18/09/2025: Nice local restaurant vibe. Good food and friendly service. We enjoyed our evening there. Would definitely go again. There were mostly locals there I believe with some tourists mixed in. The pasta portions were maybe a bit smaller than what we got at other restaurants but that meant we were able to order the second course of meatballs and sausage. We were happy with the house red wine (1 bottle = 0,75l = 10€). Highly recommend. 2 starter + 2 pasta + 2 main + 1 bottle house red wine = 57€

30/08/2025: Within sight of the Colosseum, on a side street in the city center, you can eat here at a reasonable price. The pasta was good, but we especially liked the focaccia we had as a starter. Simple but very tasty.

20/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant almost by chance, during a quiet midweek lunch, because it had the most convenient opening hours. What a wonderful discovery! The food is excellent, so much so that we all left feeling full but not weighed down. There were five of us, and we shared two mixed appetizers to try a little bit of everything, plus meatballs in tomato sauce and fried pizzas (montanare), which I highly recommend: truly delicious! The prices are fair, and the atmosphere is welcoming, thanks in part to the family-run business. The host who served us was kind and approachable, helping make the experience even more enjoyable. When we return to Ariccia, we'll already know where to go: highly recommended!

It's our first time here (lunch break) and we passed by chance and found the right place: artisanal products made with passion, the owner gives us a general overview of the dishes, in conclusion, excellent in everything. I WORK WITH AND FOR PASSION.

03/10/2025: Every time I am in Rome I have to come to Perilli for the carbonara. Absolutely the best in the world. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Great food where the locals eat, not a tourist trap. Away from the busy downtown but worth the walk. Definitely recommend.

05/09/2025: I ate it on the street at a typical street food restaurant. The chicken cacciatore dish was described to me as a poem. It was pleasant, yes, but the real surprise was the supplí. Saying they were amazing doesn't do it justice. I'll be back for a dinner based solely on supplí 😋😍

30/08/2025: I'm updating and confirming my previous review. It was and remains a great idea...and in the end, it satisfies not only the palate but also the stomach, without breaking the bank. Near Ponte Milvio, amidst a swarm of restaurants and little eateries, there's this gem that offers not the usual sandwich...not the usual pizza, but a pizza pocket filled with your choice of a traditional Roman specialty (plus a selection that changes daily). I tried the meatball with tomato sauce...exquisite (and I always ordered that to be on the safe side, Ed.). To be on the safe side, I also ordered a supplì (gricia style)...with water, the bill came to less than ten euros, which isn't even a drag on your wallet. The staff is young and friendly, and the service is easy, even for takeout. I recommend it, although I think the service (and the food) have become somewhat standardized over time, especially given the large turnout that its success (and the fame of its other outlets) have brought and consolidated. 09/09/2025: A historic and truly distinctive location, nestled between the arches of an ancient aqueduct and surrounded by the greenery of La Villetta. A quaint venue with helpful and accommodating staff. High-quality dishes, with a wide selection to please everyone.

15/09/2025: Stay away! We came here for our last dinner as it seems popular every time we passed by. However, it turned out to be the most disappointing meal we’ve had in Roma. The food is terrible and the older woman who runs the floor is openly racist, especially toward Asians. Looking at other reviews, this isn’t the first time she’s been called out for her behaviors. She seems to carry years of bitterness and takes it out on foreigners (sadly). The rest of the younger waitresses are kind, but one toxic person ruins the whole experience. Signora, capisco l’italiano. Quello che ha detto alle nostre spalle è stato razzista e inquietante. Dai suoi precedenti commenti, sembra che non sia la prima volta. Mi dispiace che la sua vita misera l’abbia portata a spargere tanto odio.

11/09/2025: For those who want to experience a traditional Roman restaurant, Trattoria Sapori di Casa is the place to be! At the waitress's recommendation, we tried the mixed bruschetta, and they were delicious. We then moved on to the classic first courses: amatriciana, carbonara, and garlic and oil with homemade pici. All delicious, but the carbonara was absolutely stellar, top-notch. A special mention also goes to the homemade desserts. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. We enjoyed the background music, with some truly interesting selections (Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Police, etc.). Thank you so much, staff.

25/08/2025: Excellent food and smiling service! We really enjoyed our time at this restaurant: excellent cuisine, tasty and carefully prepared dishes, and a pleasant atmosphere. A special thanks to Noemi, who served us with warmth, helpfulness, and courtesy throughout the evening. Always smiling and attentive, she made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

21/08/2025: I've been dining at La Ciociara since 1969, and the experience has been truly enjoyable. I ordered a delicious cacio e pepe, creamy, and with an authentic flavor. My companion chose a crispy and flavorful fried cod fillet, accompanied by a side of chickpeas that enhanced its flavor. We also enjoyed the vegetables dressed with a garlic sauce and the baked potatoes, both truly excellent. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is welcoming, ideal for enjoying traditional Roman cuisine or a pizza with friends. Definitely a place to consider for those who love good food in Rome.

11/09/2025: Family dinner, warm welcome, friendly and welcoming wait staff, especially David, aka Ciccio. Excellent dishes, beautifully presented and cooked with a gentle touch. The desserts were a spectacle and a delight for the palate. Prices were reasonable. Highly recommended.
