28/10/2025: The dish turned out to be really tasty and well-prepared — you can tell the chef knows what they’re doing. It looks simple, but the flavor was great, with the sauce perfectly complementing the freshness of the vegetables. I also calculated the calories using the service mentioned in the photo attached to this review. It was super convenient and fast — now I recommend everyone try using this calorie-counting service. It makes tracking your meals so much easier.

14/06/2026: DON'T GO THERE – AVOID A BAD EXPERIENCE. Apparently, many of the 1-star reviews mention the same issue: terrible service. There seems to be a pattern of staff ignoring customers. The food was okay, but nothing special. We arrived, were seated, and then completely ignored for about 20 minutes while employees served people who had arrived after us. We weren't even given menus. Only after I loudly called out, "Excuse me, waiter!" did someone come over to help us. Interestingly, when I mentioned that we were visiting to learn more about the land of my ancestors, the attitude and service improved noticeably. Whether that was a coincidence or not, the difference in treatment was hard to ignore. Based on our experience, this restaurant appears to prioritize certain customers over others. There are plenty of other places where your business will be appreciated, so I'd recommend spending your money elsewhere.

14/06/2026: The service at Trattoria Dell'Omo was exceptional. Patient, careful, and warm from start to finish. You can tell they genuinely have empathy for travelers, which is rarer than it should be in Rome. The waiter who looked after us, the one working the front of the house (I am sorry I did not catch his name), was kind, caring, patient, and attentive the whole time. He treated us like people, and honestly that is what matters most when you are far from home. This is not a tourist trap. It is an oasis in a city that so often just wants to squeeze everything out of visitors without caring who they are. The pasta is wonderful, and the tiramisu was the absolute highlight of our entire trip. It is a little on the pricey side, but it is completely worth it. I recommend this place a thousand times over. If you are in Rome, go.

13/12/2025: Good local cuisine... "simply good," relaxed atmosphere, especially suitable for families with children. Nobody really minds if there are children running around... it's a family restaurant.

01/06/2026: We had lunch at this osteria and had amazing carbonara and amatriciana! Delicious!!! 🤩🤩🤩 The service is TOP!! Mrs. Mary looked after us, very kind and available to accommodate our requests. The Antica Osteria Croce is definitely worth recommending, also for the speed of service. We'll definitely return in the future and will definitely do so again. I recommend it 🤙

11/06/2026: I dined at this restaurant several times eight years ago, and it was pleasant. Now it's gotten a bit worse, both in terms of the food and the number of people. Endless tables of noisy people taking pictures before sitting down, kissing and hugging, the baby, etc., etc. Never again.

09/05/2026: The quality/price ratio isn't great at all, even though the food isn't bad. The ingredients are of good (but not exceptional) quality. It's not a place I'd recommend, however. The prices are too high, but then again, it's hard to "save" money in certain cities. You can't eat in Rome/Milan anymore.

07/06/2026: very generous portions, great ambiente, nice people! i really think of it as authentic roman kitchen, it tasted great. but only four stars because i had the feeling that i wasn't taken as seriously as the other guests (one woman eating alone). i saw that everyone else had the table beautifully set up, covered by two fresh table cloths and glasses. i didn't. but maybe just a coincidence.
