11/06/2026: Amazing! We have been to fancy restaurants in Rome but La Fraschetta di Castel Sant'Angelo is better than all of them. We skipped one of our reservations just to come back. The food is full of taste, one of those experiences that make you be greatfull for being there. The service is so warm that feels like your grandma's home. 100/10

09/06/2026: A small restaurant in a San Lorenzo Roma side street serving quality food in a mostly outdoor setting. The fillet steak was superb, tender, cooked to perfection and delicious, as were the calamari and risotto. The desserts were home baked and also delicious. The staff were friendly and the service good. The side street walls are covered in graffiti but the restaurant owners either side have done their best to mask it with pretty lights hanging around. Well recommended and value for money.

12/08/2026: What a lovely lunch!! It was all chosen at random because we had a busy day ahead of us, so I looked for a place nearby for a quick lunch. I swear, I couldn't have imagined a better idea! I called to make a reservation and we were greeted warmly. The food was excellent, tasty, authentic. The location is breathtaking, and I know it's always hard to find a table in the evening, especially since the place is absolutely stunning! With that heat, there were plenty of seats for lunch. There were three of us, and we stuffed ourselves with an appetizer for two, accompanied by the house white wine! An unforgettable experience; we were there (unfortunately) for an hour because we had an appointment. I never wanted to leave the table because everything was divine. Excellent place, I recommend it to all connoisseurs.

10/07/2026: Wonderful. We came in April and July, they're great! I highly recommend them. A guarantee of quality for an aperitif! Nizar served us several times in July and he was really pleasant, helpful, attentive, and understanding (we were a party of 8, including 4 children under 12). Superb food and excellent value for money.

25/07/2026: Excellent osteria with a welcoming atmosphere and attentive service. The menu offers a nice selection of Roman dishes, all very tasty. The portions are generous, and the pasta is always well-seasoned. The wine list is also excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. An excellent choice for a dinner with friends.

18/04/2026: The food was typical Roman fare. Nothing special, and the fried dishes were overcooked and oversalted. The staff was very friendly. The hall was as loud as a football stadium. The toilets were run-down and filthy. Absolutely disgusting to think that if this is okay for the owners and staff, something that absolutely ANYONE can see, what must be going on in other rooms that guests don't have access to...

05/08/2026: A tiny pizzeria near Termini station. We tried the pasta carbonara on the waiter's recommendation and it was delicious. We also really enjoyed the tiramisu. I would definitely go back.

22/07/2026: As soon as I got off Fiumicino Airport with my cousin, we booked lunch at this trattoria. Despite the intense heat, we were greeted impeccably. The staff were very friendly when taking our orders; we ordered meatballs, a potato, onion, and guanciale frittata, a carbonara, and a arrabbiata. The house white wine was included. Service was prompt, the food excellent, and the prices reasonable. Recommended, especially if you're returning from a trip.

24/06/2026: A good Roman pizzeria, with thin pizzas and a wood-fired oven, and delicious homemade supplì. The menu also features quality meat, fish, and an excellent selection of first courses. Good value for money.

09/08/2026: We were delighted to find this restaurant/trattoria on social media that has adopted vegan cuisine alongside traditional cuisine. Talking with the charming owner until late at night after closing (with the waiter's friendly look that cut our backs! 🤣), he tried offering vegan cuisine and noticed it was receiving a huge response. The fascinating thing is that even over the phone during the reservation, they asked us what type of cuisine we preferred. To our astonishment, we found our table ready with an entirely vegan menu! ❤️ PLEASE NOTE: The portions are very generous. If you want to try everything, split the dish or ask for a half portion. 🤣 They know it too, so they recommend it! 🤣 ...and that's where word of mouth comes in. We'll be back. * * * * *

08/08/2026: I'm celiac and I think it's fantastic! The food is excellent, and the gluten-free menu is comparable to the regular menu. The amatriciana was delicious. They make their own gluten-free bread, and it's delicious, with a lovely crunchy crust. Not to mention the zuppa inglese: delicious! I go back every now and then when I can; it's a restaurant where they pay great attention to their celiac customers, better than some of the AIC (Italian Celiac Association) restaurants, which are rather disappointing. Very friendly staff and fast service.
