20/08/2025: My go-to bakery when I stay in Ascea. Everything is delicious, from bread to sandwiches. You'll also find filled croissants and pizza by the slice. Highly recommended.
14/08/2025: I was there yesterday. I wanted to buy some of their products to give as gifts for Ferragosto (August 15th) but, unfortunately, the rudeness—I presume, the owner Carmine's—forced me to decline. All for simply asking to use a tray instead of a paper bag, considering I was supposed to be giving a gift. I was treated rudely despite having been waiting for over twenty minutes.
Unfortunately, it's not just the quality of the products, which fortunately are available everywhere in Cilento, that makes the difference, but also, and above all, the manners used with customers, the good manners that the owner of the Luongo bakery in Ascea Marina clearly lacks.

08/03/2026: I was here this evening for an aperitif with my friends.
We had drinks and a platter. The prices were fair for the drinks, but I think the platter was a bit expensive at €16. It was small and there wasn't much to taste.

07/09/2025: We had a great time. The place is beautiful, the sea is stunning, the property could use some renovation, but its location retains its charm. The entertainment was fantastic, we had a great time. My only complaint was the food; the food was good, but the side dishes were really poor for my taste. A buffet would have been nice, and I don't think they would have failed. Otherwise, everything was perfect, especially considering the price.

10/12/2025: I'm referring to the restaurant. I had an exquisite dinner where the menu was full of typical local dishes and they were all exceptional. When you go, I recommend the ciambotta and especially the hazelnut ravioli, which were a delicacy. All the positive things about the service, the location, and the dishes are truly a wonderful place where you can also relax. I highly recommend it as a restaurant (not because of the rooms, but because I didn't use them). 10/10
29/05/2025: This review is based on my last visit on Easter Monday. It's the perfect place to savor authentic, home-cooked flavors. This family-run restaurant, where the legendary Tonino will delight you with excellent grilled meats, is a must. If you have the opportunity (depending on the season) to dine outside, take advantage of the beautiful view. The menu prices are reasonable. My family and I, whenever we can gather together, make the choice obvious. Recommended!

21/02/2026: Excellent quality rotisserie. All the products—pizzas, calzones, arancini, potato croquettes, and other rotisserie items—are artisanal and delicious. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly. Worth a visit.
24/01/2026: We bought a LARGE portion of potatoes for €5 to take to a couple of friends for dinner; we had high hopes, but it turned out to be a complete embarrassment! The owners filled a 300g tray with less than 250 grams of potatoes (I've attached a photo): NEVER AGAIN!
Next time, we'll bring them three bags of potatoes for €5.
