18/05/2026: There were four of us for dinner. We visited the restaurant because of the good reviews. However, we couldn't agree with the reviews. The food was mediocre and the service was anything but attentive and friendly. We wouldn't go there again.

16/05/2026: We went there for lunch and for dinner the following evening. Service, food and atmosphere was excellent on both occasions. No hesitation in recommending it.

08/08/2026: Authentic, typical Roman restaurant, practically perfect in every way! Excellent food served by friendly and professional staff. They make a dream carbonara. We had lunch there today and are coming back for dinner...hopefully we can find a table. Highly recommended!

11/06/2026: We had lunch at La Caravella Roma and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. I ordered the spaghetti while my wife had the ravioli, and both dishes were delicious, well prepared, and full of flavour. The service was attentive and professional throughout our visit, making us feel welcome without being intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a leisurely lunch while exploring Rome. If we find ourselves in the area again, we would certainly return for another meal. A very pleasant lunch experience that we can happily recommend.

05/08/2026: Overall, it was a lovely evening at Consolini. The food was very good to excellent, and the ambiance was very appealing. However, the service was extremely disappointing, especially considering the restaurant's high standards. The young, undoubtedly trained waiter served us while chewing gum (!) and seemed completely unenthusiastic. He did his job, but without any warmth. He didn't ask if we enjoyed our meal, how we wanted our filet cooked, or if we wanted anything else to drink. A truly welcoming atmosphere looks very different.

08/07/2026: Excellent restaurant, favourite spot in Rome out of all the other's we visited. The food and service was excellent. We didn't have a reservation but they were very accommodating, had a wait time of just 30min, so we went to the bar across the street to grab a quick cocktail until our table was ready. Highly recommend the Rabbit for a main course and WildBoar pasta.

08/07/2026: I visited on Friday at 7:30 PM. I ordered: Marinated octopus Vongole Bianco Sparkling water The total was 37 euros. The marinated octopus was especially delicious and impressive. I also appreciated that the waiter recommended dishes from the menu in English. I would definitely like to visit again when I come to Rome.

18/06/2026: Mama Miaa 😍😍 This place is definitely better than the ones in the city center. We tried it on our first day and said this is real Italian pizza. Everything was truly perfect.

14/06/2026: Excellent restaurant in the city center, serving cuisine that blends Roman tradition with international influences and creative reinterpretations of dishes that are a must-try. The baked potato carbonara and eggplant meatballs as appetizers are excellent. The meatballs are delicious, and the traditional Indonesian nasi goreng is a must-try. Service is a bit confusing. Outdoor seating is available without reservation.

You can immediately tell that high-quality ingredients are used and that the cooking is done with passion. The service was very friendly, attentive, and warm, making you feel welcome from the start. The ambiance is cozy and authentically Italian – the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening. The value for money is also excellent. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. I will definitely be back on my next visit!

11/06/2026: Eight days in Italy and this was my only bad dining experience. I ordered the meatballs. When my dish arrived, I cut one in half and the meat was pink and barely warm. The other two were the same. It was visibly undercooked. I told our server that they were undercooked and without even looking he said "No, it's fine. Eat it." I refused and told him I was not eating it because they were not cooked through. It took several rounds of insisting they were inedible before he took my plate. As he turned around he mumbled "You still have to pay for it." He then came back and told me they were fine, it's just the color of the meat. I agree, it was the color of raw meat. His attitude always worse than the raw meat. We were not charged for the dish but the meal was still ruined because of the server.

20/07/2026: The best meal we had in Rome. Filet was the best I ever had and my wife and son loved it as well. The owners could of not been nicer. A must when you are in Rome
