08/05/2025: Abbiamo trascorso una serata davvero piacevole in questo ristorante. Il cibo è ottimo, con un menù che valorizza i sapori locali e ingredienti di qualità. La cantina dei vini è molto fornita, con etichette interessanti che si abbinano perfettamente ai piatti proposti. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi cerca buona cucina, atmosfera accogliente e un servizio eccellente.

29/04/2025: Oggi, giunto da Napoli per ragioni di lavoro, sono stato al tribunale di Vallo della Lucania, trascorsa la mattinata, ad ora di pranzo ho chiesto alle guardie giurate ( locali del posto) di indicarmi un luogo dove si mangiava bene. Ebbene, ritengo che l'indicazione data per il ristorante "la Chioccia d'Oro" sia stata preziosa e gradita. Il personale è stato gentile ed ospitale, inoltre si è mangiato veramente bene con piatti di ottima fattura e prodotti di qualità. Io ed i miei convitati (7) siamo stati pienamente soddisfatti e sicuramente ritorneremo consigliandolo anche ai nostri amici e conoscenti. Mario Abbondante

22/03/2025: Divine food, I was sitting near the kitchen and while they were preparing my mushroom ravioli there was a scent that inebriated the whole room. Service normal, just enough time to prepare certain dishes and serve them. Very characteristic environment. I will be back and highly recommend anyone who is in the area to come and try these wonderful dishes

16/05/2025: Fantastic restaurant. Captain Francesco our Grassi Junior Positano boat charter Captain suggested this restaurant for our lunch. He made reservations and arranged for a tender to pick us up. The restaurant is on a small private beach. There is great history on their website about this location. Our appetizer an amazing fried squid. We ordered Spaghetti with Lobster like everyone else around us but sadly they ran out before ours was prepared. Alternatively, I chose Spaghetti Carbonara and my wife had a fantastic snapper. Everything was excellent. The service fantastic and the location was unbeatable.

20/05/2025: La maleducazione e la scostumata non hanno avuto limiti. Sono entrata con il mio compagno alle 20:40 di martedì sera nella pizzeria (oggi) e tutti i tavoli erano liberi. Mancavano altri due amici che stavano nella zona limitrofa per cui sarebbero arrivati nell’arco di 10 min massimo. Ho chiesto se potevamo iniziare a esserci in due noi mentre li attendavamo come da prassi e buon costume avviene spesso, ma mi è stato risposto di no con toni accesi. Nonostante la sala fosse vuota. Sconsigliatissimo.

03/05/2025: Highest quality meat and unique pieces! Side dishes and cutting boards are nothing short of spectacular. Perfect meat cooking! The chef is truly professional and competent and was able to recommend a piece of meat we had never eaten before. The service was impeccable! I highly recommend

27/05/2025: This is the second time I go to the new piccolo Vesuvio, the first time nothing to say good food and good price, the second time we go the food is always excellent, but the price is a bit high!

24/05/2025: For God's sake, quality is not up for discussion, but for a fried food, paying 42 euros with only a stuffed courgette flower and a croquette each and two portions of chips is not good. 20 euros for the bitters that should be offered by the house and two euros for the service with only the placemat and the cutlery is not worth returning, it is too exaggerated. The pizzas at nine euros almost all. Lower the prices or people will not return anymore.

09/03/2025: Piacevole sorpresa in zona. Ambiente familiare, che offre cibi genuini e palesemente freschi. Sono stata varie volte sia a pranzo che a cena per la particolare pizza nel ruoto. Prezzi assolutamente onesti. Migliorerei solo l'offerta dei dolci.

08/05/2025: I ordered a natural orange juice that appears on the menu and they didn't have... you need 2 oranges, a juicer, you can't not have oranges and it's what generates a greater profit, incredible, instead they brought me a very small bottle of juice. The waiter's attention was very reluctant and they charged me immediately after bringing me the food and juice, I don't know that they are afraid that you will escape it seems. I had planned to order a coffee and something sweet afterwards but I didn't like that attitude at all and I gave up ordering it. The only thing that is worth it and what everyone goes for is the beautiful sea view and the proximity to the beach. Better served would be a large and prosperous business, a waste.

01/01/2025: When we sat down the table was dirty, the waiter only removed the previous customers' drinks without cleaning the table and he didn't even do it when he took our orders. We had to clean it ourselves! It was not possible to pay by card, I paid with cash but the waiter forgot to bring me the change (of almost 20 euros). After a long time I had to ask him because we had to leave We also asked 3 times for a glass of water for our 2 year old son, but it was never brought to us. I've never been to a place like this. I will never go there again, not even for a coffee at the counter.

07/09/2024: We ate at this restaurant on the occasion of my wedding anniversary and we couldn't have chosen better. Refined environment, very kind and professional staff. Excellent food, quality raw materials and captivating dish presentations.

31/08/2024: Location molto accogliente e suggestiva, struttura molto elegante che crea un’atmosfera unica. Nessuna pecca riguardante la professionalità dei gestori e dello staff. Lo chef propone delle portate semplici ma articolate nella loro semplicità, aggiungendone un tocco di fantasia e rendendo ogni portata unica nel suo genere. Staff super professionale e capace di saper consigliare e aiutare in base alle esigenze dei clienti. Super consigliato per vivere un’esperienza culinaria sia in compagnia di amici, in famiglia e in compagnia della propria dolce metà.

24/03/2025: Ci sono stato due volte ed entrambe sono stato molto soddisfatto dell’ottima qualità del cibo (sopratutto della carne) e del servizio. Da provare se siete a Cava de’ Tirreni!

08/01/2025: The pizzas are of excellent quality, they do not skimp on the products. I ordered shrimp and they filled my pizza with a pecorino that was delicious. Ah, the prices are the best, without a doubt. I'll be back, I'll be back.

14/02/2025: I strongly advise you against going to eat in this place, I know it very well, they make fresh pasta amidst the cockroaches, thousands of skins in the sweater, let's not talk about the refrigerators, why not and it's still closed, no one checks it, the bald dwarf, be careful where you go to eat. 08/02/2025: I spent an evening with my girlfriend and other friends in this very questionable place, non-existent waiters, two margherita pizzas worth 5 euros with still water at the checkout it came to 22 euros... They don't know what the value of money means..

04/05/2025: Reserved room via Booking.com. Then a message came from the hotel via Booking that the credit card was incorrect. After entering the correct details twice and also entering the details of a second card, the room was canceled by the hotel a week before we were supposed to go there. Message via Booking was not answered by them, the phone was not answered. The room was no longer available via Booking.

02/05/2025: The rooms are very dirty starting from the sheets in which I found stains, as soon as you enter the door there is a musty smell and importantly it didn't seem clean at all. The tent was all torn up, which is a very bad thing as it is also transparent and so at 6:00 in the morning the sunlight is already coming in and you are already forced to wake up, for as much as they get a room I think it costs little to buy a new tent with another on top for the night so as not to let the light in early in the morning. One very important thing is that I showered with cold water, because the hot water never came out The rooms are not soundproof at all, I took a nap in the afternoon I could hear doors slamming and people screaming next door Breakfast ok The only nice thing is the balcony with the view, that's all the 3 stars are for
