25/05/2026: A great find. Good food, friendly and welcoming owner, and a lovely atmosphere both inside and out, with tables right in front of the Muro del Mandrione. I'll definitely be back to try the traditional Roman dishes on the menu.

10/06/2026: After years of coming to Rome and trying numerous restaurants here, this restaurante really deserves to get a positive review. By far the best pasta that we ate - it’s creamy, guanciale always on point and price is super fair and a lot cheaper than most other places that have worse quality. The waiters are super friendly, sometimes need some more minutes but that’s Italian vibe (also you see they work hard). Try this place you won’t regret it

01/06/2026: After a tour of Vatican City, this place was the perfect spot for lunch. The staff explained the menu very clearly in English, which we really appreciated. The young man who helped us was accommodating, patient, and attentive. He took the time to explain the dishes and point out what to avoid based on dietary restrictions. The service was top-notch, and the food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. And don't leave without trying the tiramisu it was the perfect way to finish the meal! Overall, a great restaurant with excellent service, outstanding food, and a lovely outdoor seating area. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: I was a little apprehensive about the prices at first because it's close to the Vatican, but the prices are very good. In fact, compared to places near the Vatican that treat you like they'll kick you out in 15-20 minutes, this place is a treasure. The performance meets expectations. So, the initial assessment is successful. The supli (a type of Turkish dessert) seemed good. But the sauce they use for plating the supli is legendary. The pizza is very good. We don't normally prefer turkey, but this place made us eat it. The small pizzas are even better. If you're very hungry, order two or three different kinds. The drinks menu is extensive. They have everything you could want. One of the important criteria is that the restrooms are spotlessly clean. Another important criterion is the staff. There was a young guy who had just started working there; I hope he doesn't leave. I would come back just for him. The service is excellent. Greetings to the manager of the place. 🙂 If there's space on the sidewalk, you can sit outside, but the road next to it is quite busy, so there's a lot of car noise. Also, the sidewalk is crowded, so there's a lot of footsteps. But it's a great place to relax, saying "dolce far niente" (a Turkish expression meaning "without a doubt"). There are tables inside too, by the way. It's a nice place, I liked it honestly.

01/05/2026: I ate at this restaurant on April 10 and 11, 2026. The food was excellent, homemade, and generous. The staff was kind and courteous, and Rufino, the owner, was very friendly. He made his customers feel at home.

25/04/2026: We've known this wonderful trattoria for many years, and it's in a beautiful location! We always love coming back: the food is delicious, fresh and authentic, traditional and local (especially the lake fish and homemade pasta, but also other options, like meat, cured meats, cheeses, and seasonal vegetables). The bread and desserts are excellent; the service is excellent, as the owner Rufino and his staff are always so kind! 😋💪🏻💚

14/05/2026: The place is really nice with a beautiful terrace, the lunch was exquisite and the waiter Alessandro was very courteous. Of course it's a little expensive but I recommend this address.

23/05/2026: Coming back here after thirty years is quite an experience. Many things have changed over time, but the essence remains the same: the traditional dishes are still impeccable. The atmosphere is rustic and informal, which we like, although there is one small flaw: the door is always left open, allowing a bit of drafts to circulate, and, honestly, eating with the smell of smoke coming in from those outside is a bit annoying. The food, however, remains excellent, and the ricotta and sour cherry tart was the undisputed star of the table. A final note on the bill: fair prices for everything except the rabbit. €18 for the portion you see in the photo seemed perhaps a bit excessive. Definitely worth trying.

07/06/2026: Quite and quite nice spaghetti Carbonara, but maybe we had too high expectations from previous reviews. I think maybe for the price (16 euros) the portion should have been at least a little bigger. You didn't get very full unfortunately, but again, it tasted absolutely excellent! and that's why it also gets 4 stars.
