03/03/2026: One of the best sushi I've ever eaten. Since I'm not from the area, I came to Cava specifically to try the sushi here, especially for the wide selection of gluten-free options. They have a dedicated gluten-free selection on the menu, including fried food, from shrimp tempura to uramaki. I'll definitely be back. The all-you-can-eat dinner with wine and water was excellent, and we spent €40 per person.

03/10/2025: The only thing that saves this hotel is its seafront location. Everything else is to be rejected: rooms full of dust, stains everywhere, terrible and worn shower, regarding the transfer services they are really in a bad state, the restaurant is awful, the food is terrible and the prices are absurd, if it weren't for the splendid sea they might even close for me.

31/08/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Saline from August 22nd to 27th, 2025. The only positive things were the kindness of the people and the sea view. I mean, "view," because the sea is inaccessible due to the underwater reef that extends from the shore for dozens of meters, which is also very dangerous. We had to go to the beach elsewhere, spending a lot more money. Furthermore, I think the chef was on vacation during the week we stayed, so he couldn't make pasta that wasn't overcooked—I'm talking about penne and rigatoni, not fresh pasta. The only professional was the maitre d', Pasquale. Eggs at breakfast had to be paid for separately; at €145 per person for half board, two scrambled eggs would have been fine. Finally, to the left of the hotel, there's a long-unfinished eyesore, still owned by the same owner, and when we went to pay, no one asked how our stay had been... did they already know the answers and related criticisms? Being from central and southern Italy myself, I'm truly sorry to have to write these things, which are unfortunately true! Given the level demonstrated, it does not reflect the declared category...perhaps a little more transparency combined with an appropriate price could avoid controversy.

24/01/2026: We're passing through for work. The staff is exceptional. A guy who immediately puts you at ease, it almost feels like you've known him forever. Formerly a Valturino, he made us feel right at home!

11/10/2025: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND SERIOUSNESS 0. I've ordered from this restaurant via Deliveroo twice, and both times, for one reason or another, my order wasn't delivered: the first time, 5 minutes before the scheduled delivery time, with no explanation, the restaurant cancelled my order, and I couldn't place another in time because all the other time slots were booked. The second time, the order wasn't cancelled, but simply left pending for hours. I was forced to cancel it because it was 9:00 (delivery was scheduled for 7:30) and they hadn't even started preparing the order. I'm sure the responsibility lies solely with the restaurant in question, not with Deliveroo, since this is the only restaurant I've encountered this problem with. I OBVIOUSLY WISH TO POINT OUT THAT BOTH TIMES THE PLACE DID NOT ANSWER OUR PHONE CALLS TO PROVIDE CLARIFICATIONS.

15/09/2025: Dinner for four, A very positive experience, a family atmosphere, excellent and plentiful food, fresh fish, and the linguine with clams was amazing. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Thank you for your hospitality.

29/12/2025: We stopped at this bar because we were attracted by the name... what can I say...giant croissant! The staff were friendly and smiling.

21/12/2025: I expected better... after a 4-hour journey ✈️ I had a massive craving for "graffa." But nothing. The smell of pastry was in the air, but not on the counter. Too bad.

26/12/2025: Every year when we arrive in Policastro from Germany, this is the first place we visit. The pizza is excellent and really inexpensive. The owner has known us for a long time, and everyone is very friendly.

08/09/2025: The atmosphere is very spartan, the service is slow, I don't know if it was a coincidence but for a pizza we waited 1 hour, the parmigiana and the fried food were reheated. Never again.

23/01/2026: I've only been to this place once and that's enough for me. I had a "Bufalina" pizza and it was truly disgusting. The mozzarella didn't even remotely taste like buffalo milk and the sauce was inedible. The service is beyond reproach. They were incredibly slow to take the order and serve it. My wife's pizza arrived cold.

21/12/2025: I had a house appetizer and a first course, paccheri with aubergines and sausage. They were excellent and I definitely recommend them. The prices were more than fair.

14/03/2026: Too many people, too loud, the waiters are all over you, clearing away plates and cups as soon as you finish your meal, even as everyone else at the table continues eating. They do it so you can get up quickly for the next service. The food is good, but the size, for example, of the croissants is ridiculous. The prices are ridiculous, and even though we'd ordered at the table, we had to pay them at the cashier along with everyone else who'd eaten at the counter, standing in line. Terrible, and part of that new, needlessly expensive Milan.

11/02/2026: Horrible experience, the worst food I have had in Vietri. Had sand in my mouth after eating. Didn’t even bother to eat the whole meal. I regretted this visit, wasted my money.

28/07/2025: Dirty rooms, bathroom leaking from all sides, boiling hot room with air conditioning that doesn't even have the power to reach the corridor, TV that loses its signal, doors that almost fall off the wall, to sum it all up I'd say, better to close.

16/02/2026: Superb aperitif...but what amazed us even more was the price...low and fair. Beautiful, welcoming and comfortable place...friendly and very helpful staff...we'll always return.
