10/06/2026: I had a really great time at Palmira, with all the traditional Roman dishes, the real deal. The wine was good, and the carbonara was excellent, creamy and flavorful, just as Rome demands. The host also welcomed me warmly and genuinely, making me feel at home. A place I'd love to return to.

30/06/2026: Historic traditional tavern in front of the former flower market, what can I say? Every dish seems to be cooked as if at home, very rustic but elegant atmosphere.

12/08/2026: Food was decent but small portions that are not worth the cost. One of the waiters kept insisting on a tip and made us feel super uncomfortable and unwelcome. Seemed annoyed when we ended up giving them a few euro tip. Overall would not recommend because of the bad service and clearly targeting foreigners for tips.

17/05/2026: This restaurant has a lovely, simple, and homey atmosphere. The waiters are friendly and approachable. We loved all the dishes—starters, main courses, and desserts. The portions were generous and reasonably priced. The moka pot coffee at the end was a real treat. It's definitely worth a visit, and I'll definitely be back.

15/05/2026: The carbonara was delicious!! So good that both my boyfriend and I had seconds. Kindness and humanity are hallmarks of this restaurant: I forgot my wallet on the chair, and they were incredibly kind and went out of their way to find me. Once they got in touch, they were super helpful in getting it back to me in Como (I'm from Como). A special thank you!

14/05/2026: The Caprese salad, a fairly standard dish, was bad. The tomatoes weren't ripe and the mozzarella was rubbery. Then I had the minestrone soup: overcooked. The vegetables were mushy. My partner ordered pasta with anchovies, which was okay, nothing special. The tables are tiny; we even spilled an entire glass of wine and weren't offered another. Based on the Goo rating, I think this restaurant is overrated.

17/04/2026: We chose it because of the positive Google reviews, but they're fake, in my opinion… the service leaves much to be desired, and the pizzas are just as bad. It's a tourist trap.

12/05/2026: This restaurant made me feel right at home in Rome. The female owner and servers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they all had a distinctly Italian sense of humor. TLDR: You absolutely must try this place in Rome! All the pasta dishes are delicious, and I highly recommend the appetizer Parma ham with Jewish-style atichoke. This restaurant was recommended by the manager of our accommodation. On our first day, we ordered what I believe to be their signature carbonara, rigatoni all’ amatricana, Roman-style veal brisket, and an octopus and artichoke salad. I wasn't feeling too well that day, but I still finished everything (because it was so delicious and I didn't want to waste any). The owner even treated us to gelato (it wasn't included in the bill, but after we told her, she said, "Dessert on me!" 🫶) Since we were only staying in Rome for two days, one reason was that we didn't want to end our trip with disappointing food, and the second reason was that we couldn't forget this restaurant. The next day, the owner and the waiter from the previous day remembered us. This time, we ordered a different pasta dish – Fettuccine alla gricia (it had fava beans, but it was delicious), Parma ham with artichoke as an appetizer, a steak, and pudding for dessert. 🍮 I hadn't tried artichokes much in Taiwan; they're supposedly a signature dish in Rome, and I've heard they're very nutritious. Personally, I liked the taste. The restaurant had a very homey atmosphere, and you could tell it was a popular spot for locals. The waiters and owner were very welcoming yet polite. While the reason I remember it so fondly is that I didn't have a satisfactory pasta meal during my trip to Italy, the experience from the moment I entered until I left was unforgettable. It was the best food I had in Italy, but the experience offered was definitely more than just delicious food. I hope you'll have the same experience when you dine here.

10/05/2026: Perfect lunch! I've never had better Jewish-style artichokes, and even the wedges were special! The pasta was perfectly cooked, not to mention the flavor. Between the cacio e pepe, amatriciana, and maltagliati with artichokes, I couldn't choose the best. The tripe was made just like my grandmother used to make. We were speechless. The staff was very kind and helpful! We'll definitely be back!!

28/04/2026: A good osteria in the San Giovanni area. You can choose between meat and fish dishes. The appetizers are very good, accompanied by excellent, fresh bread. Recommended for a casual dinner where substance prevails over appearance. The dishes are simple yet authentic and flavorful, and the prices are in line with other restaurants in the city. Upon entering, you'll experience a sense of culinary tradition and authenticity.

27/04/2026: On the recommendation of Roman friends, I dined at this restaurant, and I must say it did not disappoint. This Roman trattoria is a great place for lunch or dinner, a relaxing experience with excellent food. The atmosphere is superb, and the service is top-notch. 26/06/2026: Dinner for two: We ordered two main courses: a chicken steak and an Angus steak. We requested medium rare, but they arrived well done. Furthermore, the dishes didn't arrive at the same time, but staggered: the chicken steak came first, followed by the Angus steak 5-10 minutes later. Both the delivery of the dishes and the customer's request need some rethinking. Overall, acceptable.

18/07/2026: The food is good, there's no doubt about that; the portions are generous. However, I must report a small discourtesy: I asked to change seats to get closer to the air conditioning (it was very hot), but they didn't grant it because the seat I requested was part of a table for four (I was alone). I should point out that I was the only one in the room, so they could have easily let me change seats, thus avoiding sweating while I ate.

12/06/2026: I was there a while ago and had a fantastic carbonara. Today I tried an indescribable amatriciana, incredibly salty, not to mention the amount of pepper. I didn't even finish the meal. I left immediately after the first course. The atmosphere is rated two stars because the outdoor area was a sauna.
