19/06/2025: They decided to make you order the yogurt at the cashier and then call your name when it's ready. That said, they don't offer you the lactose-free alternative and 10 seconds after the order was placed at the cashier and paid, they also called me. When I asked if it was possible to make the yogurt without lactose, he told me that he had already made both (in 10 seconds I repeat) and could not remake at least one because he was lactose intolerant, giving me the yogurt as it was anyway. I can understand that it was my mistake but he could have been a little kind and not lost 1 + X customers for 1 euro of yogurt, think about it better next time maestro

23/11/2025: We ordered a pizza with a typical Roman name, which supposedly contained guanciale (cheek bacon), but instead contained the typical pancetta from the discounter's trays. Furthermore, the restaurant's "special feature" is supposed to be the barrels, which, being unheated, meant we couldn't enjoy our pizza because it was so cold; we had to dine with our coats on.

22/11/2025: A very welcoming and friendly bar-restaurant, with plenty of seating. A wide selection of products for breakfast and beyond. Recommended.

28/10/2025: Group of 8 adults, having spent the day in Ravello, then hiking down the Via Petrito trail, we sought releif from thirst, hunger and sore knees. Fortunately, we found relief here, with an available outside table in the charm & beauty of Piazza Umberto. La Risacca was also the only place in mid afternoon that offered us the capability of more than just a snack to accompany our beverages - to which I would submit, they appeared to have the widest variety of cocktails, wine & beers. Their ‘Chopping Board’ of cured meats & cheese, burgers and Insalata Caprese perfectly satisfied all our needs. Mix in their hospitality and be able to sit and relax, taking in the locals going about their normal routines in such a fairytale setting, we couldn't have picked a more perfect place!

26/10/2025: This restaurant is ideal for an aperitif or afternoon snack in the heart of Atrani. The service is very good and fast. With views of the village church, it's worth a stop. We made two.

04/05/2025: Da poco tornati a casa dopo aver pranzato presso la masseria squazzo,servizio molto disponibile e veloce, piatti molto abbondanti, abbiamo preso 3 menù adulti con 3 primi piatti diversi unica pecca le tagliatelle on salsiccia e porcini (la salsiccia non ne ho trovata nel piatto e personalmente un piatto senza sapore),tre secondi diversi lo stesso tt ottimo se non era per le tagliatelle davo 5 stelle

02/05/2025: Ottimo pranzo in questo agriturismo ristrutturato e quindi di bellissimo aspetto, siamo stati il 1 maggio e qui di c’erano tantissime persone, nonostante questo pranzo ottimo e pietanze buonissime (entrecote alla brace stupenda), ci sono anche le giostre per i più piccoli e tanta natura da respirare. Il proprietario molto gentile, ritorneremo sicuramente! Alla prossima!

17/09/2025: Bar Santa Lucia 1921, Salerno, Italy We had breakfast here every morning during our stay and it was always fresh and delicious. In the evenings, we came back for cocktails which we also really enjoyed. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed and the service was great. We highly recommend this place! The bar is connected to a pizzeria, and they serve the best pizza in town!

28/10/2025: You always have to share the good with the bad. Nice, clean place, and good food. My review is based on the budget, meaning I don't think a large Peroni beer can cost €4 the same as a Margherita, especially if, like me, I ordered takeout and paid €4 for a good, tasty Margherita and €4 for a large Peroni. I think it's outrageous!!! It's better to have two Margheritas and not drink! Thanks for your attention, and I'll leave you with my personal opinion.

31/08/2025: A nightmare dinner. I had booked well in advance for 15 people, thinking they'd reserve a table for me inside. Instead, despite the fact that it had been raining since yesterday and the weather forecast for the evening was dire, they gave us an outdoor table protected by three closely spaced umbrellas. At the first drops of rain, the rain hit us full force, the umbrellas (designed to protect from the sun) filtered the water onto our heads, while a veritable waterfall fell on the table and chairs where the umbrellas were only pushed together. As soon as I arrived, I asked to speak to a manager, but I realized everyone was turning their backs on me and running away. Even a certain Nello, whom I spoke to when I went to make my reservation in person, literally ran away when he saw me come in to ask for suitable seating for my guests. Now, I don't think I'm asking too much in asking these gentlemen why they accept reservations if they know they don't have enough indoor seating. I'd also like to understand how they assign seats, since the ones inside were reserved, while I, who booked a week in advance and even called to confirm the number of people, was given a seat in the rain. I'm mortified by the embarrassment I made in front of my guests, but the managers of this pseudo-restaurant should be ashamed of the way they treat their customers. All they had to do was stop and talk, and I would have even excused them, but running away and hiding is truly rude. The employees, too, remained silent, all saying, "I don't know anything - I can't say anything." A real nightmare. P.S.: We made a quick reservation at another restaurant, and they treated us like royalty.

08/12/2025: Unfortunately, it's out of stock. We stopped for a quick lunch. The pizzas were good, but the staff was completely unprepared and rude. The wait staff seemed annoyed and frowning at every question. We asked for pizza with whole-wheat dough as indicated, and they told us, "Unfortunately, it's out of stock." We asked for stain remover since a lot of the oil had gotten on our coat while delivering the pizza, and again, "Unfortunately, it's out of stock." We asked for napkins to wipe away the dirty look, and after 5 minutes, I had to get up to ask for them... No empathy, no courtesy towards the guests.

09/11/2025: My experience was negative. Castellabate is a beautiful place to visit, but I don't recommend the restaurant. At the waiter's insistence, we ordered the daily menu: a starter, bruschetta with marinated anchovies, a first course, water, house wine, and a steak for €83. What bothered me most was that the waiter was in a hurry after I waited for my table. He brought me almost everything at once, and twice he wanted to take the first course away while I was still eating. For me, it was a negative experience.

05/11/2025: I loved the atmosphere and the service was solid. We were told by our server about the “fish of the day” which we decided to order even though the price was not listed as it would vary based on market price. They brought out a tray of fresh fish and we got to choose which one we wanted to eat. We selected the red snapper and a little while later the tray with the fish and pasta was brought out. Our server took apart the fish and divided the dish onto 2 separate plates. It honestly looked like it was going to be great… but the fish itself was filled with bones and scales. Even in the pasta itself every bite I was finding scales and bones (and I was looking!) The issues for me comes down to price, I understand that maybe I just had some bad luck, and the fish I ordered was difficult to properly separate. But my partner and I only ordered the fish of the day and some water and the total price was €89. I believe that based on the other reviews this place has some solid offerings. But based on my own experience this was really disappointing. **After writing this review the "owner" has responded and has for whatever reason added false context - so to clarify: - No, the server did not mention any of the price differences between the fish of the day. - No we did not have wine during our meal, as I mentioned before the only thing we had was the fish of the day meal and some water. - and NO we did not eat the whole meal, the dish we left behind was half finished (at best) because the pasta was way too salty and the entire dishes was FULL of scales and fish bones like I said, perhaps I've just had some bad luck with this place... clearly they've been around for a while and based on other reviews it seems like they DO have some nice offerings. I however, felt very disappointed and would not recommend.
