12/04/2026: Total disappointment. Not recommended. There's nothing redeeming about it. We booked at 9:30 PM and were seated 10 minutes later. It took us 15 minutes to order, only because every time a waiter came by, I stopped him to ask for his order. The pizzas arrived at 11 PM. The wait was incredibly long. The pizzas are extremely low quality. Poor dough, cheap discount-store ingredients (only children wouldn't notice). The atmosphere is very noisy. You can't dine in peace or talk at the table because you can't hear the person next to you due to the din and echoing voices. The prices are too high for everything. My expectations were completely different after seeing their content on Instagram. I usually take photos and use social media, but I don't have a photo of the pizza because I thought it was too bad to show on my social media. We definitely won't be returning.

13/05/2026: The rating (only one star) might seem contradictory to the three-star rating given to the rooms, service, and cleanliness; but there's a valid reason, or rather two. 1. The breakfast is absolutely not up to par with a 4-star hotel. Limited variety, no toaster or grill to warm bread (moreover, only mini-sandwiches of questionable quality are available), little fresh fruit (and not always available during breakfast hours). Another sore point concerns the selection of sweets: is it possible—given the location (Amalfi Coast)—to limit themselves to offering "industrial" pastries and croissants, to be heated on the spot, and pre-packaged cakes? I think it wouldn't take much to reach an agreement with a local pastry shop (which is also just a few meters from the hotel) to offer fresh products. 2. The biggest disappointment, however, came at checkout: the tourist tax was also applied to children under 14, despite having been pointed out that the municipality does not provide for its application. Faced with their insistence, we paid but—unrelenting—recalled a few hours later, providing the municipal provision to prove it. Moral of the story: rather than admit their mistake, they made untenable excuses (we didn't know...we weren't up to date...even the property next door—which also includes the mayor of the town among its managers (so we were told) wasn't aware of this "exemption" from payment...). The sum—16 euros, nothing out of the ordinary—was refunded to us, but what was unacceptable was the superficiality and, above all, the arrogant attitude of the reception staff. Dear Attorney, Having noted the promptness with which you responded to a review of your property, I have a doubt: if your hotel desk clerk had been equally prompt in verifying the situation, perhaps we would have avoided this unpleasant incident? But no: in addition to the reasons given to us (which I mentioned in my previous post), we were also told, "...well, you told me the tax wasn't due for children under 14, but you could have told me that donkeys can fly..." The sentence speaks for itself. Regarding the comment regarding the quality of breakfast: when we got up from the table on Sunday morning and didn't find any croissants or pastries available, the response from one of the service staff was (exactly): "Yes, yes, they're baking them in the oven, they'll be here in a few minutes." This is indicative of a frozen dish that, from the freezer, ended up in the oven... Nothing further to add about the hotel's chefs, their 10 years of business, or your professional honesty. I base my opinion on the hospitality we were offered over the past two days and on objective events—see the tourist tax. That a (4-star) hotel in one of the most renowned areas of Italy doesn't know when it's required to collect the tourist tax...again, if I may say so, I don't think there's anything to add. PS: The anger and rancor with which you addressed my review are, I believe, entirely subjective. I have not railed against anyone or offended anyone's actions. 02/05/2026: The tree is beautiful, a truly evocative structure. Recently renovated, it has spacious rooms and a restaurant/breakfast terrace with a breathtaking view. I'm only giving it 2 stars because of the very poor cleanliness of the rooms and the meager, limited breakfast. It's a shame because the structure deserves so much.

28/07/2025: Dirty rooms, bathroom leaking from all sides, boiling hot room with air conditioning that doesn't even have the power to reach the corridor, TV that loses its signal, doors that almost fall off the wall, to sum it all up I'd say, better to close.

03/05/2026: A lovely little place located on Corso di Cava in a historic building. There are only a few tables, so reservations are recommended. Affordable prices and friendly staff.

11/01/2026: The place is tiny, and for goodness sake, it can happen... until the three of us were put in a tiny table when there were two tables behind us that could easily have been pushed together. The place is run by a lot of young people, far too young, I think. The "waitress" brings us the wine, opens the bottle, and the wine explodes (probably having been tossed around or taken out of the fridge shortly before). She doesn't even apologize and runs away. All the waiters, no matter who passed by our table, didn't even bother to clean up the wine stain on the floor. I asked for this courtesy several times, but nothing happened, even if it meant dropping it or falling on the floor themselves; according to their ideology, the wine should have just stayed there. As for the place, it's nice; perhaps that's the only saving grace.

08/03/2026: Lunch at Ciro's today. As always. Professional. Precise Attentive to detail and the presentation of the dishes. The product isn't top-quality, but it's top-notch. The staff is courteous and attentive. What more could I say? Everyone at Ciro's.

11/11/2025: Terrible The food arrived after 2 hours. First, the fries were served, undercooked and cold, which gave me an incredible stomach ache. After two bites of pizza, I had a terrible, excruciating stomach ache. The prices are high and not worth the food. The place doesn't look nice, neither inside nor out, and the karaoke... let's not even talk about it. Rude, trashy old men singing neomelodic songs in Neapolitan... you can imagine. The staff wasn't friendly, but a little rude. I asked for the pizzas, he looked at me and didn't answer. I was shocked.

13/01/2026: A wonderful experience at City Hall. I enjoyed a bagel with ham and melted cheese, which was truly excellent. My husband chose a salad with arugula, chicken, and almonds, prepared with love and passion. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Definitely worth a try!

28/06/2026: I can only confirm the various negative reviews regarding this pizzeria, despite the rumors circulating about them, even on the Tik Tok platform. We wanted to trust these people, but we encountered a terrible Saturday evening in several respects: more than 45 minutes of waiting... burnt pizza, but above all, very, very rudeness from the entire staff... obviously, they will respond as they responded to other negative reviews by saying that we have never been there... I wish!!! I would rather make a mea culpa and backtrack on how to run a business!
