08/06/2026: Wonderful experience!!! The food at Angelo's is magnificent. Dishes are prepared with the highest quality ingredients and with love! The fried fish is dry and delicious, crispy and golden on the outside. The location, practically next to the Vatican 😉, is harmonious and clean. Our business dinner was fantastic! We'll definitely be back.

13/08/2026: Honestly, a disappointment. We went because of the good reviews, and the experience fell far short of our expectations.
None of the dishes we ordered stood out.
We didn't have a particular problem with the service or the place itself; my criticism is specifically about the food and the value for money. In a city like Rome, where you can eat exceptionally well, I find it hard to understand such a high rating.
11/08/2026: I honestly am surprised by the super positive reviews. We arrived and were shown a room to choose a table from.
We ordered the 3 different pasta version plate and a salami pizza incl. 2 glasses of wine.
The pasta arrived after 3 minutes, and also tasted like fast food. The sauces tasted as if it was just passata and pre made carbonara sauce and the pasta was far from properly cooked. The pizza was super thin with what seemed like ketchup as the tomato base and the salami they had on top was cut in half from a supermarket packaged salami.
The wine itself tasted like a 2€ supermarket bottle.
I would honestly not recommend going here if you look for restaurants with good reviews as this is just misleading.

16/06/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us by a receptionist (Fabio) at the nearby Hotel Medici. It turned out to be a wonderful discovery: the food was truly delicious and reasonably priced, unlike the often-distanced, more centrally located restaurants in Rome where you pay a fortune for very, very poor food. Furthermore, the entire staff was professional and courteous, making our stay in Rome a pleasant one. For all of this, this place is highly recommended!

05/08/2026: We visited this beautiful restaurant. The food is very tasty and well-prepared. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, and it's very good value. The only flaw is that the waiters are a bit pushy, clearing away dishes while you're still eating. This happened more than once during the evening. It definitely needs improvement. Otherwise, great.

02/06/2026: We had booked a table for two, and they seated us right away and brought us drinks right away. The service was top-notch. The waiters were very kind and helpful, and the food was divine. The appetizers and main courses were truly excellent, not to mention the Pan di Stelle tiramisu, which was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.
02/06/2026: Highly recommended! Everything was delicious and high-quality, and the staff was wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Price: €16-25 per person depending on what you eat, but at €17 per person we left feeling full. Come here if you're in Ariccia!

08/08/2026: I could try to convince you to try this place, confident that it's the best carbonara I've ever had; I could unleash my finest vocabulary to painstakingly and delicately describe the layering of the ricotta and sour cherry tart that refreshed my palate at the end of a superb meal; I could describe the immense joy I felt tasting that orange-infused brioche, which catapulted me back to my childhood in Sicily; I could seduce you with the "siren song," just as the excellent music on the background playlist did, taking me by the hand from the beginning to the end of the dinner; I could write this and much more, but I'll just say this: come, try it, and take Marco's wisdom for your guidance, and I'm sure you won't regret it.
03/08/2026: We sweated at dinner: the air conditioning was practically nonexistent. The food was nothing special.

The food was truly delicious, the cocci were truly delicious, the fried food was truly spectacular, the vegetables were beautifully grilled, and the Amaro del Capo tiramisu was truly special. Everything was served with coffee, water, etc., and the price was super fair. I highly recommend it.

The wine cellar isn't very well-stocked, and especially the selection of wines by the glass is limited. It seemed a contradiction to the name.

13/06/2026: I had lunch there and I can't help but write this review. The food is home-cooked, as if my mother had cooked it (and I rarely say that), and the prices are fair. The lady at the table is very friendly. I'll definitely be back.
08/04/2026: This is a historic trattoria we've been frequenting for several years (though less frequently than we should).
Chef Paola's food is exceptional, as are all the owners' courtesy, and the place is well-kept and welcoming.
We're not great wine connoisseurs and don't drink much, but when we do order wine, we ask Andrea for recommendations, and he's always given us excellent advice.
We really miss the legendary fettuccine (especially the Idillio portions), which have become quite a challenge for Chef Paola, but the current menu has always left us very satisfied!

18/06/2026: Absolutely the best choice we made. LUCA took care of us perfectly, offered suggestions and was super dedicated to making sure we had what we needed. He even gave my husband a cleaning spray for his stain on his shirt! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We had the seafood risotto and pollo i pepperoni. 🤩
