29/03/2025: Like most, I passed by this place after visiting the Vatican Museum. The owner was touting and that threw me off. The menus also looked tacky and they gave cold bread in a bag. Surprisingly, the food was pretty good. I ordered carbonara and calamari and both were huge portions and pretty worth the price. Would I travel here just to eat? Ofc not. But if you are craving a bite before or after your visit then heres a good stop for you

28/03/2025: Very tasty and friendly staff. Puntarelle salad was delicious, Carciofi alla giudia - very good. Deserts tiramisu and cheesecake with berry jam, moderate sweet, extremely delicious. Definitely recommend!

09/03/2025: I celebrated my birthday here and what can I say... Everything was perfect, super generous portions and the kindness of the staff at the highest levels! I have never been to this place but for the quality of the products, the freshness and the service it is worth going back!!! (thank you very much to all the staff!)

18/02/2025: An osteria that maintains the tradition of cuisine, but not in terms of cheapness, where I rediscovered the flavors of Roman cuisine that I hadn't tasted for a long time. Finally a bruschetta worthy of the name, made with real homemade bread (another rarity)

13/03/2025: in questo ristorante c è la migliore carbonara del centro di Roma con una salsa cremosa e il guanciale croccante ,ottima anche l ombrina che però purtroppo non la troverete sempre, nonostante sia in centro è un locale non turistico ,una felice scelta per chi vuole cenare o pranzare in centro.

22/03/2025: We enjoyed our last honeymoon night in Rome here. The food was wonderful and the menu is perfect with small portions available for you to try many different authentic dishes. The server was kind and the environment was intimate. The wine menu was very tourist friendly as it explained the many Italian wines they offer. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Rome.

17/03/2025: Excellent dinner in a typical Roman osteria. The environment is characteristic and very welcoming, the staff is friendly and very knowledgeable! The spaghettoni cacio e pepe are excellent and the tiramisu is obligatory!!

20/02/2025: The other day, I heard from the hotel staff that it was recommended, so I stopped by! I ordered pasta and pizza, and the pasta noodles were hollow, chewy, and delicious! The waitress spilled a lot of oil on my jacket when she was cleaning up the dishes after I finished eating. When I told them, they removed the stain right away. It was the first day of my trip, so I was in shock, but I was surprised when it returned to its original white color! thank you very much! I hope you have the opportunity to visit Rome again🫶

01/04/2025: All good, just one small note, I would have made the sauce for the oxtail thicken a bit more, too runny...for the rest, the cacio e pepe was worthy of a Grammy, the meat from the oxtail was touching because it melted, a beautiful culinary experience in true Roman style...the staff was beautiful and very friendly

10/03/2025: I've been going for years, for lunch or dinner, and I've always eaten (and drank) very well, spoiled for choice because each dish is better than the next. The place is very nice and warm. The staff is very kind and helpful.

23/02/2025: Delizioso ristorantino sito a Grottaferrata non lontano dal corso principale. Poco distante anche un piccolo ma comodo parcheggio a pagamento causa strisce blu. La Location presenta due sale: una più grande e una più piccolina ma molto gradevole. L'ambiente è rustico ma grazioso. Il servizio cortese, gentile, disponibile. Menù accattivante: gli antipasti sono svariati e tutti invitanti; anche I secondi alla brace devo dire che sono notevoli anche perché il ristorante si chiama "Mangia fuoco" ; per ultimi metterei I primi secondo me meno interessanti anche se noi ne abbiamo presi due. Devo segnalare le pizzelle fritte con alici e puntarelle davvero visionarie; la grigliata Mangiafuoco è spettacolare ; e infine il gelato alla brace fatto da una sfera di cioccolato ripiena di gelato con all'interno amarena: qui abbiamo raggiunto l'apice della degustazione. Prodotti di qualità trattati benissimo. I carciofi fritti messi sulla pasta sono paradisiaci. Rapporto qualità e prezzo ottimale. Poi la cosa bella è che esci e per smaltire le calorie fai due passi per il centro di Grottaferrata fino alla Basilica di San Nilo che vale la pena vedere. Giornata bella, soleggiata e aria pulita. Cosa desiderare di più dalla vita!

19/03/2025: Wonderful place found by pure chance. We found a table without a reservation. Very kind service, truly exquisite and abundant dishes, very fair prices. It is really worth going there to taste typical Roman dishes, where they welcome us with a smile, courtesy and kindness. Highly recommended!!!

06/04/2025: Typical Fraschetta in Ariccia, crowded place, a good sign that the food is good. We had classic first courses of Roman cuisine: tonnarelli cacio e pepe, alla gricia and rigatoni with "vaccinare" tail, all excellent and at the right temperature. We continued with grilled sausages and kebabs with sautéed chicory, all well cooked and tasty. Fair price, highly recommended AAA+++.

10/03/2025: I recently visited this lovely restaurant in Rome while traveling solo. The crème brûlée was absolutely amazing! I wanted to capture a photo of it with the fire, but it had gone out. Luckily, I think the person’s name was Laki (or Landi , I might not be remembering it correctly), but he was incredibly kind and and brought me another crème brûlée with the fire just so I could get the perfect photo. The service was exceptional, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality. I’m giving 5 stars because of Laki’s help. Highly recommend this place!
