed at the hotel for the last weekend in October: -Room: renovated, small, but with ample storage space; narrow beds; balcony with a partial lake view; clean bathroom -Staff: friendly and helpful -Location: directly on the lake, a 5-minute walk to the center of Bardolino, parking directly in front of the hotel -Breakfast: delicious and a very good selection (fresh fruit, cheese and cold cuts, pastries, freshly squeezed juice, etc.) - even on the last day the hotel was open

11/01/2026: A little corner of Sicily in the heart of the city, where every dish speaks of tradition and passion. The cuisine is authentic, flawless, and surprisingly meticulously crafted. Everything flows with a natural and disarming grace. Every flavor is distinct, authentic, and of the highest quality, yet the presentation remains simple, elegant, and unobtrusive. A heartwarming experience, brief in time but profound in flavor.

03/11/2025: The food quality is good, but unfortunately, the prices for the tasting menu increased by 44% from €45 to €65 between 2020 and 2025, while the portions became smaller and less elaborate – a real shame. Instead of a cover charge, a 10% service charge was added without asking. I find that outrageous. We'll definitely be back.

17/02/2026: Overall good food, decent quality and service. I strongly recommend to try the "zuppa di cozze", mussels were delicious and the sauce deserved to be cleaned up with the bread; go "scarpetta"! First dishes are tasty and portions are generous: "pasta alla norma" and "tagliatelle con pistacchio e gamberi" are worth! Finally we had "polpo e calamari alla Luciana", that wasn't of my taste, but I was also almost full so I may be biased, anyway the taste of onions was too strong and did cover the seafood! We did try the house white wine, it wasn't bad but I could sense that it was a bit water-ish; last thing is that we had to wait almost 1h before getting the starter, but after that first and second dishes came one after the other! I would recommend the place is you are not in a hurry and you're very hungry and looking for good traditional Sicilian food :)
