02/07/2026: A typical family-run Roman trattoria. I ate the best carbonara in Rome, and my husband had an exquisite gricia. Then we ordered roast lamb and pan-fried chicory. Our waiter, Walter, was very friendly and helpful. The owners and staff make you feel like family.

02/08/2026: The trapizzino with octopus is delicious and highly recommended. I arrived on the hottest day of the hottest summer, at 3pm... Very kind and fast guys, ice cold beer and good street food!!

20/07/2026: It's always a transcendental experience going to Trapizzino, no matter where they are located. Everything is super good, super fresh, great prices, and the staff is always polite and friendly. You have to stop by at least once a month!

27/07/2026: The service is well based on who you are. If you’re a local, then you receive smiles, and warm welcomes, and your wine is even poured for you. If you’re not a local then expect to receive a depressing experience. It’s just sad when the vibes of the restaurant are pleasant and exciting and you get a waiter who clearly expresses the need to make you feel unwelcome, it ruins everything. So don’t take it personal when you’re not a local and your waiter treats you like crap it’s just the name of the game here.

26/07/2026: We were guests at La Campana Restaurant on Saturday, July 18th, and were blown away. We were greeted with smiles and that typically Roman warmth that is simply inimitable. Given the scorching heat (a whopping 42 degrees outside), we opted for a table inside: a choice that was amply rewarded by the delightful climate and unique atmosphere, surrounded by the history of this incredible venue. Listen up: it's the oldest restaurant in the world, open since 1516! This "small" detail alone is enough to make the experience unforgettable. The food we ordered, strictly Roman tradition, was exquisite and impeccably cooked. We ordered: ​Appetizers: Carciofi alla giudia (rating 10/10) and Roman-style stuffed zucchini flowers (rating 11/10) ​First course: La Carbonara (rating 15/10, perhaps a bit overrated, but you'll understand once you try it!!) ​To drink: House wine - Montepulciano DOC "Per La Campana" ​Dessert: Apple pie with vanilla ice cream (rating 9/10). ​Total price: €80 for two. ​Considering the historic location, the kind and attentive staff, the top-notch local cuisine, and the more than fair bill, I think this is a restaurant worth visiting every time you pass through Rome. Highly recommended!

09/06/2026: We arrived at 7pm. The restaurant was relatively busy but we were virtually ignored. Our first course was really tasty. However, they left our plates for a half hour while serving those around us. Our waiter disappeared and no one checked on us again. We had to request the removal of our plates. Our second was served and no one ever came back. My mother ordered calamari and shrimp. She likes a sauce and we never got one. The waiter explained that it was new staff and offered us a tiramisu. It was wonderful. The experience was disappointing but I would give them another try.

07/08/2026: The Padta was overcooked and the cacio e pepe was inedible. It's a shame the place is nice, but the food leaves much to be desired.

03/08/2026: One of the best Tiramisus in my entire life! For this Tiramisu , i will visit this place again wenn i am in Rome next time , but not only for Tiramisu of course , everything i tried was very delicious, very friendly stuff and i really enjoyed having dinner around only locals!!! Very nice place 👌

25/05/2026: The tartare and marrow appetizer was spectacular, followed by the meat, which was very good. I also tried the desserts, which were delicious. I highly recommend it! Parking is in the small square in front of the restaurant.

21/05/2026: We arrived intending to start with drinks and then have dinner. They didn't like it from the start, and the unwillingness to serve us began. We gave up on having dinner and left. There were five of us, and we were going to spend quite a bit. We won't be back.

20/07/2026: Very cute location, unfortunately the waiters were extremely flirty and playful. We just wanted to enjoy a dinner but we were annoyed by the comments and the way the waiters were staring at us ! Additionally, the restaurant is full of flies !! Impossible to enjoy the meal with flies and bees all around our food. I don’t recommend.

05/08/2026: An unforgettable August evening. First of all, the VENUE, Roman. Truly Roman, the kind of place from the past, the kind that exudes tradition. Then the FOOD, delicious. Obviously, it's essential to listen to the chef's advice. Highly recommended.

21/05/2026: My wife and I stumbled upon this place by chance while looking for somewhere to eat, and it was the best place we ate during our vacation. The food was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even offered us a couple of complimentary glasses of Limoncello. Highly recommended!

20/05/2026: Large portions. Surprisingly American sized. Oddly, during a 5-week trip to southern Europe, this was the only place where the server bluntly asked for a tip.

26/05/2026: We were recommended this place by our AirBnB host and it was delicious. The steak had a wonderful flavor, well-seasoned and cooked the way we ordered. Pasta was also very good. Service was fantastic, Emiliano was very kind to show us our way through the menu, explaining patiently the different choices particularly as it was our first day visiting Rome. Very recommended!

20/05/2026: This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host for exceptional Argentinian steak. They were spot on - my husband said the steak was the best he ever had. I had a chicken dish that was nice, and really good chips. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere on the terrace was buzzing and enjoyable. Great find.

08/07/2026: Excellent carbonara, as a big fan I can say it was one of the best I’ve ever tried. The server was very attentive even though she was the only one on the floor. The place has a nice vintage atmosphere with a lot of history. I’d recommend :)

04/07/2026: One of the best trattorias I've ever been to! We arrived during summer truffle season, and there was a pasta dish for an extra charge (I don't remember how much the pasta itself cost, but with the truffle, it was 19). The truffles themselves weren't canned, but fresh! If you're there during truffle season, I definitely recommend trying it. The ravioli were pretty good (but I've already fallen in love with truffle pasta, so ravioli can't compare to it for me). For drinks, we ordered a liter of house white wine. A carafe like the one in the photo cost 10€. For dessert, we had tiramisu. It wasn't very big, but it was very tasty. I recommend this place if you're looking for an inexpensive but delicious meal.

26/06/2026: The place is well-organized and charming...especially the food is excellent. There are plenty of public parking spaces next to the restaurant. Finally, the service is impeccable and the staff are truly friendly. I highly recommend it.

16/06/2026: A pleasant discovery just steps from the Pyramid: quality and atmosphere.** I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria La Piramide in Bomarzo, and I must say the experience absolutely lived up to expectations. The restaurant is charming, with a refined, welcoming atmosphere, ideal for those seeking a relaxing break after a day exploring the area's beauty. The real highlight of the evening was the pizza: thin, light, and expertly prepared. It's rare to find such a digestible and tasty pizza, with ingredients that taste top-quality from the first bite. But they don't stop at pizza: we enjoyed several courses, and everything was excellent, a sign of a kitchen that works with care and passion. The service was friendly and attentive, making guests feel at ease from the moment they entered. It's the perfect place for both a casual dinner and a moment of indulgence in a charming setting. Bomarzo offers so many wonders, but ending the day in a place where you can eat so well and relax is an added bonus that I recommend to anyone passing through. I'll definitely be back with great pleasure.

08/08/2026: A good traditional restaurant on a quiet street where the food is well-prepared with original daily specials (gnocchi with mussels in lemon sauce). The waiter spoke French and was very friendly. Good value for money.
