02/07/2025: Credo sia la stessa pizzeria di Cava, alla quale sono affezionato da anni. Con piacere, scopro che hanno aperto anche nella mia Salerno, motivo per il quale, entusiasta, decido di provarlo. Locale curatissimo, pulito, accogliente. Pizze buone, prezzi non modici, ma tutto sommato nella media. Il vero neo è il personale di sala. Apre le danze la signorina "Gianna", che, dopo aver atteso qualche secondo per iniziare l'ordine (l'interlocutore in quel momento era mio padre, quasi ottantenne), sbotta volgarmente e chiede al suo collega di seguire il tavolo, perché, a suo dire, stavamo perdendo solo tempo, il tutto condito dal suo invidiabile charme. Mi trattengo, cerco di capire chi sia il proprietario per le dovute rimostranze, ma desisto. Il collega, decisamente più gentile, ascolta le nostre richieste, con la cortesia di servire per primi i bimbi presenti al tavolo (tra i 3 e i 7 anni). Da quel momento, non si capisce più nulla. Arrivano bevande non ordinate, e di quelle ordinate alcune si "perdono" (la mia birra ho dovuto chiederla cinque volte). Poi, il turno delle pizze. Arrivano quasi a tutti, di quelle dei bambini nessuna traccia. Chiedo lumi al cameriere, e, per la prima volta nella mia vita, mi sento rispondere che non poteva dare la priorità ai bambini (se n'è ricordato solo dopo). Sono tentato di nuovo di cercare il proprietario, ma desisto di nuovo. Sarebbe stata, molto probabilmente, solo una grossa perdita di tempo (come questa, del resto). Credo abbia tutte le potenzialità per essere un'ottima pizzeria, ma la disorganizzazione e la maleducazione di qualcuno rendono il tutto scarsamente digeribile. Arrivederci a Cava

10/05/2025: Sono ritornato a pranzo con un amico, presi una parmigiana di melanzana affogata di pomodoro, l’ha andai ad assaggiare era ancora congelata nell’interno,il mio amico le polpette erano rovente da microonde orribile. Di primo presi una genovese senza amore per la cucina, altro primo con il baccalà. Mio dio vorrei dire a chi gestisce il locale, fate la pizza la cucina e un arte si fà con passione. Sconsigliatissimo

21/11/2025: Fantastic place, we went without a reservation but despite the place being full they accommodated us well and served us better, highly recommended...

09/11/2025: We arrived early and didn't even sit down before they kept asking us to order three times. Later, after ordering a tricolore with cherry tomatoes, arugula (from a plant) and parmesan shavings, and a burrata (the same as the tricolore but with prosciutto), it arrived without prosciutto, and the burrata on top was still frozen with chunks of ice inside. When I asked for prosciutto on the pizza, they brought it to me on a plate. At the register, I paid €40 for two pizzas, a portion of fries, a large coke, and water, not to mention the €4 cover charge per person. Scandalous... You'll never see us again. The place is nice, but the service, food, and prices could be greatly improved. There are better places with better food and better prices.

15/07/2025: An unassuming atmosphere. Nothing special...but a great place to stop for an aperitif before heading back to the beach. A good aperitif, and for €10-12 a person, you can even skip dinner.

07/09/2025: I hadn't been to this pizzeria for 2 years and had fond memories of it, so I returned with 5 other friends. Maybe I chose the wrong evening, or maybe they changed the pizza chef, but we ate pizzas that weren't good at all. The Margherita pizzas in particular were inedible. I'm sorry I made a bad impression on my guests; it was an experience to forget.

16/08/2025: Going to Amalfi in the morning? Need some gas and a coffee to get you started for the day? Say no more. You got it all here, but if you want this to be the best experience of your life the chef has got you sorted with the best chocolate croissant you ever had. It has a crispy exterior topped with powder and crunchy sugar, and a soft dough with notes of vanilla, lemon and pure love as well as a hearthy finetti filling. The staff are friendly, lively and ready to give you a good morning and start of your day. What was supposed to be a boring stop turned into an unforgettable experience. Do not miss yours! 25/11/2025: You should be ashamed. Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was disastrous, especially considering we were in a seaside town and a simple plate of spaghetti with clams should be the bare minimum!!! The spaghetti, in the center of the plate, tasted only of butter, with a buttery sauce that had nothing to do with a clam sauce. The clams, instead of being sautéed with the pasta, were all on the sides, completely unseasoned, without oil, salt, or flavor. They seemed simply boiled; many were soft, old, and rancid (as you can see from the photo, the clams were without any seasoning whatsoever), and I had to spit out several because they were inedible. The spaghetti had no flavor at all; in fact, it tasted nothing of the sea, nothing of clams. I left almost the entire plate, which is extremely rare for that to happen to me. Then, unfortunately too late, I read the reviews and discovered I wasn't the only one; many customers had written about feeling sick. And indeed, that evening, after eating those awful clams, I also had a stomachache. For a seaside restaurant, this dish was a real INSULT. I strongly advise against it, especially to anyone hoping to enjoy a good seafood dish. Not only is the quality lacking here, but it also risks making you sick.

