30/10/2025: We went for lunch. The place is nice, but it's a swanky farmhouse restaurant and it's too expensive for being served with plastic plates and cutlery. Gourmet cuisine in a farmhouse restaurant is ridiculous. €80 per person for "tastes"??? But the most ridiculous thing is that if you want to reserve a table on the veranda, you have to send a deposit, and if you cancel, you lose it. It's not like Cracco was the chef. I'd say this is a place to avoid. Instead, go to Cavi di lavagna al melograno and you'll eat amazing food.

05/01/2026: A simple, no-frills, old-fashioned osteria. Home-style cooking, but with excellent dishes like fried food. Be warned, the portions are very generous! In short, a place with no pretensions but great substance and heart. Recommended!
03/01/2026: An osteria always has a few hidden gems, and this one is no exception. The seafood salad and battered vegetables are delicious, but the spaghetti allo scoglio here is pure poetry. I recommend it 1000%. The service is good, and they know how to recommend. Try the spaghetti allo scoglio.

11/01/2026: I had lunch with an excellent first course with fish sauce and a delicious green stockfish, all at a great price. I'd already dined there before and had eaten very well at a fair price.
06/01/2026: I used to come here with my parents way back in the old days. 😁 We returned with our son and our two dogs today.
Very efficient service, welcoming place, good-quality products, creative and traditional dishes. The fried octopus was a bit too tasty, but it was crispy, soft, and very well served.
All the dishes were generous. A special mention goes to the Russian salad, which was truly balanced and melting on the palate. The wine list is adequate. Dishes can be chosen from the general menu or the daily menu. Dessert is served in decidedly oversized quantities; I'm writing this to save room for it. 😀

High-quality ingredients, a wonderful atmosphere, and a warm welcome. One of those historic osterias worth protecting.
05/01/2026: A truly positive experience. A lovely place, well-decorated and with well-spaced tables, in a central area of Genoa yet secluded enough to enjoy a quiet setting. Easily accessible by public transport and on foot. The ingredients are certainly of high quality, and you can taste it. We enjoyed fried anchovies and lean capon, both expertly cooked. Then the stewed cuttlefish and spaghetti with fish sauce were truly delicious. The service was impeccable, with its friendliness, helpfulness, and attentive service. The wine selection was good. We were a bit rushed due to our theater appointment, but we'll be back to enjoy other dishes at our leisure. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Highly recommended!
