27/08/2025: A simply perfect evening at Agriturismo Le Prunelle. Nestled in the tranquil Cannalonga area, this restaurant offers one of the most breathtaking views you could wish for, overlooking the heart of Cilento and the sea. A panorama worth the visit alone, it fills the eyes and soul. The cuisine is the true protagonist: an authentic experience of the most authentic flavors of Cilento tradition. We began with an appetizer of rosemary pizza scraps, offered on the house, delicious, a start that immediately demonstrated the exceptional quality of the menu. The meat and side dishes were a testament to this: excellent quality ingredients, expertly cooked with an almost sacred respect for the authentic flavors. The suckling pig deserves an honorable mention: tender, flavorful, and impeccably cooked. Simply fantastic, one of those dishes you remember for a long time. To round things off, we were treated to an out-of-this-world Annurca apple liqueur, a spectacular digestif that capped off a memorable dinner. But a place isn't just about good food and beautiful views. Sincere praise goes to Raffaele and his entire staff. Their friendliness, promptness, and attentiveness to our every request made the experience even more enjoyable and special. We felt pampered and at home from the first to the last minute. If you're looking for authentic Cilento cuisine, a warm welcome, and a dream location, Le Prunelle is a must-see. Highly recommended!

15/02/2026: We went here for the all-you-can-eat option, but it was anything but all-you-can-eat... leaving aside the limited, paper-based menu, we could only order three portions per order. The pieces arrived with tons of sauces that took away the flavor of the fish. Each piece could only be ordered twice. Considering the price, the wait, and the quantity, never again.

09/01/2026: I went just today to eat. On weekends, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, they're open for lunch and dinner. From Monday to Thursday, dinner only. The menu is on paper and you call out a couple of dishes at a time. It's not very extensive, but it makes up for it in size. Everything is delicious. Some very special things, like the tartare. In my opinion and to my taste, I didn't like them, but surely someone else will.

28/08/2025: The place is basic, and it's nice to sit in the square. Unfortunately, the wait is long, and the fried pizza is a bit high! They had issues with the fryer, so it's worth another try.

01/11/2025: Neither good nor bad! A brioche with dark chocolate and jam and a croissant with a nonexistent lotus cream, just on top, for a total of €7.50. The feeling of a croissant is delightful, just like you show in your promotional videos. Instead, that was a plain cocoa croissant. First and last time!

08/02/2026: I had dinner there with my family, and I can say that the staff is very kind, but I wouldn't say the fried food and pizza were inedible, but almost... the fried food was super frozen and badly fried, the pizza was tasteless and undercooked.

02/09/2025: We went to this beach in person 20 days before our vacation to ask if there was availability for an umbrella for a certain period. They explained to us that the situation wasn't easy for them (which I understand). They also said there wouldn't be any problems, the space would be available; we just had to contact them a few days in advance. We wrote a few days before and they told us that the entire period wasn't available and that three days would be vacant. That's fine. They gave us the price (which wasn't the one we'd discussed, but that's fine; it was a busy day, she must have been confused). We tried to negotiate the price a bit and were told that they weren't a stall and that they don't hold auctions. That's fine, we apologize and accept, and we send the deposit. On our first day under the umbrella, the weather was practically unbearable, and the lady kindly advised us not to go down and that she would let us make up for it. This gesture was appreciated, and we promptly repaid her by eating (deliciously) on the beach despite having a house just a few meters away and a supermarket right next door. The surprise is that, if you get a period of uncertain weather (and I don't mean bad weather), the lines for umbrellas are halved and the party begins, something we obviously hadn't been told about (just like the shower, which isn't included in the umbrella rental; it's €15, including a €5 deposit for a card—well, that's fine, too). Basically, if it weren't for the staff at the bar, the spotlessly clean open kitchen, and the empathetic and professional lifeguards, this review would have one star. From the moment the lines are halved, everyone RIGHTFULLY wants the service they paid for, the place they paid for. Since it was frequented by a very relaxed, adult, and well-mannered clientele, there were no major problems for 10 days. The beach was self-managed, except that on the last day, an argument broke out between the beachgoers and the owner (who pretended to be the manager) came down and asked my pregnant partner and I to move the umbrella we'd paid for because she thought we wouldn't be going on the last day (despite the fact that it was expensive) and that we hadn't told them the days before that we'd be using it until the last day. And then, last but not least, she said, "Go to the back row because I'm in charge here and I make decisions." We didn't start any arguments; we simply pointed out that we were under the umbrella assigned to us. They're lucky because they're in an area with few alternatives: a tiny beach with umbrellas glued together. Your lounger is practically glued to the one next to it, maybe 20-30cm apart at most, so anyone in that area is almost forced to use it. The alternative would be the public beach. There were four of us (my partner, my parents, and I), but every day we set up our umbrellas on the public beach (since we'd brought them for the open-air days), so as not to crowd together even more (also because it's prohibited by the rules). Since it's very likely that this will be denied, I'm attaching a photo, one of which shows how the water practically rises, forcing us to remove the umbrellas (which really bothers me, and in fact we were silent for the entire duration of the holiday, and despite this, we were told who's in charge and who's not). Kindness is probably mistaken for foolishness.

