17/07/2026: 1st night in Italy. Checked in to hotel at 9pm after 20 hours of travelling and were walking to get outside. Looked inside. Simple, full of groups of Italians eating and laughing. Went in and they couldn’t have been nicer. 3 more weeks in Italy after that night and it might have been best meal of the trip. I had Cacio e Pepe and my wife the ravioli. I had a Negroni that definitely was the best of the trip.
17/07/2026: Amazing restaurant. Everytbing was superb and couldn’t speak highly. In an area full of tourist traps, my family and I enjoyed great authentic Roman lasagna. Highly recommend as it was nice to get a great dessert other than gelato.

05/07/2026: I returned after a long time and it was once again a wonderful experience. A very elegant location, excellent dishes that are beautiful to look at and delicious to eat, excellent service. The waiter who served us was excellent and very knowledgeable. Everything was perfect, we'll happily return, this time spending less time there. It's always a guarantee, the owner is very kind. I highly recommend it 🤗

03/06/2026: This restaurant in Trastevere is very good; the pizzas are tasty but not exceptional, though still quite good! The waiters are friendly and helpful, and they have a lovely outdoor terrace at the foot of a church. It's perfect for dinner in the spring and summer when the weather is pleasant and there's a lively atmosphere in the streets.

18/07/2026: Due Ladroni lives up to its name; they were the only thieves because they stole my heart and a little bit of my wallet, but it was worth it. Their amazing pasta was delicious and incredibly good, and even the owner chatted with us in a very friendly way. Highly recommended.
10/07/2026: We came here for an early dinner and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant has a warm, traditional Roman atmosphere, professional service, and a welcoming team. Everything we ordered was fresh and cooked perfectly. The Rigatoni all’Amatriciana was exceptional, the grilled calamari was tender and full of flavour, and the slow-cooked beef was excellent. The fresh fish display at the entrance is also a great indication of the quality of the ingredients.
The combination of authentic food, attentive service, and great value for money made this one of our favourite meals in Rome. If you’re looking for genuine Roman cuisine away from the typical tourist spots, Due Ladroni is definitely worth a visit. We would happily return.

16/07/2026: By far the best carbonara I've ever had. The seasoning and consistency were perfect, absolutely nothing to complain about! The only downside is that the atmosphere is a little warm, but nothing too bad! It's totally worth it!

16/08/2026: Vittorio is a restaurant in Trastevere that doesn't offer the typical tourist menu, but where even Romans can leave satisfied with traditional dishes. Dishes are served in pots and pans, a common practice in Rome, but it's especially fun because the portions are generous and beautiful to look at. In addition to classic Roman cuisine, the chef offers his daily specials, which offer truly interesting gourmet options. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is extremely friendly and willing to listen and accommodate a wide variety of requests. Highly recommended.

11/03/2026: Family atmosphere, fast service, traditional home cooking (they also serve fish).
We found the restaurant by chance, had dinner the first night, and returned the following days; the most delicious amatriciana I've ever had, a perfect balance of flavors, the "scarpetta" (scraping bread) a must; the lamb chops were fragrant and perfectly cooked, and the Roman-style artichokes were indescribably sweet 😍😍😍 reasonable prices; highly recommended 🔝

10/05/2026: I spent a week in Rome, and after a day exploring the monuments, I went there for dinner.
The place is very welcoming, and the staff is always courteous and ready to accommodate every request.
The owner is extremely kind and always available. They know exactly how to make you feel at home.
The food is excellent, and I guarantee you'll have a hard time leaving anything on your plate.
Definitely the best restaurant in Northern Rome.
