Valentine's Day Dinner in Recco An old restaurant just outside Recco, accessible by car. We ordered the SEAFOOD MENU, which included: "Cuculli" (a welcome dish), seared tuna, avocado, pink grapefruit, turmeric mayonnaise, and caramelized onions; red shrimp "bottoni" (small rounds) with their bisque and toasted almonds; pistachio-crusted croaker (small drumstick) with sweet potato cream. Everything was delicious, with generous portions and friendly service. To finish, a surprise heart-shaped dessert with strawberries and chocolate. 07/07/2026: The food was very fresh. We ordered Mediterranean clams and soup as an appetizer, followed by fried seafood 🦞 – the portion was generous, usually double the usual amount I get elsewhere 😅. The dining area faced the mountains, quiet and elegant, a unique experience during our seaside vacation. When we paid the bill, the owner said their restaurant had been around for sixty years – how come we didn't know about this hidden gem sooner!

Trattoria Beppa

05/07/2026: Sunday lunch, best to reserve. Very good traditional dishes, such as pansoti in walnut sauce, Italian-style fried fish, and cima alla genovese. Efficient and friendly service. Fair price.
28/06/2026: I'm a Beppa regular. They're absolutely guaranteed; there's not a single dish you won't want to miss. And if you find their carne salada, you're forced to order a second helping. The service is fast and attentive, and the location is the same as always: you either love it or hate it.
