23/03/2025: A real "homemade" tavern that really has the taste of home. In addition to the delicious food, the real gem is Isabella who with her friendliness makes you leave with a smile. We will definitely be back!!

09/03/2025: We ate in this tavern by chance, they welcomed us with a bit of luck even without a reservation, there were two of us. We ate well, amazing bread, homemade fettuccine, equally delicious meatballs with sauce like grandma's, Mrs. Isabella was friendly and approachable. I will return with friends. Recommended!!!!

18/04/2025: It was our last night in Rome. We had 16 people and Coso accepted our big party. They made it the most memorable night for us. The owner (I think) made us feel welcomed and recommended their best dishes. Our kids were loud but he made them happy. Food was delicious. He topped us off with free dessert and homemade lemon shots. They were fantastic! What a great ending to this trip. Thank you Coso!

11/04/2025: I give 1 star only for the food; we received detestable service from ONLY ONE waiter inside the restaurant who had inappropriate and bad behavior towards us.

13/04/2025: Excellent menu that combines the Roman gastronomic tradition with dishes from ancient Rome. Cozy place in a unique location like the Antica Via Appia. The owner's explanation about the mystery sauce and his anecdotes are an extra emotional touch.

02/04/2025: Bella esperienza culinaria tipica lontano dai percorsi turistici Ragazzi giovani e intraprendenti che rispettano la tradizione della cucina romana. Pulito ottimo servizio e porzioni abbondanti con prezzi molto interessanti Abbiamo mangiato una strepitosa carbonara e un ottimo piatto di saltimbocca. Nel tavolo a fianco servito un invitante cacio e pepe in una forma di pecorino Che dire: un po’ lontano dal centro ma vale la pena. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo

17/03/2025: If you are a lover of Roman cuisine you definitely cannot miss this gem in Via del Pratello. This place is not a simple Roman cuisine restaurant: this place is an experience. Unmissable fried foods, I put the emphasis on the artichoke and the supplì; all great first courses superbly prepared. Just thinking about it made me hungry again! If you were to pass through here you risk coming back a second time, then a third, a fourth...

25/03/2025: Booked the same day...lucky because it was all full...we start with fried artichokes (8pcs) made on the spot very good... carbonara....really well cooked and abundant...we continue with meatballs in sauce...excellent 3 slices of bread serve as a minimum.. We close with a pear and ricotta cake...(not among the best). Price in line...I point out the young waiter who with his smile made the service more pleasant

25/03/2025: Food pretty sad especially for a Restaurant but Service was great and the wall paintings looked nice. We were on a class Trip to rome and were forced to eat here every night. Were served tasteless noodles and either soggy or dry chicken with a side of sad salad. Wouldnt recommend

16/04/2025: Traditional Roman trattoria, frozen in time and therefore special! The artichokes and the first courses are excellent: cacio e pepe and carbonara. Highly recommended!

11/04/2025: We found the place through Google and its reviews, on the outside it goes unnoticed but on the inside it is cozy. The gnocchi are definitely a must try.

17/03/2025: Non si salva nulla. Carbonara e antipasti senza sapore, molto meglio quelli cucinati a casa. Prezzi da ristorante di pesce per un piatto di pasta e dei carciofi e qualche fritto. Personale e servizio veramente di basso livello. Nemmeno paragonabile agli altri romani (Al Velavevodetto, Volemose bene, Felice)

10/04/2025: We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Da Regina today. It's very cozy and the service is very nice, it feels like Nonna's :) very homely! The price-performance ratio cannot be beaten, we have never eaten so cheaply and it was still very tasty! We'd love to come back! Please note: no card payment possible :).

14/04/2025: Historic venue in the Appio Latino area. I have known it for many years especially for the pizza which is really very good. Internally the place has remained as it was, with tables and chairs that are a little uncomfortable especially for those who are tall (but not very tall) with legs that struggle to stay under the table. The place works on shifts and that's something I don't like, furthermore we waited despite booking at an established time which wasn't that. As I was saying, very good pizza and starters, service to be seen again with the girl at the reception who I understand could be tired but a half smile every now and then doesn't hurt. Overall, a recommended place if you don't have problems with eating shifts but then the pizza is really good. Good prices for the quality/price ratio.