24/11/2025: I ordered a poke to go. Some of the ingredients seemed stale, hard, and mushy. The woman serving me was efficient, but without even a smile; she seemed annoyed and huffed. Unfortunately, the overall experience wasn't the best.

25/10/2025: We were welcomed by a very friendly young man who was able to adapt to our language and explain to us how the bowls worked. We ate very well, I highly recommend him.

13/08/2025: Rude staff (the girl with glasses) was not at all friendly or helpful with customers. Cheesecake was too sweet.

19/07/2025: City-center prices, station-bar quality. Anonymous breakfast, exorbitant bill. Not even the taste justifies the effort.

20/02/2026: We visited this place many times and we really enjoyed it, staff was always kind…however today there was a really rude man, who pushed us into ordering a table service (that we never wanted and never had it), of course it was more expensive and they messed up our order, because we ordered two coffees and one Coca-cola zero, we were served two coffees and one croissant… we had to correct them and the man seemed pissed and was staring at us rudely the whole time, we didn’t enjoy our visit today, we are really disappointed and won’t be returning anymore…. I hope the rude man will be more kind and polite to future customers 😢😠

01/02/2026: We've been coming back for years. The pizza is great, especially the gluten-free version. Unfortunately, tourists are outmatched by locals when it comes to service. The serving time for a tourist is unacceptable :(. Think about it.

30/12/2025: I ordered a Margherita, but the ingredients weren't of the highest quality and the pizza was heavy to digest, despite being topped simply with mozzarella and tomato. I expected much more.

21/09/2025: Evidently they don't want new customers... I'll start by saying that I called because it was already past 1:30 PM and I asked if we could have lunch. There were three of us, two adults and a child. They told me that a table was becoming available, so they would have a place by the time we arrived. We arrived more than 20 minutes later. I identified myself, but neither of the two people serving noticed me. We sat down on the bench at the entrance. After almost 15 minutes, the younger man asked me if we were the ones who had called. I said yes, and he told me it was time to set the table. I'd have you sit down. There was more than one table free, so let's wait. They came and went, no one set the table, no one noticed us, so we left. It was almost 3 PM. With a child in tow, you're beyond reproach. I don't understand why you had us come if you didn't want any more customers. Shame on you.

05/09/2025: The food was excellent, the atmosphere was wonderful, and it was located in the forest. We were greeted by a fox, and it was an unforgettable experience. We'll be back again and again.

31/10/2025: We felt welcomed everywhere. From the maids to the two owners, everyone was kind, courteous, and attentive, fulfilling our every wish. We start our day here every morning with breakfast, and depending on our plans, we were also pampered in the evening. They even prepared regional specialties for us to try. Everything was incredibly good. The value for money is excellent, and 5 stars really don't do it justice. A true place of well-being, with a family atmosphere.
