13/08/2026: We went to this little trattoria for lunch and the food was good. Nothing against what we ate, but the sore point was when a somewhat mafia-like thug showed up to give us the bill without considering the price list we had ordered. His manner annoyed us, and we demanded that he give us the bill specifying how much we consumed with the prices expressed on the price list. This probably put him in a difficult position and he almost threatened us, saying that the bill was much more and he had almost given us something. While in fact the bill was a full twenty percent less, I would like to tell this rude person that, as I later learned from a fellow villager, he is the son of the owner and that he often does this by stealing from customers. But I swear, if he had told me he needed a tip, I certainly would have given him €10-15. I feel sorry for the trattoria and for the elderly lady who cooks quite well, who loses credibility.

02/05/2026: We stopped by this place in San Benedetto Po by chance and immediately felt at home. The gluten-free pumpkin ravioli were delicious and homemade, the main courses and side dishes were excellent, and the gluten-free dessert was fantastic (my partner had seconds!). The prices were reasonable and the service was top-notch: the hostess was truly kind. We'll definitely be back!

28/07/2026: The best restaurant in Ischia! By far!! The cuisine is refined and the menu changes weekly. The prices are reasonable. The view of Sant'Angelo is exceptional. The staff is kind, discreet, and efficient! A must-try when you're in Ischia.

01/06/2026: A full view of Sant'Angelo, the moon rising, the tagliolini that carries the flavor of delicious shrimp into your mouth, the vegetables that... taste like good vegetables. What more can I say? When it's like this, you pay attention to the smallest details, the subtleties: a little more attention to the temperature of the wine (which was also excellent). This restaurant is highly recommended.

12/12/2025: It's become my go-to place for morning croissants, after-lunch desserts, and various types of bread, but they also do everything from rotisserie to deli, and everything's delicious. Every time I'm in the Policastro area, I make sure to stop by for supplies.

21/04/2026: Unfortunately, the location is small, but very rustic and welcoming. The pizza is SPECTACULAR: long-risen, light, well-seasoned, flavorful, and very digestible. You have to try it to believe it.

23/07/2026: Rustic trattoria at the foot of the San Severino fortress. I rediscovered the flavors of my childhood. The cuisine is home-style but very well executed. Excellent prices! Highly recommended!

09/08/2026: On a Saturday evening, the place was half empty. We ordered six pizzas at 9:40 PM. Two arrived at 11:05 PM, the others at 11:25 PM (!), and despite asking several times how long it would take, the answer was always "they're coming out." The owner, who isn't particularly welcoming, even though I had asked her about it, didn't bother reviewing our order or checking with the wait staff. Nor did she ever apologize for the ridiculous wait, limiting herself to a terse "it happens," without any explanation. The final insult came when the bill arrived, where they didn't even have the courtesy to round up the bill to 41 cents per person. A meanness I've rarely witnessed, certainly not in the days of "Corallo," where the humility was far greater. In short, if you have time to spare and like to eat around midnight, the pizza isn't bad.

09/08/2026: We waited 3 hours for 6 pizzas. Service was practically nonexistent. Two pizzas arrived when practically everyone else had already finished. What a disappointment.
