31/08/2025: Returning to this place always brings a special culinary experience. I recently visited with some American friends who thoroughly enjoyed the food, the location, the ambiance, the professionalism, and the kindness of the staff. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but above all, it transports you back to the past while keeping your feet firmly planted in the present. The talent, initiative, and courage of the young owners are evident, demonstrating their attachment to their roots. Congratulations, Geppino. See you soon.

22/08/2025: Attentive, helpful staff who pamper you throughout the culinary experience. A thoughtfully curated wine list, more focused on quality than label names. I recommend it. Compliments to the chef's sister, whose name I unfortunately don't remember. Kind and cheerful, she welcomed us like friends.

21/10/2025: Nice spot, close to the road, parking seemed to be possible and the pizza had a nice crispy base, loaded with ingredients. They had tap beer which waa a surprise and the staff friendly and attentive to the guests.

18/10/2025: Some items are good, others average. Some staff are lovely others not so much. Due to the massive swings, I feel from my experience this place sits at a 3 for now

14/03/2026: The pizza looked excellent, with a light and fluffy crust. It's a shame I ordered paella. The rice was really undercooked, hard to swallow (and I love rice and pasta al dente), and soaked in oil. All the seafood was definitely frozen and far too chewy. I'm giving it two stars, not one, for the excellent service and the pizza, which definitely would have been a better choice. For the price, I really expected more from what's considered their flagship dish. I wouldn't eat it again 🙏

12/01/2026: I don't usually write bad reviews, but this time I'll make an exception. I go to this restaurant's website and find a menu that says they also do takeout or delivery. I call to order a portion of chicken with potatoes (the menu says the chicken weighs about 1 kg and costs 16 euros), but they tell me they don't do delivery and that the menu is out of date (maybe it's time to update it). "To be fair," they inform me that the portion isn't 1 kg but rather a thigh + drumstick +, of course, potatoes, and that the price is 15 euros per portion. Okay, I'll order for pickup. I arrive, pay, and get in the car ready to leave, but I decide to check the portions because the containers seemed small and light... I was right, the portions were indeed very small, and I decide to go back to ask if everything was correct. They tell me those are the correct portions. Obviously, the waiters and cashiers aren't to blame, so I say goodbye and leave. Once I get home, I weigh the chicken and potatoes to be as accurate as possible: Chicken portion 1: 160 g Chicken portion 2: 185 g Single portion of potatoes: 210 g Total cost, including two 33cl Cokes in glass bottles: €36 Honestly, this seems like an ABSURD price. I definitely won't be back! The staff (from what little I saw) seemed polite and friendly.

20/08/2025: A regular stop in both summer and winter, with traditional local dishes, friendly staff, and a comfortable setting. We have two dogs (they're also very welcome).

15/12/2025: I went there on a Saturday night to try something, but unfortunately they don't have any dairy-free options. The only sandwich was a hot dog.

07/04/2026: Perfect for any tourist in need of a proper italian meal in a mix of pizzeria, but fine dining ambience in the back. The waiters know their craft and the food is excellent. You can park directly in front of the place, too!

A captivating experience, perfect for families, especially children. The association that manages the museum is truly committed to enhancing the museum itself and, above all, promoting the culture of the area. All housed in a perfectly restored monastery founded by San Francesco da Paola. We highly recommend it.

12/04/2026: Always a great experience! We returned last week for both the meat and the polenta, served in a variety of flavors. Lino and his staff are always welcoming and professional. We sat in the middle room, which offers a view of an impressive and varied wine list. Honestly, we would have preferred a bit of heating, since the grill room isn't the one with the grill, and the temperature is definitely cooler. We'll definitely be back! Braceria Scacciaventi is a lovely place where you can eat well and spend a pleasant time among a select clientele.

15/02/2026: We made a reservation, but upon arrival, we were asked to stand for over half an hour before being seated. We had specifically ordered a Red Krowa. However, we overheard the grill chef tell the waitress that it wasn't available and that only Prussiana or Phenomena were available. We weren't informed of the shortage, and we were nevertheless served a different meat without any prior notification. When we asked for clarification, a staff member initially stated that it was Red Krowa, while another later intervened, admitting that it was Phenomena because the Red Krowa was out of stock. Only then was clarity clarified. The price charged was, in fact, the same as the Phenomena. Furthermore, the meat served had a lot of sinew and was far from the quality expected from a grill restaurant of this caliber. The side dish also arrived different from what we ordered and was only replaced after we notified them. We understand that a product can run out, but the lack of communication and the contradictory information we received were not a sign of customer care. An overall disappointing experience.

16/12/2025: Excellent pizzeria with a fantastic terrace in the summer. The owner, Mimmo, is sincere and friendly. Always open even in the winter, which is a big plus in this area. Good wood-fired pizzas and good food.

19/10/2025: An absolute hidden gem! You wouldn’t know from the street that it’s even there. Stunning views for sunset, aesthetic designed roof top with a mini pool. Great cocktails and friendly staff. Loved the little snacks with the drinks too.
