A unique experience We stumbled upon this charming osteria by chance, and we couldn't have made a better choice! From the moment we entered, we were struck by the welcoming and characteristic atmosphere of the place. The walls are tastefully and creatively decorated, with original model airplanes hanging from the ceiling, lending a touch of personality and old-world charm. It's a truly one-of-a-kind place, transporting you to another era. The service was impeccable: the staff was kind, attentive, and very willing to recommend the best dishes. But the real surprise was the food. We sampled the house specialty, Ligurian-style sea bream, deliciously prepared. The stewed version with cherry tomatoes, olives, and potatoes was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The other dishes we saw passing by also looked succulent and beautifully presented. The portions are generous, and the price is absolutely appropriate for the quality of the food and the overall experience. We highly recommend Osteria Baccalà to anyone who loves good food and authentic atmospheres. If you're looking for a place to eat well, feel pampered, and immerse yourself in a unique atmosphere, this is the place for you! We'll definitely be back.

A must-see when visiting Savona

So, as requested, I'm leaving a review. I found the food preparation to be rather inadequate: for example, my pasta was decidedly overcooked. Considering the cost, for a little more, you could easily eat much better elsewhere. The prices are competitive, and the location is excellent. The restaurant itself, it must be said, is also very beautiful and well-kept. In my opinion, the service needs updating; I found it slow, with wobbly tables and waiters who didn't seem particularly enthusiastic about their work. Perhaps I was having a bad day, and for that very reason, I'll increase my review to three stars: it seems more fair to the overall experience, and I want to give it the benefit of the doubt. However, as of today, I don't feel like returning or recommending it. Oh, I forgot: thanks for reminding me to leave a review.

The interior of the restaurant is unique, full of knick-knacks that make it very scenic and truly special. The service is average, the food is good, and some traditional Ligurian dishes are truly delicious. The prices are a little high. I recommend it.