30/09/2025: Two spaghetti with clams, 1 fried dish as hard as rocks, you'll have to break your teeth, there's better.

11/11/2025: The mozzarella and tomato panini was very tasty. The sandwich is served cold, but the bread was fresh so it was not so hard or crunchy. The woman at the register appeared disinterested and annoyed. I cannot speak to the table service as I ordered for takeaway. The prices differ if you sit at a table so it’s best to confirm prices before you take a seat and order.

09/11/2025: Everyone was so kind! I had severe abdominal pain, and the bartender was very kind in suggesting a B&B for us to stay the night because their B&B was busy. The next morning, I went back with my husband to get some chamomile tea and he went to have breakfast. Mrs. Anna was very kind and even gave us directions to the nearest pharmacy!

09/07/2025: Yesterday, July 8, 2025, we celebrated my sister's 18th birthday and enjoyed the beautiful location, the quality of the food, and the friendliness of all the staff. It was an evening to remember in a wonderful place... a special thanks to Mr. Nicola!

06/07/2025: Good evening, I was at Villa Monte Caruso this weekend. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, excellent cleanliness and super professionalism.

23/10/2025: Excellent service, they treated us very well. We don't speak Italian, but at no time was that an impediment to the excellent service we received.

10/09/2025: Amazing pastries and friendly service! A group of us frequented this establishment daily during our stay in Salerno due to their high quality pastries and wonderful coffee as well as their hospitable attitude toward Americans. On our final day, we were provided a heartfelt, "Goodbye my friends!"... I will cherish this place and it's people.

01/11/2025: We found a piece of French fry in the capricciosa, and well, that can happen... But then comes the worst. A hair on the other pizza (if you're not careful, the one with mushrooms). I don't know what to say!

12/10/2025: I went to this pub for the first time with my boyfriend last night. Even though it was a Saturday, we were able to easily reserve two seats and were seated right away upon our arrival. The place is simple, tastefully decorated in Irish style. We didn't have to wait long to order, and our dishes arrived promptly. The menu is very varied; in addition to sandwiches, they also offer pizzas. We ordered a mortadella and pistachio croquette, four pulled pork meatballs, and a sandwich called Clements, which we split, choosing to try the buffalo mozzarella stracciata as well. The meatballs were truly delicious. The croquette was very large, but it was a bit cold and didn't tell us much about it. The bread was very soft and flavorful, well-filled, but something about the stracciata didn't entirely convince us. Overall, it was a good sandwich. The staff were friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, overall a nice little place to spend a pleasant evening.

11/12/2025: The hotel is located in a fairly remote area from the city center, yet the sea is nearby, visible from the panoramic views. Resembling a gigantic, low-rise farmhouse, renovated both inside and out, it boasts vast surrounding spaces that include a huge parking area, a beautiful swimming pool with solarium, a large perimeter patio with a large gazebo providing shade for tables and chairs, and just 23-26 guest rooms inside, plus a lobby with a small restaurant attached, kitchens, ground-floor bathrooms, and access to a basement level that leads to another restaurant adjacent to a disco/dance hall. The rooms are very intimate and spacious, all with windows, and airy in size, including the equally large and welcoming bathrooms (with sinks, bidets, and showers, but very few amenities: there are no towel hangers, for example, which are forced onto the vertical radiators), compared to other service areas in three-star hotels like this one! During this pre-Christmas period, the hotel is beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations and lights, creating a festive atmosphere for the upcoming holidays. Mrs. Marcella, I believe the young owner or manager of the property, is very dynamic and "quick" in providing information and clarifications on internal regulations, as well as instructions and practical assistance to the staff: cooks, chefs, waiters, and the subordinate staff assigned to various tasks and cleaning, who are truly excellent. In short, given the fairly affordable prices of the packages offered for the weekend and for the Immaculate Conception long weekend, overall it was a pleasant mini-vacation, some for two or some for three days spread over half-board. This would encourage us to return for short periods, if only because you need a car to get to the center of Agropoli or the neighboring villages such as Santa Maria di Castellabbate, or Paestum, Capaccio, etc., in the heart of Cilento.

14/10/2025: Have you heard of the €10 Aperol? Well, it's here. I was served reluctantly and overcharged. Prices are instant. I don't recommend it.

31/08/2025: Nice place and very welcoming staff. We had the caponata and it was exceptional...among the best I've ever had! The products are fresh and of excellent quality. Alfredo is kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
