I gave the food 3 stars because on my last visit, the portions were smaller and the oil didn't seem top-quality. It was much better on other occasions.

18/01/2026: We sat down at this restaurant, and first thing we found was a dirty dishcloth on our table. We politely asked for it to be removed, but the waitress's response was truly RUDE. She said, "I KNOW, I LEFT IT." She also wanted to take our order without bringing us a menu, but unfortunately she was forced to do so. I'm truly sorry for this woman's dissatisfaction.

23/12/2025: I think that you will not find a better pizza almost anywhere! These guys also make the traditional pizza cooked in a tin, superb!
I visited recently with mates and I intend to return soon, great service, pizzas and value for money too. Ps there is a huge car park behind the premises too.

02/05/2026: My experience at this pizzeria was unfortunately disappointing in several respects. First, the wait for service was excessively long, far beyond what one would expect from an organized and efficient service.
As for the food, the quality didn't live up to expectations: the fried foods were served cold on the inside and hard on the outside, a clear sign of sloppy preparation. The pizza, on the other hand, was flavorless and, overall, barely edible.
It's particularly unfortunate that, once it's gained a certain amount of notoriety, the restaurant no longer seems to guarantee the quality standards that likely led to its initial success. Greater attention to both service and product quality would be welcome.

11/09/2025: I am confused by the high score that this restaurant achieves. I also note there are no pictures of pizza which is odd for a pizza restaurant. But having been there I now know why. It's terrible! It must be frozen pizza, the dough was strangely chewy, lacking the lightness or outer crispiness associated with a good pizza. The "for Di latte" looked like extremely old tough mozzarella, and the tomato sauce had a colour that was simply wrong.
They did however serve a decent wine, however I'm not sure of the cost.
11/09/2025: We (a married couple) were there several times seven years ago. A quaint restaurant in the front area. The back area is somewhat reminiscent of a campsite restaurant.
The waiter (presumably the owner) is the same as back then. He seems a bit edgy, but he can also smile sometimes.
I had pasta Bolognese and a salata mista, and my wife had stuffed ravioli and stuffed zucchini blossom. We drank beer. Everything was delicious.
We will be back.

04/06/2026: It's my historic pizzeria! I've known pizza chef Gerardo D'Auria since he first arrived in Salerno on Via Torrione and then on Via Martiri Ungeresi. It's a pizzeria close to the people and for the people.
13/05/2026: The old-fashioned pizza was delicious and well-cooked, and also very light and easy to digest. What a great find in the heart of Salerno.
