10/12/2025: Best food we had in Sicily. We went with the 6 course menu. Loved evey bite. Great vibe, excellent waiter who spoke great English. Really loved the experience.

30/11/2025: I'm sorry, but a restaurant is primarily about the food, and this was a disaster. The "Zuppata alla cozze con tomato" was simply disgusting. 🤢 The mussels smelled like they came from the worst harbor water, and some were still ice-cold 🥶 because they had probably just been thawed. I had to send almost the entire portion back. I explained that they tasted very strange, which the waitress acknowledged with an "okay." I wasn't offered an alternative or compensation, and in the end, I was charged the full price of €12. 😠 The main course wasn't a disaster, but it was a disappointment. We were promised sea bass from Lampedusa, but what we got were two measly, thawed, tasteless fillets with no bite, two slices of potato, and an unidentifiable sauce, all for €16 😖 As lovely as the waitress was, a restaurant is primarily about the food, and if something goes wrong, the customer should at least be offered compensation instead of being charged the full price. I hope the owners read this and improve their food so that future guests have better luck. We will never be back.

27/10/2025: Excellent dinner. We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of friends who had been there before. For appetizers, we had eggplant rolls, which were delicious. Then we had four samples of tartar, which were also excellent. For the first course, spaghetti with red mullet and wild fennel sauce was truly excellent. The second course was equally delicious: Lampedusana-style amberjack fillet. Everything was excellent, from the service to the ingredients used. The bill was reasonable for the quality and service provided. Thank you, and see you next season.

If you love traditional Sicilian cuisine, Trattoria dei Templi is a must-visit.

They adapted the tasting menu for us, as my girlfriend doesn't like fish, and prepared beef steak and vegetarian tortellini as an alternative. The steak was the best we've ever eaten! It was incredible what they conjured up. The highlight of our short Lake Garda vacation.

01/11/2025: This is a charming, comfortable, and very well-located hotel. The welcome is warm. All the staff are kind and attentive. You can speak French with some of the reception staff. The breakfast is varied and very good, featuring fresh, local products. Don't hesitate to book; it's one of the best places to stay in Syracuse.

We returned every night we were in Modica. We took their advice and tried a few different dishes, including the pizza. All the food was excellent. The owners are friendly, kind, and attentive to their customers. We had a great time. They also gave us advice on what to try and see in Modica. Well done, keep up the good work.
