19/07/2025: Alla chiusura dell’Assemblea degli Stati Generali della Bellezza siamo stati consigliati a pranzare in questo angolo nascosto di una via storica di Cava ed ecco la sorpresa. Accolti da una gentile signora, abbiamo ordinato una frittura di paranza ciascuno, una zuppa di cozze per due persone e la terza ha preso i fusilli freschi con i frutti di mare, con delle buone frittelle di alghe, acqua frizzante. Abbiamo speso 90€ in tre. Soddisfatti e contenti. Sveva&Giuseppe

18/10/2025: The truth is, it doesn't live up to its promise. We were expecting a heated pool. There wasn't one. We were expecting a more decent breakfast. The juices weren't natural; there were only two or three types of fruit; there were no scrambled eggs. What you imagine when you think of a full breakfast. There were at least three different conferences going on during our stay. So, the breakfast atmosphere was never very relaxing. The products were of average quality. I honestly didn't like it. The double bed is two beds pushed together. The TV isn't a smart TV. And if you get a room with a rear view, the view is really ugly. A parking lot and a couple of buildings. For the price, I expected more. Although it's cheap compared to other places in the area.

17/10/2025: A good 2-star hotel, no more. In my opinion, the only thing that makes it Grand is its size. Poor breakfast and bare, cold rooms. Dated. Only 1 night, a transit stay. Nothing more, only on offer.

30/10/2025: Largest lemons I have ever seen!!! The staff was so cheerful. The gelato with sweet lemon was so tasty. Would recommend this place

30/10/2025: Aside from the price, which was still high but average for the area, I was disappointed by the flavor of the gelato. It didn't seem artisanal at all; the stracciatella cream tasted like a chemical, and the limoncello scoop had a rather pungent flavor and tasted nothing more than a standard lemon sorbet.

19/10/2025: Simply incredible (in a bad way). Spritz full of ice, burnt and very salty fries that arrived after the glasses were already empty. A fruit juice for the price of a cocktail, and a final bill that leaves you speechless. A disappointing experience in every way—it's hard to understand how a place so poorly managed can still be open.

22/10/2025: Located in the small square of the Santi Quaranta hamlet, in an out-of-the-way area with a small parking lot. The atmosphere is refined and friendly. The menu is relatively simple, but each dish is refined. The attentive and courteous staff are ready to make you feel at home. The prices are worth the quality of the dishes.

03/10/2025: The only thing that saves this hotel is its seafront location. Everything else is to be rejected: rooms full of dust, stains everywhere, terrible and worn shower, regarding the transfer services they are really in a bad state, the restaurant is awful, the food is terrible and the prices are absurd, if it weren't for the splendid sea they might even close for me.

31/08/2025: We stayed at the Hotel Saline from August 22nd to 27th, 2025. The only positive things were the kindness of the people and the sea view. I mean, "view," because the sea is inaccessible due to the underwater reef that extends from the shore for dozens of meters, which is also very dangerous. We had to go to the beach elsewhere, spending a lot more money. Furthermore, I think the chef was on vacation during the week we stayed, so he couldn't make pasta that wasn't overcooked—I'm talking about penne and rigatoni, not fresh pasta. The only professional was the maitre d', Pasquale. Eggs at breakfast had to be paid for separately; at €145 per person for half board, two scrambled eggs would have been fine. Finally, to the left of the hotel, there's a long-unfinished eyesore, still owned by the same owner, and when we went to pay, no one asked how our stay had been... did they already know the answers and related criticisms? Being from central and southern Italy myself, I'm truly sorry to have to write these things, which are unfortunately true! Given the level demonstrated, it does not reflect the declared category...perhaps a little more transparency combined with an appropriate price could avoid controversy.

23/09/2025: Fragrant and tasty bread, soft rolls, and many other excellent baked goods. The service is fast and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

04/09/2025: A clean bakery with a wide selection of excellent products: delicious bread and pizzas. The perfect place to stop for a healthy and delicious breakfast.

19/07/2025: For my first time there, the pizza was really good, excellent fresh and tasty ingredients... super friendly pizza chef... zero wait and prices in line with the quality...

09/06/2025: Ieri 8 Giugno abbiamo festeggiato i 50 anni di matrimonio dei miei genitori, abbiamo mangiato divinamente... ristorante elegante ottima cucina... Complimenti vivissimi allo chef e alla moglie Maria Rosaria dolce e disponibile... Consigliatissimo

21/09/2025: I would have liked to eat at this restaurant since I saw the positive reviews, but the entrance?????? It doesn't exist!!! We parked in front, got out with the kids, and arrived at the door of the large room and.... Nope, there was no one there. After knocking several times, we decided to enter through the hotel entrance and surprise, nothing! They told us to go out with the car, get out, ring the intercom, enter a gate for the goods delivery, and then go up to I don't know what floor to go to this room. Too complicated, don't you think?? Isn't it easier for customers to enter through the restaurant's entrance??? We left and ate (very well, by the way) at a nearby grill restaurant, where the entrance door was, like everywhere else, accessible and visible!!!!

17/09/2025: Bar Santa Lucia 1921, Salerno, Italy We had breakfast here every morning during our stay and it was always fresh and delicious. In the evenings, we came back for cocktails which we also really enjoyed. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed and the service was great. We highly recommend this place! The bar is connected to a pizzeria, and they serve the best pizza in town!

12/09/2025: The food was excellent. We ordered the seafood pasta and the prawn linguine - both were so delicious! Pasta was cooked perfectly and portions were great. Service was good. I’d definitely come back, thank you for having us!

09/06/2025: I went back on Saturday afternoon to eat the usual ice cream. Unfortunately, I sadly find that there is little availability and the ice cream is no longer like it used to be. When it came time to pay, the guy to make me pay with the POS repeatedly rudely repeated "make me make the noise" or the beep. So little education above all because you don't use the informal "tu" for free. Let's learn good manners and then we'll go to the cashier
