26/07/2025: We're regular customers, and this Saturday we went there again to pick up some takeout pizzas (five). After an hour of waiting, we noticed they'd skipped our order, and we reported it. We were told that other people had priority because we'd ordered fewer than five pizzas. We waited a little longer, and after another 15 minutes, we requested our order, only to be revealed to the pizza chef. I'm not writing to point out the mistake, which can happen to anyone, but to urge the restaurant to show "greater courtesy" to its customers, given that at the end of the day, we were simply told that "we were there at the wrong time," with no apology whatsoever.

20/08/2025: My go-to bakery when I stay in Ascea. Everything is delicious, from bread to sandwiches. You'll also find filled croissants and pizza by the slice. Highly recommended.

14/08/2025: I was there yesterday. I wanted to buy some of their products to give as gifts for Ferragosto (August 15th) but, unfortunately, the rudeness—I presume, the owner Carmine's—forced me to decline. All for simply asking to use a tray instead of a paper bag, considering I was supposed to be giving a gift. I was treated rudely despite having been waiting for over twenty minutes. Unfortunately, it's not just the quality of the products, which fortunately are available everywhere in Cilento, that makes the difference, but also, and above all, the manners used with customers, the good manners that the owner of the Luongo bakery in Ascea Marina clearly lacks.

15/05/2025: Dined here whilst staying in Atrani. The food was excellent, the service incredibly efficient and welcoming. We were a walk in, no wait time. Would highly recommend. So good we booked for the following night.

02/05/2025: Pasamos una semana en la costa de Amalfi. La comida y el servicio en Savo era increíble. Un montón de trampas turísticas y ofertas pobres en Amalfi y especialmente en Positano. Esta pequeña ciudad de Atrani tenía dos de los mejores restaurantes de la costa amalfitana y yo pondría a Savo en contra de cualquier restaurante en el que haya estado. Pasta fresca, tomates increíbles, pasta de limón era increíble. Pedí una recomendación y Elia sugirió la pasta de calabacín, que era uno de los artículos más baratos del menú. ¿Dónde hacen eso? Tenía razón y puede que haya sido uno de los mejores platos de pasta que he probado. Carla y Elia te hacen sentir como en familia y eso es muy raro hoy en día. ¡Todo alrededor de 5 estrellas! 10/10/2025: I am not often rating restaurants. But this was the best Pizza I have ever eaten. To be more precise: Pizza styles are a matter of taste. Some like simple salami some other toppings. Hence the most important thing with Pizza is the dough. And this is extraordinary! The crust is so fluffy and soft inside while still being crunchy outside - it's a dream.

25/09/2025: Although I'm not a fan of the fantasy genre (the theme chosen for the restaurant's decor), I appreciated the atmosphere, made welcoming by the appropriately dimmed lighting. One notable detail: the background music, ubiquitous in many places, here is low-volume and '80s pop, pleasant and never annoying. The food is excellent: the sandwiches have soft bread and generous, flavorful fillings. The cuts of meat are also very good. Special mention goes to the appetizers, almost all prepared directly in the restaurant's kitchen. The service is quick and very courteous. Finally, the prices are in line with the quality offered.

06/09/2025: I only got takeaway the pizza was amazing, proper wood fired pizza oven with staff making the dough fresh to order However I did have to wait over 50 minutes for it when I was told it was a 10 minutes wait

09/09/2025: This pizzeria has several advantages, first and foremost its location. It's located in the heart of the merchants district, right in the heart of Salerno, with a dozen seats outside, overlooking the street and giving off a sense of the pizzerias of yesteryear. The pizza can only be made in a pan (I believe), and this detail makes them special. The food is exceptionally good value, the prices are very competitive, and the pizza's quality is unquestionable (note: the pizza wasn't burned on the bottom, which unfortunately isn't a given, and it didn't even leave a bitter aftertaste). I gave it 4 stars and not 5 for two reasons: the arancini from the fritto misto were slightly cold at the center (the rest of the fried foods are delicious and all artisanal, except for the fries), and they lack quality beers; unfortunately, they only have the classic cheap ones. By arriving early, we didn't even have to wait long; we'll definitely be back!

28/09/2025: We tried the sandwich on a Saturday evening. The meat was excellent quality and the toppings were really tasty. The option to customize your sandwich was great. The staff was very friendly and the prices were fair. We'll definitely be back.

26/08/2025: The pizza, first courses, and second courses were passable, but certainly not memorable. Prices were in line with those of other (more refined) establishments along the seafront.

22/08/2025: I discovered and tried this restaurant's cuisine through friends, and I've been back a couple of times since, but last night I was deeply disappointed. The service was quite disappointing, and the food lacked flavor and quality. Not to mention the prices. It's no longer the Malandro it once was. I don't recommend it.

13/06/2025: In this restaurant, in addition to a typical local menu, you can also order paella and sangria. Here are the dishes we tasted: eggplant meatballs with tomato and parmesan; tuna cube; seafood panzanella; turbot with potatoes.

04/10/2025: Excellent pizza. I recommend this pizzeria located on the Faiano hill, with a view of Pontegnano from above. The waiter was a bit distracted and then disappeared. A little more professionalism wouldn't hurt. The price is in line with the product offered.
