His dishes are a delight, reflecting his passion for cooking. In addition, I found all the staff extremely friendly and helpful, especially Francesca, the owner, very kind and smiling. 09/04/2025: If you are looking for an unforgettable culinary experience, you cannot miss this Sicilian cuisine restaurant! I chose the tasting menu and each course was a true explosion of flavors. The appetizers were a triumph of freshness and creativity, with five courses that told the Sicilian tradition in a sublime way. Each bite was a journey through local ingredients. The first course exceeded all expectations: a generous portion of pasta alla norma accompanied by a sublime grated ricotta. The second course ended in style, with a second course based on tuna cooked to perfection and accompanied by a salad Finally, the desserts! Two desserts that were works of art: one delicate and fresh, the other rich and enveloping. A perfect ending to a meal that was a sensory journey. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made the atmosphere even more welcoming. If you are a lover of Sicilian cuisine, this restaurant is a must! I can't wait to go back to taste these delights again.

05/12/2024: I visited this restaurant in December 2023 with my father and it was one of the best culiniary experience I´VE ever had. The white wine , the food were just wonderful. Before leaving the owner even offered us a one of a kind wine that I wish I knew the name so I could get one now , but I think it was homemade.

23/03/2025: We decided to go to this restaurant, but we will never go there again. The quality of the fish is really low, the swordfish sausage had nothing fishy about it but was all crumbs, the caponata (which arrived significantly later than the starters, so much so that they brought it to us as soon as we already had the dishes to eat the first course) seemed more like a boiled vegetable soup, the gratin mussels seemed pre-cooked and then reheated. Then they gave us a plate in which we had to have both first and second courses, when as in every restaurant they change the dishes between the first and second courses. The pasta with swordfish and fennel was very salty, inedible. The second mixture of grilled fish, roasted squid, prawns etc. was definitely not fresh fish and you can immediately tell when the fish is fresh or if they have had it for several days. Even though it was a fixed menu, we sat down at 1pm but got up at 3.30pm due to the extremely slow service. In the end, at the time of the sweets and bitters, we had the glasses of the bitters, but we asked where the bitters were and they brought them to us after 15 minutes because in their words "they couldn't find the bottles". Surely the expectations were very different, we are people who tend to eat "even the tables" so for us to give such an opinion means that it is really serious, we will never return.

21/03/2025: Sooooo good starters.....plenty for two people....some courses are special...made with care and passion.... We chose appetizers and first courses on the owner's advice....after about 14/16 appetizers we moved on to the first courses.....but we weren't able to finish them.... Worth a try if you are in the area or if you go there specifically.....we will definitely be back.....

08/03/2025: Una gran sorpresa in centro nella città di Pedara. Risotto al nero d'Avola e pecorino ennese top, primo al sugo di cinghiale superlativo. Angus tenerissimo e gustoso. Tiramisù per finire di buonissima qualità e gusto ottimo. Personale gentile e discreto . Locale caratteristico accogliente e caloroso.

The appetizer of courgette flowers stuffed with ricotta and placed on a beetroot and celery cream is also delicious. Punctual and kind service. Very good quality/price ratio

25/11/2024: A wonderful Sicilian meal in a relaxed and calm restaurant. The service was wxceptional and all our fish doshes and pastas were tasty and well made. Local wine was served and orive was reasonable. A perfect meal in the most charming old town!
