14/03/2026: The food was delicious, but the portions were woefully inadequate. The service was subpar, with rushed explanations of the dishes and appetizers. We definitely got the impression that our waitress would have been better suited to fast food. The bill was far too high for the overall experience, leaving us feeling that the evening would have been much better spent elsewhere.
02/03/2026: Good as always. I've been several times and can't find any flaws. There were four of us, each ordering two dishes (either a first and second course, or an appetizer and second course) and coffee. We also had a bottle of wine and two glasses of sparkling wine. Anyway, every dish was excellent! I'd say it's a guarantee.

06/02/2026: An old-fashioned osteria with old-fashioned flavors. Everything is wonderfully simple (and that's a compliment!) and wonderfully good. Authentic cuisine, with very attentive service in a welcoming setting. Chickpea and clam soup, tuna tonnarello, mixed fried fish, sautéed broccoli, tozzetti, poached truffle, half a liter of white wine, and water for €55. The price, too, deserves its five stars. Everything was perfect, even the bread.

03/03/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at Il Piccolo Mondo restaurant, and the experience was truly wonderful. The location is enchanting and meticulously maintained, with a warm and relaxing atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease.
The dishes were delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and presented with great attention to detail. Each course was an explosion of flavor, a testament to the passion and expertise of the kitchen.
The service was attentive and punctual, with friendly, helpful, and always smiling staff. You could sense their professionalism and passion for their work.
It's definitely a place I'll gladly return to and one I recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy excellent food in a pleasant setting.

10/03/2026: Best meal we have had in Italy! We stopped here while cycling the Via Appia and had their Sunday lunch menu. Staff were friendly and helpful and the fresh pasta was delicious - better than the Michelin guide one we had in Rome!

19/03/2026: Anyone who quotes €20-30 per person is telling you a lie! The dining room is small but nice; to go to the bathroom, you cross a room where on the left you see trays of fried food ready that morning (I hope). The fried appetizer was disappointing: everything was reheated in the microwave. It's a shame because given the low turnout, they wouldn't have taken long to make them on the spot. The first courses made up for it (fabulous carbonara and good amatriciana). The lemon veal cutlet was decent, and the tiramisu was also good. €85.

22/03/2026: A classic Roman place serving home-style cuisine. Recommended because everything was very good and the pasta portions were generous (bombolotti).
Reservations are recommended because the place isn't very large, but the service was quick and appreciated.
We ordered supplì, bombolotti carbonara, a quarter of wine, water, and tiramisu. Prices were reasonable.
20/03/2026: Nothing special and then, €12 for a plate of pasta, seems excessive to me

19/12/2025: Fantastic traditional Roman dishes with fast service and a warm welcome. The first sitting at lunch is highly recommended, more so than the second sitting for obvious time reasons...but you should definitely try everything!!! 🤗😋😋
19/12/2025: It was a very pleasant surprise. In the suburbs, you wouldn't expect to find such high-quality dishes, such a wide variety of options, such professionalism, and, above all, low prices.
They're truly excellent. Just be careful: always book; word of mouth spreads quickly and the place is always crowded.

23/03/2026: Super little place if you’re looking for authentic pizza away from all the touristy spots. Service was great and the kitchen accommodated dietary needs. Opens at 6. We arrived at opening and had no wait but place did fill up quickly.

The price is moderately high but in line with expectations.
Highly recommended.
03/03/2026: This is my second time at this restaurant, and it didn't disappoint either. The cuisine uses fresh, local ingredients, but isn't overly sophisticated. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous, as is the owner. It's out of the way, quiet, and I highly recommend it. There were also families with children, but it wasn't crowded. I'll definitely be back.

06/02/2026: Beautiful discovery.. through a friend we ate very well we went out for a 🍕 pizza and I must say excellent also good fried foods light and not very greasy ..... also excellent desserts with many varieties ... fast service even though the restaurant was packed (I recommend booking) kind and friendly staff very friendly ✋ .. I recommend trying ... we will return soon to taste all the varieties of fish that the menu offers....

08/03/2026: A pleasant family dinner after a visit to the Ara Pacis, which is quite close. A quiet place that makes excellent pizzas and delicious desserts (some homemade). I wanted to try the braised beef, and that was also decent.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Since they didn't show availability online, we called and they reserved a table for us, with the promise to leave by a certain time.
Average prices for the area.

03/03/2026: A simply fantastic experience at this traditional restaurant in the heart of Rome!
The service was impeccable: the lady who looked after us was incredibly kind and sweet, always smiling and attentive to every detail. She made us feel truly welcomed and at home.
And the food… wow! My carbonara was simply spectacular: incredibly fresh, perfectly creamy, and full of authentic flavor. You could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a truly Roman experience, with excellent traditional cuisine and exceptional service. I'll definitely be back!

10/01/2026: Roman and Abruzzo cuisine blended together. Steeped in tradition, Al Tinello d'Abruzzo is now in its third generation of family management. Recently renovated, the restaurant features two dining rooms, an open kitchen, and light colors.
We chose cod fillets, spaghetti alla gricia with artichokes, mutton skewers, and sautéed chicory.
A combination of Roman and Abruzzo staples. The ingredients are excellent, as is their preparation, cooking, and presentation. The service is professional and unobtrusive.
Located in the Tiburtina area, just steps from the metro, train station, and Tibus bus station. Good value. Reservations recommended.
