23/12/2025: I returned with my friends last night and will return soon with my partner again during these Christmas days, in this exceptional place managed in an excellent way, from the kitchen (simply extraordinary: trofie, mussels and clams creamed to perfection, with the chili pepper made by them which is a marvelous thing, bruschetta salted to the point of crunchy very tasty to pass the wait, fried fish that spoke of traditional home flavors unique to our land, tasty crunchy soft and very fresh! Do we then want to talk about the service? The courtesy of the incredible attention towards the customer? They treated us like queens! I noticed the courtesy towards all the customers, the availability, the attention, the elegance of the owner and the infinite discretion! Highly recommended today, tomorrow and always!

21/09/2025: After being there a few years ago, we barely managed to speak to someone to make a reservation. Absolutely true, the staff was friendly and the location was beautiful. However, we ordered an appetizer consisting of two marinated anchovies, a slice of tuna and a slice of swordfish, an anchovy meatball, and two grams of octopus on a half potato cake... €18, okay... Catch of the day? A dolphin fish of about 300 grams for the modest sum of €40, and that's also fine (they cost no more than €12 per kg) retail. I ordered a peppered mussel... dry, overcooked, tiny, and rubbery... €13. I don't like to cause controversy in restaurants; I'm a chef and I teach at a hotel school... The customer must be respected. Certain "stuff" should NOT be brought to the table. A plate of mussels costs nothing; if you make a mistake, it can happen. But DON'T BRING IT to the table! No arguments, I simply won't be coming back!

13/09/2025: If you want to eat a pizza in Palinuro with 100% quality ingredients and a truly top-notch pizza dough, you have to come to Med Farine Mediterranee. The pizzeria is located on Palinuro's main street, and if you can get there at sunset, it's truly something fantastic.

22/06/2025: A day of total relaxation. Often when you get to know places through social media you risk having too many expectations compared to reality. In this case the belief that we would have found a beautiful, clean place where you can eat well (km 0 products!) was fully confirmed. I do not give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement. For example, I recommend a fence that delimits the parking area given the risk of falling in front of the raised area. The rooms were not evaluated as we did not stay overnight. Highly recommended!!!

28/05/2025: The hilltop location with sea view is truly splendid; the family and friendly welcome; the food... well, the meals are prepared with all the products from the garden and the farm and cooked really well by the owner, who really pampers her guests. The 4 stars for the rooms are just an incentive to fix some small, but really small, defects: a shower siphon that doesn't drain very well or the window that opens with difficulty. All things that can really be solved and that don't take anything away from the comfort of the rooms and the beauty of the structure... just small flaws that, if eliminated, would make the San Basilio even more splendid. I won't add photos because those you see on the site correspond to reality: very beautiful structure with greenery and lush plants... the scent of flowers and a breathtaking view

24/08/2025: On our way back from vacation, we stopped by and saw this restaurant, and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly. It's a shame it's a bit far from where we live, otherwise we would definitely have returned.

24/08/2025: Coming from Caserta, we stopped for lunch on Saturday, August 23rd at Locanda del Gusto. We were pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness and lightness of the food we ate. The place is very charming, and we were served by a truly kind man. I recommend stopping by; it's worth it!

19/10/2025: Very nice place, welcoming and young! The staff is kind and helpful, and there's no shortage of friendliness. Excellent quality, we tried the reinterpretations of the frittatina and panzarotto. The pizza is very good, I even tried the double-cooked one, which I rated 9 😉.

09/11/2025: The view is certainly unparalleled, the location is lovely, and the quality of the ingredients is good, but that's not enough! My wife and I went to the Cantina Belvedere restaurant in October, and we've been there several times. I personally recommend it because the food is good. Some kitchen mistakes can be avoided, especially if there are only four people sitting. I've heard it happen, but if you want to provide a certain level of service, you leave nothing to chance. Overall, the dish was remade. Prices are normal for this type of restaurant.

31/01/2026: I always order on Deliveroo and am always happy when I eat their dishes. The best fried food in Avellino. Great prices and exceptional quality. Satisfied.

02/09/2025: Average pizza... small but nice atmosphere... on Saturdays they do a lot of takeaway so if you sit down for pizza you have to wait at least half an hour

29/12/2025: Nothing to say, my favorite yogurt ever, but when the owner is there preparing it I prefer it because it is filled to the point, his employees tend to be slow and I don't understand why 😂 sometimes I only eat plain yogurt with very little topping :(

26/08/2025: Excellent ice cream shop, truly authentic and flavorful. I love pistachio and melon, and it's top notch! I also tried the pastries... equally delicious! I absolutely recommend them ❤️

09/12/2025: We stayed one night over the Immaculate Conception weekend. The property is brand new and huge, located about 15 minutes from the center of Salerno. Self-check-in is via phone with the owner, who is very kind and helpful. The room was large and quite clean, with a very comfortable bed and everything you need, including a pay-per-use mini-fridge (at least a bottle of water could have been free). I don't appreciate the marble flooring, as it's very cold in the winter, and a single heater isn't enough to properly heat the entire room and the bathroom, which isn't heated. Breakfast is served at the bar downstairs (owned by the same owner) and consists of a drink and a croissant...very good. If you're driving, I highly recommend it.

08/12/2025: Just 15 minutes from the center of Salerno, we stayed for a weekend to admire the Artist Lights. Bathroom amenities, a hairdryer, and a fully stocked minibar are provided, and breakfast is included.

20/12/2025: Unable to rate as parking was not possible. We'll try again.

12/09/2025: The owners are wonderful people, always available and courteous, the coffee is exceptional (highly recommended.... they also have salt and tobacco)!
