25/05/2026: A truly fantastic experience! We chose the tasting menu, and it was an incredible journey of flavors from start to finish. To begin, we were served some excellent appetizers: a savory bun, potato croquettes, and truly delicious montanare. All of this was accompanied by excellent craft beers that perfectly complemented each course. Next, we sampled three types of pizza: padellino, pala, and contemporanea. Each offering demonstrated a meticulous attention to detail and the highest quality ingredients. What struck me most was the incredible crunch of the dough, especially in the pala and panellino, without ever being heavy: light, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. The contemporanea pizza was also exceptional: perfectly cooked, with a soft texture and truly extraordinary flavor. To conclude, a fantastic sweet bun with gelato and Nutella: indulgent, well-balanced, and truly delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it yet, and to anyone who happens to be in the area. An experience absolutely worth having!

03/11/2025: We went to this pizzeria on Saturday evening, choosing it for its proximity to the cinema where we had a 10:20 PM showing. I'd been there before (not on a Saturday) and had a positive experience, but unfortunately, I can't say the same this time. We had a reservation for 9 PM, thinking we'd have plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely dinner before the movie. We ordered two frittatas—really good and arrived almost immediately—and then waited for the pizzas. Too bad they didn't arrive until around 10:15 PM, after over an hour of waiting. Several tables who arrived after us received their pizzas first: I don't think ordering two frittatas should cause such a delay in getting our pizzas. Furthermore, the waitress almost served pizzas that weren't ours, which further increased the confusion and frustration, as well as being a sign of the confusion in the dining room. At 10 PM, we asked the waitress for information, and she assured us they were on their way... but we still had to wait another quarter of an hour. We ended up eating in a rush to make it to the cinema on time, without being able to enjoy the pizza at leisure—and this, despite being delicious, completely ruined the evening. The pizza dough is excellent, I have nothing to complain about (other than perhaps the slightly excessive price of €8.50 for a sausage and fries), but the slow service, combined with the fact that no one at the cashier even apologized for the wait or asked how it went, made the experience more than disappointing. I don't recommend coming here on a Saturday if you have plans after dinner: otherwise, plan at least two hours in advance; maybe, unlike us, you'll be able to eat at your leisure without having to throw the pizza down your face...

28/09/2025: Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's baptism in this splendid venue. The atmosphere was very refined: clean, bright, and welcoming. The dishes were prepared with quality ingredients, and the food was excellent and plentiful. At the end of the meal, we were offered a tasting of truly excellent homemade amaros. The bill was fair, and the staff was professional and extremely courteous: quality service in every way. The owners were kind and helpful. All the guests were satisfied. Definitely one of the best venues in the area.

30/08/2025: We went to dinner at Ristoro delle Monache on the recommendation of friends, but our expectations were greatly disappointed. We expected a tasting of typical local products, as we were promised upon arrival. In reality, both the appetizers and the main courses (we didn't order the first course) didn't seem particularly good. Furthermore, the oil was served at the table in a small bottle with no label indicating its provenance, origin, or type, and was a worrying straw-yellow color. Last but not least, the bill (€42 per person, no itemized details).

28/04/2026: After reading some reviews, I wasn't entirely convinced, but I wanted to try it, and never judge a book by its cover. I went with my wife on April 25th for lunch. The place was beautiful. We had a wonderful lunch, everything was delicious, especially the scialatielli alla Nerano. The staff was top-notch. I think the restaurant manager was there (he was wearing a jacket, so I left because I had an idea) with a young woman. They were very friendly and professional. I also saw that they have several activities for children to keep them entertained throughout the day. A very relaxing day. We'll definitely be back.

24/03/2026: We were at this farmhouse on a Sunday for lunch with another family, the children had a lot of fun both seeing the animals and with the entertainment, the food was good even if initially we were a little taken aback by the fixed menu which fortunately in the end satisfied everyone

10/11/2025: Bar Centrale in Ascea Marina isn't just the town's central bar; it's the true heart of Ascea. It's the place to meet locals, chat, and feel part of the community from the moment you arrive. Stefano, the bartender, is the soul of this bar. Always smiling, friendly, and tireless, he makes every visit special. It was an honor and a pleasure to meet him. He has become not just a friend, but part of our family. This is the place to go if you want to experience the real Ascea. I can't wait to return next year.

10/05/2026: Pizzeria in the heart of Salerno...a historic establishment. Excellent pizza, with a special mention for the light and fragrant dough, but the fried foods could be improved. Friendly and professional waiters, and reasonable prices for a city-center pizzeria.

03/05/2026: The service was fast, the staff were efficient and friendly, but the quality of the pizza leaves much to be desired. The quality has declined recently. It's now a place of passage. Cleanliness is also lacking. It's a shame, considering it's a historic place with a good name. I hope the interest doesn't outweigh the desire to return to being "Cavatappi." Take this reflection as a starting point.
