10/03/2026: A positive experience, from the food to the service. I definitely recommend it.

11/09/2025: We (a married couple) were there several times seven years ago. A quaint restaurant in the front area. The back area is somewhat reminiscent of a campsite restaurant. The waiter (presumably the owner) is the same as back then. He seems a bit edgy, but he can also smile sometimes. I had pasta Bolognese and a salata mista, and my wife had stuffed ravioli and stuffed zucchini blossom. We drank beer. Everything was delicious. We will be back.

11/09/2025: I am confused by the high score that this restaurant achieves. I also note there are no pictures of pizza which is odd for a pizza restaurant. But having been there I now know why. It's terrible! It must be frozen pizza, the dough was strangely chewy, lacking the lightness or outer crispiness associated with a good pizza. The "for Di latte" looked like extremely old tough mozzarella, and the tomato sauce had a colour that was simply wrong. They did however serve a decent wine, however I'm not sure of the cost.

27/07/2025: An unpleasant experience marked by arrogance and impoliteness. Last night, I was truly shocked by the behavior of Marco, the owner of this bar. I had simply asked him politely if it was possible to prepare a spicy cocktail—an unusual request, admittedly, but not so absurd, considering that it's offered in many bars in Salerno, and with success. Besides, as they say, asking is polite, answering is polite. His response, however, was anything but polite: in a haughty and decidedly annoyed tone, he said something along the lines of "My mom is finishing her Bolognese, let's see if there's any spicy left," as if mocking my request. Not content with this, he began to openly mock me, displaying a lack of professionalism in engaging a rather elderly customer, miming the corkscrew gesture as if I were "out of my mind or had a screw loose," claiming that the "Bloody Mary" (a cocktail proposed by his own bartender—who had tried to make himself available, unlike him) was an ancient cocktail that hadn't been made for over ten years. All this in front of two of my friends... a humiliating and inappropriate scene, especially since Marco and I aren't even particularly close. Honestly, I think it's unacceptable for the owner to behave this way! Making someone feel like they're a burden when they're bringing in work is a serious mistake. I completely understand that a place might have a "classic" menu and not want to prepare non-standard drinks, but that doesn't justify arrogance, mockery, and rudeness. Furthermore, along with this customer he involved, he also made haughty jokes about another place that offers coffee cocktails (obviously, I won't name the bar of these dear friends of mine), branding it an "absurd combination," demonstrating, in my opinion, a narrow-mindedness that's truly out of place for those who work in this industry. Regardless of anything else, and as someone who runs a business myself, I maintain that respect for customers should come first. PS: Spicy food is a no-go on the Bolognese.

14/10/2025: Wide selection. Low price. Croissants on par with those at the local pastry shop, NOT like the frozen ones at nearby cafes. A few steps from the station. Open early in the morning.

17/09/2025: Visit date: September 17, 2025. Cappuccino and croissant at the table. While I was eating, they brought me a receipt (maybe because I'm dark-haired and don't look Italian?) hmmm. And other tables that were eating didn't get receipts! hmmm!.....

19/01/2026: For those with a family who want to eat pizza by the meter without spending a fortune, this is the best choice you can make in Salerno (value for money). The staff and owners are always quick and friendly. Plus, the counter offers a wide selection of pizza slices. 👍

18/12/2025: A welcoming pizzeria with meticulous attention to detail. The staff are friendly, helpful, and make you feel right at home. Marco, the owner, makes excellent pizza, also available by the wagon wheel. The menu is extensive, with a wide selection of pizzas, both classic and specialty (and on weekends they also offer a new pizza). Recommended for a quiet evening with friends or family. ☺️

A variety of drinks are available, including various wines and many beers, from the most well-known and commercial to the most sought-after, for those looking for something more unique to pair with their pizza. The location demonstrates attention to every detail, as does the service, with friendly staff always available to satisfy every customer request. Marco, the owner, is reliable and knowledgeable, always welcomes everyone with a smile and puts great care and creativity into his work. I highly recommend spending an evening at this pizzeria!

11/10/2025: The fried fish without asterisks piqued my interest, and the fish was indeed very fresh. The sautéed escarole with Taggiasca olives, capers, and pine nuts was less interesting, as it was too oily. The staff were courteous and helpful, and the owner was truly kind to open a bottle of rosé for me, offering me a very good glass. The atmosphere was welcoming, with nice background music despite the side cover.

10/05/2025: A very beautiful, spacious venue with plenty of outdoor space. The building housing the restaurant itself is elegantly and sophisticatedly furnished, separated from the outside by a fully glass wall. The menu focuses primarily on seafood, with interesting dishes showcasing the chef's experimental approach. The tasting menu is an excellent option for those who want a more comprehensive experience of the cuisine offered. The ingredients are all top-notch, as is the presentation and the service, which is helpful and professional. Definitely a place worth trying.

25/08/2025: Teggiano, a beautiful scenic spot perfect for an afternoon stroll and a dinner stop. It's a shame the churches are closed on Sunday afternoon.

15/08/2025: A beautiful medieval festival with many food stalls, fire shows, acrobats, and knife throwers. The assault on the castle at the end was very, very beautiful.

18/11/2025: Il Negrito is one of the best cocktail bars in Salerno. Leo and his staff are professionals with extensive experience and mixology skills. Excellent ingredients, a meticulously selected selection, and a friendly atmosphere create the perfect setting for a relaxing evening in good company, accompanied by excellent music. Located in the historic heart of the city, it's the ideal place for an aperitivo before dinner at one of the osterias in the historic center.

06/09/2025: A place of rudeness, from the start, whose only privilege is being adjacent to the Piazza del Duomo. The bartender was immediately rude and uncouth, the drink selection was absolutely mediocre and predictable, and finally, the last but not least: After waiting quite a while at a stool table for a single table to become available, where I dared to sit, the same staff member almost immediately burst into my table, telling me she had to set up a place for seven and that I could return to the raised table, so she could "offer me a stool." That said. Incredible rudeness, in a second-rate place that thinks it's right on the Champs-Élysées.

10/12/2025: Palazzo Avino is a magnificent luxury, family run hotel, right in the heart of Ravello. It has a prime central location, easy to access, & views to die for, right over the south end of the Amalfi Coast. The interior design, the curated details & exterior common areas (gardens, bar, pool & terrace) are all carefully thought of. The friendly staff here go out of their way to ensure you have an wonderful stay & experience.

08/12/2025: Impeccable stay: attentive and discreet service, elegant rooms with attention to every detail. The spa and restaurant are top-notch. An experience of pure relaxation and luxury, highly recommended.

14/12/2025: This is to be understood because for a first course I spent 28 euros which is always a bit expensive but it is important to have eaten very well

02/11/2025: The portions of pasta were hallucinatingly large in the best sense of the word, not to mention that the dessert was out of this world.

10/12/2025: What can I say, a must-see when you pass by, Elio the owner is exquisite, kind and always friendly, the food is spectacular, Vincenzo is unique

05/12/2025: Good food and plenty of it. A popular stop for truck drivers. Prices are reasonable. Selection based on daily specials, no menu. Everything is great. And at least they're open for lunch.
