14/07/2025: A must in the area. The mixed antipasto and spaghetti with clams were top-notch. Nothing to complain about. We're in our mid-30s. The wine will increase the price. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the lack of parking and the outdoor space isolated from the street. Eating outside amidst the chaos of the Trionfale is not exactly ideal.

25/06/2025: A family-friendly, non-touristy place where you can eat truly well, both traditional Roman cuisine and seafood. Definitely worth a try.

28/06/2025: Very welcoming place and very kind staff. We were with a group of friends a couple of weeks ago. Raw materials of the highest quality from mushrooms, porcini, to cured meats, passing from meat cooked in the right way to excellent desserts. We will definitely return in the future!

12/07/2025: Dining at Le Bistrot is always a pleasant surprise. Their ability to reinvent visually appealing and delicious dishes while strictly adhering to vegan guidelines is unsurpassed. The service is prompt and courteous, with attention to detail and a comfortable atmosphere. If you've never been there, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

03/07/2025: Disappointment despite good intentions We went to this place to celebrate a birthday for two, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The environment was not very well-kept and did not give a feeling of cleanliness. The welcome with prosecco and crisps in a bag was not particularly appreciated. We waited a really long time for an appetizer, half a liter of house wine and two dishes: long times, without any explanation being given to us. The lentil meatballs, cooked in the air fryer, were burnt at the base; we pointed it out, we were asked if we wanted more, we said no, but they still appeared on the bill. The tagliatelle with asparagus were extremely salty, so much so that we left them on the plate. Positive note: the place is pet-friendly. We were very sorry to end an evening that should have been special like this.

13/07/2025: La Caraffa is a fantastic choice if you're looking for great value for money. The pasta is incredibly tasty, with generous portions that really satisfy. The fish is fresh and well-prepared, and the service is friendly and attentive. A great spot for a delicious and relaxed meal !

22/07/2025: I couldn't have imagined such deliciousness and organization at such a low price, especially for a place like this. 10 cuisines, all special and for everyone, even vegans and vegetarians like us. Even the desserts were incredible, with only the freshest cream, which you can even spoon onto the chocolate ones. And to pamper you even more, they even use a piping bag to pipe cream! I was blown away by the delicious and crunchy battered vegetables, the steaming cacio e pepe tonnarelli pasta in the squash, and even the simple baked potatoes with rosemary. But everything, everything was special. There's also the spa for €30 a day, including the outdoor pool.

28/05/2025: They served us half-cooked pasta, quite tough and inedible. After leaving us with half-eaten dishes, the owner questioned us, and we told him it was tough. He told us it was "Al Dente" to convince us because he saw us as tourists, when I've been living in Bologna for four months and have tried their pasta more than enough. The truth is, it was very tough, I don't know if it was because they were eager to close or because they didn't get it right. I won't be back.

08/07/2025: Roman cuisine “de mamma”’without infamy and without praise… I was a guest and I have no idea of ​​the quality/price ratio. When I went to the bathroom you could smell the old dives “de na vorta” really sore point the very dangerous parking on via Ardeatina. For my tastes I would not go back but still worth trying…

29/07/2025: Recommended by our hotel staff! A restaurant with a classic, relaxed atmosphere. La Francescana is a traditional trattoria beloved by locals. The hotel staff recommended it as a great place for delicious pizza, so we decided to give it a try! I ordered the salami pizza, and my companion ordered the porcini risotto. The pizza was perfectly toasted, with just the right balance of saltiness and cheese. 🍕 The risotto was also rich and had a strong mushroom aroma. We even had dessert, which was not too sweet and tasted refined, leaving us very satisfied. The interior has a retro, relaxed atmosphere. The service was attentive, but the wait was a little long. I recommend it for those who want to enjoy a leisurely meal. ☺️

21/07/2025: This has got to be THE rudest restaurant staff since I have ever dealt with in my ENTIRE life (and I am a VERY patient customer, I promise). We are tourists. We asked for advice from the waiter and acknolwedged (hey, we are oblvious tourists.) His looks were always like (that’s such a stupid question. Oh, you think this is really Italian?). At some point he literally pushed my wife’s tissue that she was using aggressively off the menu pretending that he is pointing to something in it. When we left and I asked to report to the manager, the manager refused to take accountability and literally told me (the problem is in you, not my waiter). I was with my wife and 2 kids (13 and 7 yr old). Ugly experience and extremely ugly, rude, and unaccountable staff. I would give zero stars if there were any.

01/08/2025: A very nice surprise. We came as a family because it was close to our Airbnb. I ate the best lemon escalopes of my life there, with an excellent sauce. My children had very good pasta: butter and parmesan and basil and cheese ravioli. A family welcome, good value for money. I recommend it.

Additionally, I opted for a scaloppina with mushrooms, which was quite enjoyable. They promptly provided an electronic invoice, and I appreciated the generous portions offered at a reasonable price.
