19/05/2026: Super authentic and delicious Roman cuisine!! The Amatriciana pasta, carbonara, and oxtail stew were all delicious. You need to make a reservation otherwise there’ll be a long wait!

22/07/2026: Very nice. Daughter had lemon chicken. Excellent. My other daughter had the gnocchi and it was great. I had the caccio e pepe. Good. Found the cost for truffles was a little excessive (10euro). Pasta was good service great. Owner came out to say hi and chat, really nice. Coffee was good

13/05/2026: Went here for the 1st time never again. When we arrived they seated in a tight corner and gave us the menus. 2 seconds later they asked if we were ready to order. Give us a chance to read the menu. We ordered the food and the pasta was not cooked long enough very chuck the service was terrible the worst ever since we came to Rome. We have tried a few restaurants and this is the worst ever. Not once did any waiters come up to us and asked if everything was ok. And when I went to pay the bill they had the cheek to charge us 2€ per person service charge what a joke. Stay clear of this place
09/05/2026: Since opening my art studio and shop on Via De Gasperi, I've often come to Goose for a lunch that's all about goodness, freshness, and a great atmosphere. Excellent dishes, flavorful ingredients (today the octopus carpaccio was exquisite), and a non-touristy atmosphere, which is very important for locals! See you soon!

29/07/2026: I grew up in the neighborhood and I can tell you it is by far the most Traditional spot still remaining there that does everything perfect perfectly, never deviate from tradition, and everybody is so nice that works there they will treat you great no matter who you are. Absolutely recommend! I was gone for 12 years and they welcomed me back with open arms :) and they didn’t judge me for being trans

16/06/2026: We used this place for a short break before visiting the Colosseum. It was past lunchtime, and nearby restaurants refused to serve just coffee, but this place was fine, which was a great help.
The sofas were very comfortable. It was hot during our sightseeing, so being able to rest was very much appreciated.

14/05/2026: Two friends and I had lunch at this typical osteria, and I must say we ate divinely, especially the mezze maniche alla carbonara, which was simply exquisite. Excellent service and price, as well as the owner's friendliness... very, very good.

15/07/2026: It was the best carbonara I've ever had.
When we sat down, we were asked where we were from, and a couple of minutes later a waiter approached us speaking Russian. It was very nice. The waiter's name is Javlon, and he's a nice guy. When I asked what cocktails they had, he said they could make anything I wanted. A super restaurant, but it's a shame we visited on the last day.

11/07/2026: The place is truly delightful. The staff is kind and welcoming. I happened upon a less crowded evening and had a pleasant chat with the staff. The bartender created a cocktail on the spot, tailoring it to my tastes. It was all served on a table overlooking the Opera House square. I then decided to stay for dinner and was offered a table, but I preferred to stay on the balcony, which is more intimate and quiet. The food was excellent, and so was the dessert. The background music is a real plus, and the playlist was perfect. I loved the combination of the cocktails with the background music and the phrases that describe the place; I immediately identified with it. When I return to Rome, I hope to return.
07/07/2026: 4.8 stars for me, the location is a bit inconvenient because you need a hotel card to enter but just ask person to let you in. The rooftop tables were clean and tidy, and the food was delicious, but the food wasn't a large portion at all. Overall, this is a good restaurant with good food.
