08/05/2026: A relaxing weekend at the spa: very beautiful and relaxing. The spa was excellent, but above all, very beautiful. The pool was spectacular, located in the building's cellars. Kudos to the staff for their courtesy and hospitality. TO DO AGAIN

05/05/2026: My partner and I spent a wonderful 24 hours at Palazzo Cestari, and it was a truly rejuvenating experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt an atmosphere of peace and relaxation that allowed us to completely unplug from our daily routine. The spa was one of our highlights: the Turkish bath was fantastic, and the pool had something magical, perfect for relaxing and letting go. Everything was designed down to the smallest detail, creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. In the evening, we enjoyed a dinner full of authentic flavors; every dish was delicious and prepared with great care. Breakfast in the morning also won us over: varied, plentiful, and truly excellent. We had a wonderful time, in complete tranquility, and will take home wonderful memories of this experience. An ideal place for those seeking relaxation, good food, and a special atmosphere.

Dear Francesco, Perhaps you missed the fact that all five ravioli dishes were sent back because the ricotta filling was unfortunately sour. Instead, we were served tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, which, however, didn't live up to expectations. Much of this, too, was returned to the kitchen still on the plates. I'm sorry, but the overall experience was disappointing, and we most likely won't return. ....... An evening to forget. The food and service were decidedly disappointing. I expected much more, especially after reading some positive reviews. The quality of the food, unfortunately, leaves much to be desired, particularly in terms of the freshness and preservation of the ingredients. The only redeeming features of the experience are the truly enchanting location and view. Otherwise, the value for money is absolutely unjustified: it's neither worth the expense nor the trip. I don't recommend it.

A captivating experience, perfect for families, especially children. The association that manages the museum is truly committed to enhancing the museum itself and, above all, promoting the culture of the area. All housed in a perfectly restored monastery founded by San Francesco da Paola. We highly recommend it.

26/07/2026: We've been frequenting this place for years because it's conveniently close to home, and the food is good, but unfortunately, the evening's experience has become too frustrating. The story repeats itself every time: an hour and a half to two hours pass between the wait for the waiters and the pizzas arriving. Sitting down at 9:00 PM means you systematically finish after 11:30 PM, which ruins the mood for the evening and prevents any other plans. Added to this is the severe disorganization of the service. Last night, we sent back a sandwich (requested with a double burger) because the meat was undercooked; it was brought back with just one burger and no sides. Given the constant inattention and the fatigue we'd accumulated throughout the evening, we decided to give up just to get away. It's a shame, but proximity alone is no longer enough to justify evenings spent feeling nervous.

04/07/2026: If you want to spend an evening decorating, this is the place. Having arrived at 9:00 PM, my girlfriend and I literally became invisible to the staff. Despite repeated attempts to call the waiters (one of whom even said, "If you wait 5 minutes, I'll bring you some pancakes for the wait"... Except half an hour had passed) who darted past us, by 10:15 PM we still hadn't seen even a single order. We left in desperation, on empty stomachs. If you don't know how to manage tables, don't take customers.

03/08/2026: Even though we hadn't booked, they immediately seated us with a sea view. The place is casual and welcoming. The wait staff is helpful and fast. We ate well, with abundant and well-cooked dishes. You can choose between a pizzeria and a restaurant.

10/07/2026: We stayed for a few days just for the convenience, but the service was disappointing. Customer service and hospitality were zero. All I can say is a beautiful garden. If they recommend Scarpariello, tell them to call you "chiavatell nfacc"

08/08/2026: Very positive experience! I don't understand the pretentious reviews I read before going. If I had trusted them, I would have missed out on a lovely, traditional place to eat good pizza. The service was super fast! I didn't even have time to order, and in a few minutes we were served! I should point out that the place was full! The waiters were courteous and friendly!

08/08/2026: I discovered this corner of paradise almost by accident and was immediately pleasantly surprised. The place is well-kept and clean. The staff is extremely kind and attentive to every request. I had a mixed fried fish appetizer... delicious, lightly fried and not greasy; you could tell it was handmade, not the usual frozen stuff. But the real highlight was the pizza (and I say this as a Neapolitan). For a moment, it was like coming home. Light, perfectly cooked, and made with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try authentic Neapolitan pizza in a peaceful corner of Scario.

30/06/2026: My experience was decidedly negative, and I wouldn't recommend this property. The room is described as "small," but in reality, it's an extremely cramped and suffocating attic space. This detail isn't even mentioned in the description, and more importantly, there are no photographs to help us understand the room's true layout. The published images are therefore, in my opinion, misleading. Privacy is virtually nonexistent: the room's only window looks directly onto a shared terrace accessible to all hotel guests, meaning you have to keep the curtains and window closed to feel even the slightest bit private. The only way to make the room breathable was to keep the air conditioning on, but it's installed right above the bed and blows cold air directly onto the people sleeping. After three nights, we found ourselves with a severe stiff neck. The room also lacks even the most basic amenities: there are no chairs, tables, or even a place to put your suitcases and personal belongings. The bathroom also lacks any shelves or towel racks. We were forced to take two plastic chairs from the shared terrace to have a place to put our belongings, even our shower products. I documented everything with photographs. Despite immediately expressing my dissatisfaction with the accommodations, we were not offered any solution or even a room change. Parking is also very problematic: it's located on a steep and bumpy road, so much so that driving up it with a normal car is truly difficult. Furthermore, to reach the property, you have to travel several kilometers of narrow hairpin bends on a dark and difficult road. We stayed three nights and the experience was very disappointing. I believe that the presentation of the room on the website does not reflect reality and that the photographs are misleading. For this reason, I absolutely cannot recommend this property.

18/11/2025: Il Negrito is one of the best cocktail bars in Salerno. Leo and his staff are professionals with extensive experience and mixology skills. Excellent ingredients, a meticulously selected selection, and a friendly atmosphere create the perfect setting for a relaxing evening in good company, accompanied by excellent music. Located in the historic heart of the city, it's the ideal place for an aperitivo before dinner at one of the osterias in the historic center.

06/09/2025: A place of rudeness, from the start, whose only privilege is being adjacent to the Piazza del Duomo. The bartender was immediately rude and uncouth, the drink selection was absolutely mediocre and predictable, and finally, the last but not least: After waiting quite a while at a stool table for a single table to become available, where I dared to sit, the same staff member almost immediately burst into my table, telling me she had to set up a place for seven and that I could return to the raised table, so she could "offer me a stool." That said. Incredible rudeness, in a second-rate place that thinks it's right on the Champs-Élysées.

05/05/2026: I've been to this pastry shop, and I have to say the desserts are quite good: I tried the realistic fruit, and it was truly well-made and enjoyable. Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by the behavior of one of the staff members, who was truly rude, visibly bored with his job, and unhelpful. He responded with a coldness that, in my opinion, even came across as rude. Honestly, for this reason alone, I don't think I'll be back.

27/04/2026: I don't know the bakery, but I received a free "BRONTE" Colomba cake for Easter, and honestly, I was completely disappointed. The dough was dry, while both the cream layer inside and the pistachio glaze on top had a strange taste. The result: inedible. I hope it was an isolated incident...
