27/08/2024: We went two nights in a row, good food with excellent portions, halfway through the second I was already full. Typical Roman cuisine, run by Romans and frequented by Romans, so it means you eat well. Excellent and fast service, everyone was kind and friendly despite the pace of orders they have to manage. On the second evening a good-looking boy immediately recognized us and immediately found us at the table

Gricia is delicious and the same goes for the meatballs and saltimbocca, made with quality products. Very kind, friendly and non-intrusive staff. Very good value for money. Advised.

25/07/2024: Always a confirmation, never disappoints!! Traditional Roman dishes (and not touristy ones as they are now found everywhere) are excellent and plentiful. Prices more than fair. Family and friendly environment. Always compliments from northern friends who want to taste the authentic local specialties. Highly recommended🔝🔝🔝

25/07/2024: This place was highly recommended to me by a trusted work colleague of mine who has been frequenting it for some time and willingly goes back every time he has the chance. Precisely for this reason, we couldn't back out and we knew we had to try it. Their "workhorse" dish is certainly the cacio e pepe which is creamed in the form of pecorino in front of the diners and served shortly afterwards. We therefore decided to take one portion and one instead of carbonara and then taste them both. Both really workmanlike and delicious, it's criminal not to clean the plate. Finally we opted for a half amatriciana, leaving the curiosity of the second course for another time. The latter is also excellent with an excellent sweet tomato sauce. For the rest, the environment is the informal and warm one of a Roman tavern that will not leave you indifferent for any reason.

28/08/2024: Great place to have a mega binge with friends, eating and drinking without worrying about anything. For the rest, the quality does not excel, normal starters (the best course was the buffalo mozzarella which you pay extra for), very salty first courses, normal second courses. Keep in mind the quantities but unfortunately the quality of the food is sufficient or little more.

07/08/2024: The food was alright and the owner gave us a "free" pasta as a gift. I think they made too much for other guests. A nice gesture! It tasted great. But if you give a free meal to your guest, don't add it to the bill afterwards. He took it personally, when I called him out on it, and said "we treat each other like family here in Italy". If he would've ask us to get a cheaper serving of pasta, we probably would have said yes.. But you can't do it afterwards. We didn't pay for the pasta, he missed out on an extra tip and we won't be back there. Nice try though. Many other restaurants in that neighborhood with better food and better service.

12/08/2024: The food and wine are extremely good, particularly the vegan tiramisu. Great vegan options in general. Quite a touristy place

10/08/2024: Nice selection of vegan offering. However the vegan carbonnara was just melted vegan cheese with barely any bacon. And the vegan lasagne even though very tasty was a size of a child portion or smaller and was listed as "main course"

There are vines and olive trees outside, and you can grab some grapes while sitting at the table. 😉 The food is exquisite and fresh, perfectly prepared. Bows to the cook. Very nice service.
