The food was okay, but the service was abysmal. As a guest, I didn't feel welcome (I speak Italian). The staff seemed to lack motivation... a shame.

We sat there for hours, went for drinks first but ended up having dinner. Calmari with artichokes and meatballs were soooo good.

What a unique place! Inside, you find yourself in a huge hall that feels almost like a castle, with walls full of history.
The food was very tasty and fresh, and our waiter was absolutely lovely — kind, welcoming, and very friendly.
A truly special atmosphere and a wonderful experience overall.

I had a great time but there were a couple things that could have been improved. We ordered the lamb and it was super dry and overcooked. The waiter didn't do anything about it, didn't offer to bring a new one or even discount it. It was super expensive as well.

It was a truly wonderful experience. If you go to Rome, you must go to this restaurant. It was absolutely delicious, and Pietro was very helpful with his attention and suggestions.

Inn with a selection of high-quality meats. It's clearly a place known to the Romans.
The dining room is very original with its brick domed ceiling and side niches.
Authentic and serious cuisine. Wide selection of wines. The service is brisk, though it might rush the tourists a bit... and is more friendly with the regulars.

The restaurant is spacious inside, with just the right amount of space. Service is quick, if a little pushy. We each get an appetizer and a first course. The artichokes Roman-style and carbonara are so-so, but be careful of the bitterness. It's not offered, so if you ask for grappa, choose it from the menu. If you let the waiter choose, he'll select a very good one, in a 2-meter bottle, but at €15 a glass. It's good, for sure, but it's an unexpected blow.
