30/03/2025: Slightly incorrect service. For 4 adults and 4 children we asked for 2 portions of chips and we found, in addition to the 8 euros of chips, 28 euros of mixed fried food. This already did not seem correct to me (we did not refuse them only out of politeness and we did not believe we were paying 28 euros) but after having also ordered the pizzas we paid without checking all the items on the receipt because I stopped the fried food even 2 baby pizzas as well as the whole ones. I do not question the quality of the products but the service was not correct. The pizza is very good both for the ingredients and the dough but we paid for the mixed fried food not chosen by us and 5 pizzas + 2 babi 120 euros. A little expensive considering that we paid more than what was requested but objectively the pizza is worth it.

30/01/2025: I often travel to Italy, I booked at the Ritrovo Atena Lucana restaurant (SA) I can say that an excellent structure..... But the chef's dishes are to be praised with praise.... Mrs. Marisa, professional and very kind, she does her job with seriousness and elegance...... Believe me, a restaurant that I highly recommend........

23/01/2025: I came to this restaurant for dinner with my boyfriend. Never again. We waited 10 minutes before someone welcomed us and sat us at the table. Theoretically they had a vegan menu. We ordered gnocchi, but they didn't have them and they offered us pasta with vegetables. They brought it to us raw, so much so that I didn't even eat it. They then rushed us to order a second course at 10.13pm because the kitchen was closing. We hadn't even tasted the pasta. Luckily we didn't order anything else. The worst thing is that it's not worth the price: 36 euros for 2 inedible pasta dishes. I don't recommend it. The maid was smoking in the kitchen. The receptionist was also in the kitchen.

17/05/2025: €75 for a lemon tartare cake and coffee!!!!Shocked by the deceptive pricing at this "historic" establishment. After being served a lemon tart, we were informed that cutting it (a basic service) incurred an additional charge—only after it arrived at our table. Our total for one slice of cake + a cappuccino reached €75. For that price, not petty upcharges and poor communication.

15/02/2025: Locale piccolo ma accogliente,gentile ed efficiente il personale,al top il panuozzo che nulla ha da invidiare ai più noti maestri gragnanesi,buona anche la pizza,ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.Unico rilievo è la mancanza di vino ,magari un gragnano,che, peraltro,si abbina benissimo al panuozzo.

03/01/2025: I've always found it quite good, but this time I was totally disappointed. I ask for a Mexican-style filling with beans (tomato sauce, sausage and beans) and I find myself with TOMATOES, sausage and beans inside, practically not even the slightest trace of sauce. Disgusting and inedible, the bad luck was that it was takeaway, so we were horrified when we got home. I wonder why not say Mexican is missing, instead of making do and in addition to ruining the customers' dinner, making a terrible impression as a pizzeria. I apologize if I called your panuozzo stuffed, but I don't apologize for having given a truthful review! I'm also sorry that your presumption of not admitting errors makes you fall even further in the reliability of your menu. However, he will not fail to return and it will be my concern if it ever happens again, to bring the mistake to the pizzeria, rather than throwing it away. Thanks see you soon

But what really impressed me was their Fettuccine alla Bolognese. The pasta is perfectly al dente, and the sauce is rich, deep-flavored and prepared with love, a true testament to tradition. One of the biggest advantages of La Zagara is their terrace, which is in natural shade. On hot summer days in Positano, this is invaluable. You can enjoy your meal without worrying about the sun, surrounded by pleasant greenery. Although you may have to wait a little for a seat, especially in season, this is actually a good sign – it shows how popular and appreciated the restaurant is. Patience pays off! All in all, La Zagara offers a combination of excellent food, a pleasant atmosphere and beautiful natural shade, making it an ideal choice for lunch or dinner in Positano. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience a true taste of Italy!

09/02/2025: Esperienza negativa: cibo non fresco, mozzarella che si sfaldava, gambero non pulito bene e cozze maleodoranti. Buono solo il pane e le frittelle. La titolare una gentile signora ma il servizio poco attento con una persona triste, scontrosa, non in divisa da lavoro. Tutto molto sciatto.

22/05/2025: The service was fast and heartless, strained and I felt written off as a "foreigner" the last 3 visits. I was one of the first to be seated for lunch, and I was the first to order....but left to wait, I could see others who had sat down much later than me being served ahead, in fact 4-5 tables had food before me. So after 4 visits and 3 with poor service I give only one star. The atmosphere was ok, too loud for my liking, the staff seemed mechanical and not too friendly, except the barista was ok. The man seated next to me thought it was acceptable to sit there and do his English lesson aloud on his phone. At this point I had finished, so I took myself out of the restaurant as to not say anything......the photo says it all.....what saves this place is the food. They do the best fried seafood plate in the area.
