06/01/2026: We stayed at this agriturismo for New Year's Eve for two nights, including the New Year's Eve dinner. The rooms are new, well-maintained, and meticulously maintained, both in terms of cleanliness and furnishings. Breakfast was excellent, with a homemade cake made by Vincenzo's wife, which was truly appreciated. The property is nestled in a quiet area and is located about half an hour from the main seaside towns such as Palinuro and Ascea Marina, as well as the temples of Paestum. It would be helpful to install road signs to indicate the route, as Google Maps can lead you off-route (this happened to us). Overall, a very positive experience.

27/07/2025: An unpleasant experience marked by arrogance and impoliteness. Last night, I was truly shocked by the behavior of Marco, the owner of this bar. I had simply asked him politely if it was possible to prepare a spicy cocktail—an unusual request, admittedly, but not so absurd, considering that it's offered in many bars in Salerno, and with success. Besides, as they say, asking is polite, answering is polite. His response, however, was anything but polite: in a haughty and decidedly annoyed tone, he said something along the lines of "My mom is finishing her Bolognese, let's see if there's any spicy left," as if mocking my request. Not content with this, he began to openly mock me, displaying a lack of professionalism in engaging a rather elderly customer, miming the corkscrew gesture as if I were "out of my mind or had a screw loose," claiming that the "Bloody Mary" (a cocktail proposed by his own bartender—who had tried to make himself available, unlike him) was an ancient cocktail that hadn't been made for over ten years. All this in front of two of my friends... a humiliating and inappropriate scene, especially since Marco and I aren't even particularly close. Honestly, I think it's unacceptable for the owner to behave this way! Making someone feel like they're a burden when they're bringing in work is a serious mistake. I completely understand that a place might have a "classic" menu and not want to prepare non-standard drinks, but that doesn't justify arrogance, mockery, and rudeness. Furthermore, along with this customer he involved, he also made haughty jokes about another place that offers coffee cocktails (obviously, I won't name the bar of these dear friends of mine), branding it an "absurd combination," demonstrating, in my opinion, a narrow-mindedness that's truly out of place for those who work in this industry. Regardless of anything else, and as someone who runs a business myself, I maintain that respect for customers should come first. PS: Spicy food is a no-go on the Bolognese.

16/03/2026: Lambente and beautiful, very nice and tidy, small but a nice place, unfortunately the waiters are not Italian and we asked if the cafeteria was open the boy unfortunately did not speak our language and could not give us an answer, for the rest everything was beautiful, I recommend it also the catchy music I am slightly high

22/06/2025: A day of total relaxation. Often when you get to know places through social media you risk having too many expectations compared to reality. In this case the belief that we would have found a beautiful, clean place where you can eat well (km 0 products!) was fully confirmed. I do not give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement. For example, I recommend a fence that delimits the parking area given the risk of falling in front of the raised area. The rooms were not evaluated as we did not stay overnight. Highly recommended!!!

28/05/2025: The hilltop location with sea view is truly splendid; the family and friendly welcome; the food... well, the meals are prepared with all the products from the garden and the farm and cooked really well by the owner, who really pampers her guests. The 4 stars for the rooms are just an incentive to fix some small, but really small, defects: a shower siphon that doesn't drain very well or the window that opens with difficulty. All things that can really be solved and that don't take anything away from the comfort of the rooms and the beauty of the structure... just small flaws that, if eliminated, would make the San Basilio even more splendid. I won't add photos because those you see on the site correspond to reality: very beautiful structure with greenery and lush plants... the scent of flowers and a breathtaking view

09/12/2025: We stayed one night over the Immaculate Conception weekend. The property is brand new and huge, located about 15 minutes from the center of Salerno. Self-check-in is via phone with the owner, who is very kind and helpful. The room was large and quite clean, with a very comfortable bed and everything you need, including a pay-per-use mini-fridge (at least a bottle of water could have been free). I don't appreciate the marble flooring, as it's very cold in the winter, and a single heater isn't enough to properly heat the entire room and the bathroom, which isn't heated. Breakfast is served at the bar downstairs (owned by the same owner) and consists of a drink and a croissant...very good. If you're driving, I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: Just 15 minutes from the center of Salerno, we stayed for a weekend to admire the Artist Lights. Bathroom amenities, a hairdryer, and a fully stocked minibar are provided, and breakfast is included.

22/03/2026: Last night for the first time we ate pizza in this place, what can I say, very good, excellent fried food and the girl in the dining room was very polite in serving, compliments, we will definitely be back next Saturday to try other things

02/10/2025: Special Pub: 15 Years of Success — An Unforgettable Evening! The 15th anniversary celebration of Special Pub in Battipaglia was a truly fun event. The atmosphere was electrifying and the organization impeccable. We came to celebrate, but of course we also ate: the food was, once again, top-notch! Amazing sandwiches and specialties, a true guarantee of quality. The owners are fantastic people, and you can see how much they put into this place. Their friendliness and dedication are the true secret to Special's biennial success. A well-deserved achievement. Special Pub is an institution: the food is excellent and the atmosphere is even better!

29/09/2025: I'm giving 5 stars only because there aren't 100!!! What can I say, a stratospheric evening, finally an event where we had fun in a genuine way and felt at home, singing at the top of our lungs while laughing and enjoying the company of everyone present!!! The quality of the products is beyond discussion, starting from the originality of the platter to the goodness of the sandwiches!!! And as the icing on the cake (which was also delicious!!!) the fireworks, explosive and colorful like the owners!!! Special, what can I say, YOU ARE SIMPLY SPECIAL ❤️

11/10/2025: We went there on the recommendation of our tour guide. The food was truly delicious. We had one pizza margarita, two pizzas with buffalo mozzarella, one four-cheese pizza, and one pasta carbonara. All the dishes were truly delicious. The prices were also completely reasonable.

18/10/2025: A spacious, well-maintained place that truly caters to everyone. The pizzas are easy to digest, the sandwiches are delicious, and there's a wide variety of quality meats, which isn't always a given. I ordered the special "Casello 2.0" pizza: super-stuffed with a mini fillet and crispy chicken strips... a true explosion of flavor! The strips were perhaps a little too greasy, but overall, it was truly delicious. The Margherita was also excellent, and the sandwiches were much appreciated. The only small flaw: the place is always busy, even with early afternoon reservations... but that, after all, is a sign of quality. Highly recommended for those looking for a tasty pizza and flavorful meats.

18/10/2025: We had a great experience and really enjoyed it. When we went the first time, we didn't know we needed to reserve, but the second time we wanted to go, we booked a table at 5:30 PM (reservation time), but they told us it was fully booked, so we had to reserve at least two days in advance. Nothing to complain about, the pizzas were delicious, and we'll definitely be back.

23/12/2025: I think that you will not find a better pizza almost anywhere! These guys also make the traditional pizza cooked in a tin, superb! I visited recently with mates and I intend to return soon, great service, pizzas and value for money too. Ps there is a huge car park behind the premises too.
