20/01/2026: A place with a long, multi-generational tradition – quail has been served since the 1950s.
Although the name suggests the restaurant specializes in quail, you can also enjoy other delicious, traditional Roman dishes here.
We also had a pleasant conversation with a local woman who occasionally assists the owner with serving guests.
The restaurant is not located in the city center, and as a result, it has retained its Roman charm.

20/07/2026: This was the highlight of our food and wine tour for sure. My family of 4 loved every dish.
19/07/2026: Had AI Spaghettari for take out one night and enjoyed their food. Went back to get takeout on a Saturday ngiht ay 8pm and was rejected to order take out even though their restaurant wasn't full. I'm not sure if that is a common in Italy but ended up at another restaurant around the corner.

02/07/2026: Everything was very nice, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly, the wait was normal, I found it a bit expensive, the rest was ok.
19/06/2026: Everything was good and everyone was friendly. The prices were a bit high, but it's a place for special occasions, so perhaps they're justified. Nice outdoor setting. I recommend the ravioli with buffalo mozzarella and pesto with a tomato topping.

04/05/2026: We went there because it was within walking distance of our hotel. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they somehow managed to arrange a table. The pizza, lamb, and desserts were excellent on our first evening. While we were eating, we made a reservation for the following evening. The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly. The food was fantastic (I especially recommend the T-bone). Many thanks to everyone, especially Yorgos.

06/07/2026: What a discovery La Gallina d'Oro is! If you're near Termini Station, this is the place to be. From the service to the cleanliness, everything was perfect. The waiters were incredibly kind and friendly, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. But the real surprise was the attention they paid to those with food intolerances: I've rarely experienced such attentive service on this front. The food, of course, was delicious. We'll definitely be back!

31/05/2026: An institution for supplì, the staff is very friendly, prices are average, but the rigatoni with oxtail are a little pricey.
Anyway, it's a rustic place that I like.
17/04/2026: The supplì were excellent, the rigatoni with pajata was superb, the lamb chops were delicious and cooked to perfection. I don't know what the bill was because I was staying with friends, but the person who paid said it was very fair!

01/07/2026: An excellent meal, including a starter, main course, and dessert. However, the service wasn't exceptional, rather slow even though there weren't many people there. The atmosphere, on the other hand, was very pleasant and welcoming.
01/06/2026: Truly delicious, and finally with a professional chef. The seafood lunch (cod bonbon, citrus spaghetti, and fried fish without burnt oil) was truly delicious, I must say, and there was a wide selection of wines and spirits. Well done!

26/07/2026: A round of appetizers, carbonara, and dessert cost almost €50 each. The carbonara was white, and tasted like a Chinese-Thai version of the one I make at home. Not to mention the service...
