25/04/2025: A group of five friends passing through Salerno on their way to Pompeii stopped at this restaurant for lunch. The place is lovely, clean, and the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent. The bill was very fair. We were completely satisfied.

13/04/2025: The food was truly poor: the appetizers were soft and oily. The bruschetta was soggy, but the anchovies were good. Various soups with various preparations were all oily. Honorable mention goes to the zucchini flowers, which had a thorn that stuck in the roof of one of the diners' mouths (we didn't know they were fish; no one pointed it out). The first courses were mediocre. Service wasn't excellent: the first lady who approached our table when we asked for information shouted at her colleague (because we asked if certain dishes were suitable for pregnant women) and said, "You see, the ladies here are pregnant!" All in all, in a loud voice, and with the dining room quite full. A nice location overall, but no view. The restaurant and restrooms were clean. The price was average.

11/10/2025: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND SERIOUSNESS 0. I've ordered from this restaurant via Deliveroo twice, and both times, for one reason or another, my order wasn't delivered: the first time, 5 minutes before the scheduled delivery time, with no explanation, the restaurant cancelled my order, and I couldn't place another in time because all the other time slots were booked. The second time, the order wasn't cancelled, but simply left pending for hours. I was forced to cancel it because it was 9:00 (delivery was scheduled for 7:30) and they hadn't even started preparing the order. I'm sure the responsibility lies solely with the restaurant in question, not with Deliveroo, since this is the only restaurant I've encountered this problem with. I OBVIOUSLY WISH TO POINT OUT THAT BOTH TIMES THE PLACE DID NOT ANSWER OUR PHONE CALLS TO PROVIDE CLARIFICATIONS.

01/10/2025: Ordered from Delivero, it didn't arrive, I even called the store several times, after an hour they sent me a message that there was an early closure, no food and no shame.

21/08/2025: Excellent pizza, excellent fish, fast and friendly service, fair prices and excellent desserts. The coffee is also excellent and very rare in restaurants. Highly recommended for families and friends.

13/10/2025: I ordered fried food from this place and it was absolutely delicious! Delivery was super fast and the packaging was perfect. The fried food was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just how I love it. The service was efficient and courteous. I highly recommend trying these fried foods, you won't regret it!

15/09/2025: Street food, generous portions and the possibility of composing sandwiches to your taste, you can find it in the stadium square in Battipaglia, near the motorway exit, at rush hour there is a long queue to eat but this indicates the excellent quality/price ratio it offers.. Ad accoglierti c’è Anna, che con la sua innata eleganza, cura tutti i dettagli e con il suo sorriso di fa sentire il sapore di famiglia che non ti aspetti. Cibo perfetto, pesce freschissimo presentato con cura nelle tipiche ceramiche Vietresi. Il locale è in centro dove respiri appieno la comunità e la passione che ogni abitante di Vietri mette per tenere vivo un mondo ormai antico fatto di passione per il lavoro e gentilezza. Pulizia ineccepibile Qualità e prezzo ottimi! Tornerò sicuramente il prossimo anno per festeggiare una data importante certa che sapranno rendere la serata speciale come lo è stata quest’anno. 01/09/2025: Truly fantastic place, in an excellent location just minutes from Agropoli and Paestum. Comfortable rooms (with a few little extra touches, they would be 5⭐). The staff is exceptional, from the bar staff to the cleaning staff, all kind and always available. The included beach service is very convenient, just steps from the sea: spotless beach and well-spaced umbrellas. A quiet place, perfect for those seeking relaxation. See you next year 💯🌞🌊

25/09/2025: Although I'm not a fan of the fantasy genre (the theme chosen for the restaurant's decor), I appreciated the atmosphere, made welcoming by the appropriately dimmed lighting. One notable detail: the background music, ubiquitous in many places, here is low-volume and '80s pop, pleasant and never annoying. The food is excellent: the sandwiches have soft bread and generous, flavorful fillings. The cuts of meat are also very good. Special mention goes to the appetizers, almost all prepared directly in the restaurant's kitchen. The service is quick and very courteous. Finally, the prices are in line with the quality offered.

Il Galeone offers a spectacular view of the harbor, perfect for a relaxing evening with friends or as a couple. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, with friendly and attentive service. The pizza is truly excellent – ​​light, well-leavened dough and quality ingredients. A wide selection of flavors, from classic to more creative, all prepared with great care. The appetizers and desserts are also worth it! A place I will definitely return to: excellent food, breathtaking views, and an experience that makes you feel like you're on vacation, even if it's just for one evening. 🍕🌅

18/10/2025: This is the only negative review I've ever written. The pizza was good, but the squid in the fried seafood recommended by the owner was incredibly smelling, I tried a bite, and the foul smell of squid melted in my mouth, it was just so disgusting….. And besides of this the owner also trying to scam us by charge for one extra dish.

29/09/2025: The food is average. If there are no other guests in the restaurant, they'll make a real effort to accommodate you. There are several free antipasti. But be careful! The giant mozzarella we didn't order ended up on our bill.
