Incredible value for money. The atmosphere and service are old-fashioned. It's like being at home, but they cook, and they do it well. Don't miss the Ligurian-style rabbit.

A typical trattoria offering excellent value for money. Ligurian cuisine and friendly service are served in a simple but clean and well-kept setting. There were 15 of us on a group of motorcycles, and in just over an hour we had a fantastic lunch for €20. Excellent!

There are places you go not just to eat, but to feel good, and this trattoria was just that for us. Thirteen of us went for lunch on a Saturday, and the place was packed, yet we didn't have to wait.
The cuisine is one of those that makes you feel at home, with classic dishes prepared truly well: pansoti, ravioli, roast beef, rabbit, steaks, cutlets... authentic flavors, simple and made with care, just like the ones of the past.
But what struck us most was the atmosphere: the staff is kind, welcoming, and sincere, and manages to make you feel not like just another customer, but almost like family, like among friends.
It's one of those trattorias that leave you with something more than a good lunch and make you want to return.

A romantic trattoria with a traditional feel. Hearty dishes and reasonable prices, the atmosphere is casual yet delightful. The entire staff is friendly and approachable, a key factor in making everyone feel warmly welcomed. The place is simple and peaceful, nestled in the valleys above Rapallo.

The best trattoria... wonderful management by Luciano and Anna... unfortunately on Easter Sunday they had to deal with a table of rude and disrespectful people, but Anna was able to handle them with her trademark honesty... as always, thank you for making the people we bring you for lunch happy! You are fantastic...

Incredible view and location: just a few kilometers from the heart of Rapallo, Trattoria La Rosa still manages to exude a typical Ligurian flavor: sweet (due to the hospitality of the staff, the food, and also the price) and tart like our Ligurian hills! (In the sense that, like all earthly trattorias, they have their shortcomings, especially on Easter Monday!)
We felt welcomed as if we were in a grand hotel because we arrived with a disabled person, and they (despite being on a narrow street) let us park, complete with a staff member wearing a bib and earpiece, and even helped my mother-in-law out!
Very good food!

A typical Ligurian trattoria where you can spend hours laughing with a breathtaking view.
The waiter, Giacomo, is a marvel! The atmosphere is very pleasant, not for those who are aficionados, but for those who want to experience the local culture without prejudice or preconceptions. I'm vegan and would invite you to add a nice plate of beans or farinata, but that would make me a vegan too, so wine and salad are fine too. As long as no one bothers anyone, everyone will be happy. 🤩

As you've seen, the pansotti are exceptional and worth it. The appetizers are also good. I would have added a giardiniera with vinegar, which goes perfectly with the cured meats.
A special mention goes to the waiter, who's all remembered.
I'd gladly go back.

Pansoti with walnut sauce are superb (the photo is of the dish near the end). The atmosphere and cuisine are homely and authentic, with a view from the veranda stretching from San Maurizio dei Monti to the Portofino promontory.
