I recently visited with some American friends who thoroughly enjoyed the food, the location, the ambiance, the professionalism, and the kindness of the staff. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but above all, it transports you back to the past while keeping your feet firmly planted in the present. The talent, initiative, and courage of the young owners are evident, demonstrating their attachment to their roots. Congratulations, Geppino. See you soon.
22/08/2025: Attentive, helpful staff who pamper you throughout the culinary experience. A thoughtfully curated wine list, more focused on quality than label names.
I recommend it.
Compliments to the chef's sister, whose name I unfortunately don't remember. Kind and cheerful, she welcomed us like friends.

28/09/2025: Yesterday we celebrated my daughter's baptism in this splendid venue. The atmosphere was very refined: clean, bright, and welcoming. The dishes were prepared with quality ingredients, and the food was excellent and plentiful. At the end of the meal, we were offered a tasting of truly excellent homemade amaros. The bill was fair, and the staff was professional and extremely courteous: quality service in every way. The owners were kind and helpful. All the guests were satisfied. Definitely one of the best venues in the area.
30/08/2025: We went to dinner at Ristoro delle Monache on the recommendation of friends, but our expectations were greatly disappointed. We expected a tasting of typical local products, as we were promised upon arrival. In reality, both the appetizers and the main courses (we didn't order the first course) didn't seem particularly good. Furthermore, the oil was served at the table in a small bottle with no label indicating its provenance, origin, or type, and was a worrying straw-yellow color. Last but not least, the bill (€42 per person, no itemized details).

Perfect service.
The sandwich is really good, with good-quality ingredients and the meat cooked just right, even the spicy mayonnaise is interesting.
Regarding fried foods, the fries and chicken strips are quite good, while the nuggets are probably the only negative, perhaps needing a rethink.
The quality/price ratio is average.
Overall, I was very satisfied, and I recommend it.
03/02/2026: I've been trying to call for TWO weeks, obviously when they're open, but they NEVER answer. I've finally given up and gone to try the food, which is very good but the organization is very poor.

24/08/2025: We discovered it by chance, we were in the area, and after leaving the main road you have to drive up a winding road. At least the GPS showed us that route, since we're not from the area.
Everything was great - good food - dessert - coffee - service - and the prices - keep it up - recommended -
We'll definitely be back!

23/12/2025: Salerno's historic pizzeria, serving traditional dishes just like home. It's not just a pizzeria, then. Homemade croquettes and arancini are exceptional, as is the pizza—the best in our magnificent city. Try it and believe it.
17/12/2025: We visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening in August. We sat down at 8:00 PM and, incredibly, by 10:30 PM we still hadn't received our pizzas. Throughout the evening, we repeatedly asked the staff for an explanation, each time receiving the same response: "It's coming."
We were with a hungry and tired 9-year-old child, and in the end, we decided to leave without having eaten. When we left, around 10:30 PM, not only did no one apologize, but the gentleman behind the register even gave us a rude goodbye, throwing away the receipt for the water we wanted to pay for anyway.
An act that left us speechless. As my husband said: "We will never set foot in this restaurant again."
An experience to absolutely forget.

16/02/2026: I dined on Valentine's Day evening: I enjoyed old-fashioned flavors, especially the Angus steak, which was tender, flavorful, and plentiful. The house wine left a bit to be desired. The speakers were too loud, and at times it was difficult to converse. Nello Albano was charming, but it would have been nice to have a bit of a change in the music: for someone like me who doesn't like Neapolitan music, listening to him all Valentine's evening (including other improvised "singers") was just too much. I'd gladly return to try the meat again, but without the music...please!

A must-visit every time I'm in Contursi Terme, a surefire place to eat well. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Highly recommended.
